As he walked through the portal, he found himself in complete darkness. 'Where...am I?' He couldn't move anymore and knew that he didn't have a body as well. 'I can only...think? This feels weird..' It was as if he only existed as something that only produced thoughts and had no actual physical body.

'But, I can feel...this sensation. Everything's so warm. I feel safe too...' If he could, he would have bawled up and went to sleep. But he couldn't as something had distracted him.

There was a transparent screen in front of him which floated. 'I guess...this is apart of the reincarnation..' He thought to reach out to the screen and touched it. He then input a name that he liked which was something sort of geeky.

He chose male followed by a few more screens. Things like how he wanted to look physically, his eye color, hair color, and more. 'I'm basically making an avatar for myself. Dope...'

He chose 6 as it wasn't too big or too small. 'And I should be done. You really are giving me a second chance here, God. Thank you..' As he thought that and basked in the warmth around him, a light had shown throughout the darkness.

'Did I..die again..?' If he had a head, the light would be positioned above him. 'For some reason, I want to go towards it. Its attracting me...' His eyes had blanked as he followed his thoughts. He slowly started going towards the light and upon reaching a certain point, he felt as if something touched him.

'Hands..?' He could figure out that hands were touching the top of him. 'Am I...no, that can't be it. But, it makes the most sense..' The hands placed a firm grip on him and started tugging.

'I must be...a baby..in the womb of someone. I see..' Just then, the light had fully blinded him which made him wail subconsciously.

"It's a boy! Congratulations!"

He had heard while wailing. 'I'm..born..? I wish...I could see though..' He was back to seeing darkness again, but atleast he could hear and feel things now. "Here you are madam.." The person, a doctor probably, had passed him along into another's embrace.

"My beautiful baby boy.." The one who had held him was a young, beautiful woman who seemed to have been in her golden age.

"Your so beautiful.." He could tell that she was breathing hard and had seemed tired. 'She sounds so lovely. A shame I won't be able to see her face for a while..' The doctor had then came up to the young womans side, saying..

"What would you like to name him?" She continued rocking the baby, giving him kisses on the forehead and nose. "Let's see.." She didn't think too hard on it. "Orion. It's a lovely name, no?" Orion, pronounced, [O Ryan], was a constellation in a stary night.

"Yes. Its beautiful, madam. I'm sure he'll like that.." And like that, he wrote down the name Orion on a paper then went to speak with his colleagues. 'I studied stars and such from a young age. I've always been fascinated in them so yeah, that's why I chose this name..'

"Do you like the name dear? I think it matches with mine, Ari." She kissed his forehead with a deep and loving smile. 'Oh, I like it alright. And you, Ms. Ari, or mom I mean, I hope you treat me well..' He did everything in his power to form a smile to which he did.

Upon seeing the infant barely smile, Ari had became surprised, yet amazed. "Amazing... Thanks, Orion..." He gave a mind nod followed by a sudden drowsiness. 'I need...a nap... Imma have a quick nap, mom...' Giving a mind yawn, he had fully shut down

After that, the doctors did the mandatory things they'd normally do to a newborn baby. Ari had only admired him as they ran their test. It was like her very own bestfriend had been born. The person she loves the most and would do anything to protect.

'You'll do great things in life, Orion. I can already see it...'
