They sat there for a while, talking about everything and nothing, sharing stories and moments of silence. Raj did his best to distract her from her worries, telling her about his own struggles and how he overcame them.
As the evening turned into night, Saanvi began to feel a bit lighter, her tears drying up. She looked at Raj with gratitude. "I don't know what I would have done without you today."
Raj smiled, brushing a strand of hair away from her face. "You don't have to face this alone, Saanvi. I'm here for you, every step of the way."
They drove back towards the pet cross, Saanvi leaned her head on Raj's shoulder, her hand holding his tightly. Raj drove with one hand, his focus split between the road and the woman beside him. The comforting silence between them was filled with the unspoken understanding of the day's events.
When they arrived at the pet store, Saanvi reluctantly let go of Raj's hand and hugged him tightly. Sensing her lingering sadness, Raj didn't let her go. "Why are you still upset? I'm here with you. Until you smile, I won't let you go. Smile, Saanvi... smile."
Saanvi tried to pull away, a small chuckle escaping her lips as she struggled against his embrace. But Raj's hold was gentle yet firm. Eventually, she stopped resisting and looked up at him, a hesitant smile on her face.
"Don't give me a fake smile," Raj said softly, brushing a tear from her cheek.
Saanvi's lips trembled before she genuinely smiled, a mix of gratitude and relief in her eyes. She hugged him again, tighter this time, feeling the weight of the day lift off her shoulders.
Raj held her close, whispering, "That's better." then he let her go.
With her mood lifted, Saanvi felt a renewed sense of strength. She knew she could face whatever challenges lay ahead, as long as Raj was by her side.
"Ding, you have received 10 destiny points. for making impact on destined girl."
A smirk appeared on raj face when he heard the notification on his mind.
As Raj was driving, he made a call to Pillai, one of his most trusted associates who currently managed their operations in Kerala. "Pillai," ( Pillai and Aiyyar were Raj's first loyal followers which are mentioned in earlier chapters ) Raj said, his voice steady and authoritative, "move to Hyderabad and start establishing legal businesses. Vikas will send you a list of MLAs who are under our control now. Use them as you see fit to secure government contracts. Utilize the capital from our Kerala operations. Aiyyar will handle things there in your absence."
"Yes, boss," Pillai replied promptly. "I will handle it. We already have some connections there. I'll start tomorrow."
Satisfied with Pillai's response, Raj hung up and continued driving.
Raj entered his farmhouse, where a gathering of his men awaited him. Among them was Bittu, who had just been released on bail. As soon as Bittu ( He was the main villain of the movie Julayi ) saw Raj, he stepped forward, gratitude evident in his eyes. "Boss, thank you for clearing my name from the criminal cases. I will never forget your favor."
"Oh, Bittu, you're right on time," Raj said. "You're one of my men now, and I always take care of my people. You have a chance to prove your loyalty." He then explained the first task to Bittu and his men.
Bittu was excited, knowing this was his chance to prove himself and repay Raj for his help.
The next morning, Daya approached Saanvi with a confident smirk. "Saanvi, I've made sure your fiancé will never call you again," he said. "Now that you're single, have you thought about what kind of husband you want?"
Saanvi was terrified of Daya, especially after witnessing how he intimidated Venkata Rao the previous day. She tried her best to avoid him, but Daya was persistent, always finding reasons to talk to her. His presence was suffocating, and she felt trapped.
Suddenly, the gate of the pet cross creaked open, catching Saanvi's attention. Her eyes lit up with hope as she saw Raj entering. Without a second thought, she ran towards him and hugged him tightly. Whispering in his ear, she pleaded, "Raj, please do something. He's here again."
As Daya saw Saanvi running towards him, he mistakenly thought she was coming to embrace him. He struck a pose, arms slightly open, preparing to receive her hug. His heartbeat quickened with anticipation, but his elation was abruptly shattered when she rushed past him and hugged Raj, who was standing just behind him. Anger flared in Daya's eyes as he saw them hugging. Feeling humiliated and enraged, Daya's hand instinctively moved to his holster."
