The previous night, Saanvi had explained all the details about Daya's behavior to her mother. This revelation had also been why her mother hadn't protested when Raj had held her close earlier. Her mother understood the precarious situation her daughter was in.
Her mother continued, "You need someone strong like Raj by your side, someone who can protect you. Think about it, Saanvi. Don't let this opportunity slip away."
Her mother also liked Raj because he was smart, handsome, and most importantly, very rich. She wanted her daughter to be settled and saw Raj as the perfect match.

Vijay watched the TV, a smirk forming as he thought to himself, "Looks like Kumar did a good job." The news channels were ablaze with stories mentioning the name "Kali" in connection with various crimes, both national and international. The widespread coverage was exactly what Vijay had hoped for.
Raj entered the villa, exuding his usual air of authority. "Did Bittu leave for his task?" he asked, his voice steady and commanding.
"Yes, Boss, he left in the morning with his people's," one of his men responded promptly.
"Ok, so where are Vasu's brothers?" Raj asked again.
"In the basement torture room," Vikas replied.

Daya was tirelessly searching for Vasu's brothers all over Vizag, while Vasu himself was on a violent rampage, interrogating and killing his old enemies in a desperate quest to find them. Despite his brutal efforts, Vasu was unable to uncover any clues about their whereabouts.
Then, Waltair Vasu's phone rang. He answered it, and a chilling voice on the other end said, "I am Kali." There was a pause before the voice continued, "You don't have to search for enemies to find your brothers, Vasu. I have them with me."
Hearing this, Vasu commanded his men to silence, stopping their frantic calls to various locations. He had recently heard the name "Kali" on the news and felt a mix of fear and skepticism.
As Vasu was about to respond, the voice cut him off, saying, "And don't try to intimidate me with your words. I know exactly who you are and what your background is, but you don't know who I am. People like you, I've killed before."
The unmistakable sound of his brothers being tortured rang through the phone, confirming Vasu's worst fears. The agony in their voices left no doubt that this was indeed Kali, the one person who seemed to be completely unafraid of him.
Desperation creeping into his voice, Vasu said, "Ye... yes... just don't do anything to them. Just tell me, what do you want?"
The voice said, "What I want is simple. For each of your brothers, I want 100 crore. So, for all four of your brothers, I want 400 crore. I know you don't have that amount of cash, but that doesn't mean you don't have assets to compensate for it. You have two days to gather the money. I'll call you then, and I expect 400 crore in cash. At that time I will mention place and time."
The call was made by Raj, who knew that Vasu had a lot of money. As a drug lord in Vizag, Vasu had extorted significant sums from many people. One example was Venkata Rao, whose property worth 50 crore was coerced into being sold for a mere 50 lakhs. Raj was well aware that Vasu had the means to arrange such an amount, given his numerous assets around Vizag.
And it's not like Raj would easily let Vasu's brothers go; he just needed a lot of cash for now. He was simply extracting their value before ultimately discarding them.
As the call ended, Vasu stood in stunned silence, realizing the gravity of the demand. He knew Kali wasn't bluffing. Gathering 400 crore in two days was a daunting task. He had no choice but to comply if he wanted to save his brothers.
Vasu didn't have that amount of cash on hand. He was contemplating how he could gather 400 crore in just two days. He had recently paid a large sum for drugs and now only had around 50 crore in cash. He had drugs in stock, but selling them within two days was impossible. As for his properties—clubs, shopping malls, and various construction projects—selling them quickly was also challenging. He needed big buyers who could instantly provide that amount of money in cash.
Knowing this, he and his people frantically began calling all the known contacts who could provide cash in return for his properties. Calls were made to influential businessmen, shady financiers, and anyone with the means to liquidate assets quickly. Desperation was clear in Vasu's voice as he explained the urgency of the situation to potential buyers, offering substantial discounts in exchange for immediate payment.
Even after calling many people, Vasu received poor responses. Most of them didn't have that amount of cash on hand, and even those who could gather 400 crore found it difficult to do so within two days. Some individuals had the required cash but were afraid that Vasu would later reclaim his properties by force, so they refused to deal with him.
After some time, Vasu received a call. "Vasu, I heard you're searching for someone who can give you cash in return for your properties." said the voice on the other end. It was the MLA who had used his connections to transfer Daya to Vizag.

My brothers always cause trouble for me. There's always some problem with them, but what can I do? I love them, and that's why they keep taking advantage of me. Just a few days ago, they were arrested—again. It's always the same story with them. To keep my business running smoothly and to get them out of trouble, I had Daya transferred here, using the MLA's help. That MLA is always helpful in times of need. He helped me this time as well, finding a buyer for my properties. I was very upset when there was no buyer; I thought I was going to lose my brothers.
"Who is this big buyer you're talking about?" I asked the MLA.
"Oh... about that, looks like we're entering the premises," the MLA replied, pointing at the location ahead.
When I saw the gate, I was surprised to see the armed guards stationed around it. As we entered the premises, I noticed even more guards, all fully armed. Seeing this, Daya recognized where we were.
"Brother, I know who we are meeting," he said to me.
Daya and the MLA were seated with me in the car. I wanted Daya to come along because he could be an asset in this kind of situation. He had helped me multiple times before.
Daya said, "His name is Raj Nair. He recently killed Jaidev's brother and that son of a b*tch stole my girl. I'm gonna rip his head off."
The MLA interjected, "Hey, hey, Daya, don't say things like that. If they find out, they'll kill you and everyone around here. I've seen him kill Jitendra's people." Then, looking at me, he continued, "Why did you bring him here?"
I retorted, "How was I supposed to know he knows the person? You didn't mention anything beforehand." Turning to Daya, I said, "Brother, please don't do anything stupid. I want to save my brothers."
Hearing this, Daya kept his mouth shut. He knew he was strong, but he wasn't stupid enough to challenge Raj in his own territory, especially with multiple fully armed guards patrolling the area.