Saanvi, do you know him?" he demanded, his voice sharp and filled with jealousy. Then he looked at Raj and said, "What are you doing here?"
Raj, putting his hand on Saanvi's waist, replied, "I am her boyfriend."
Daya's grip on the holster tightened. "Saanvi, what he's saying true?" Saanvi was a little shocked at first when Raj put his hand on her waist, but understanding that he was doing it to protect her from Daya, she complied with his plan. She nodded in response to Daya's question.
Saanvi was a little shocked at first when Raj put his hand on her waist. She instinctively looked at Raj, who was also looking at her. Understanding that he was doing it to protect her from Daya, she complied with his plan. She came out of Raj's embrace and, without removing his hand, stood beside him, putting her hand on his hand which he had placed on her waist. She looked at Daya and nodded in response to his question.
Daya, controlling his anger and forcing a fake smile, said to Saanvi, "But yesterday, I saved you from that creep fiancé of yours, and now, in one day, you have a boyfriend?"
Raj, maintaining his composure, responded smoothly, "Actually, after you left yesterday, I proposed to her." While talking, without moving his hand, he moved behind her and placed his other hand on her, giving her a hug from behind.
Murthy was terrified, his mind racing with the fear that Daya might kill Raj. He remembered how Daya had pointed his gun at Saanvi's fiancé just for touching her. Daya, visibly struggling to control his anger, said through clenched teeth, "Saanvi, don't get near him. He's a murderer. He recently killed someone, and I have evidence against him."
But then Daya remembered that the only evidence he had was a video footage, and he had deleted it when he received money from Raj.
"About that, I have already told her," Raj said, smiling confidently. Hearing this, Daya looked at Saanvi, who nodded in approval.
At that moment, a phone rang. Daya picked up the call, and a frantic voice on the other end said, "Brother, I need your help. Someone has kidnapped my brothers, and we are still searching for them. I will pay you whatever you want. Brother, help me."
Hearing this, Daya decided to leave. He hadn't found a solution to his predicament yet, and he needed more information before he could destroy Raj and Saanvi's relationship. Moreover, he didn't want to make a bad impression on Saanvi by confronting them aggressively.
As he moved towards his police car, Daya said to Murthy, "Find out how Raj interacted with Saanvi and how she became his girlfriend. Bring me the details. I am going to kill this Raj who touches my Saanvi."
Murthy nodded anxiously, determined to carry out Daya's orders. Daya got into his car and drove off, leaving Raj and Saanvi standing together.
"Thank you, Raj, for helping me. I didn't know how to avoid him. He is very persistent," Saanvi said, her voice filled with relief.
"Oh, don't worry about it," Raj reassured her. "So, what's your plan for today?"
Before Saanvi could respond, Raj's phone rang. He answered the call, "Boss, we have caught Vasu's brother and also managed to rescue Deepti," Vikas reported on the other end.
"Good. Where is she?" Raj asked.
"She's in the hospital for now. She has cigarette burns on her skin," Vikas replied.
"Bring those brothers to our farmhouse," Raj instructed firmly.
"Saanvi, I have to go for now. I will call you later," Raj said abruptly and left.
Saanvi felt a pang of jealousy hearing Raj mention another girl on the call and then leave her so quickly. She stood there, feeling a mix of emotions. Raj had been giving her so much attention, but now he had left her alone. She wondered who Deepti was and why Raj had to leave so suddenly.
Saanvi's mother approached her, concern etched on her face. "Saanvi, don't miss this chance. Raj likes you; that's why he helped you. If he finds another girl, you will lose your chance. There are many girls out there who will willingly follow him. Look at him: he's handsome, rich, and smart. And who will save my daughter from that Daya, who was going to use you as a plaything?"
