Chapter 408: Athena

I then activated 'hush' on us and put presence on it. You might be wondering, didn't you say using magic will activate the sensors? Yes, but they already know we're here, they can pin-point to a room but not a specific location within the room, so to make it hard for them to track us down. I used my large mana capacity to spread out into an invisible dome bigger than the palace, now it'll be harder to track me down unless you're a god or goddess of magic like Hecate.

The quarters of the Olympians are basically rooms that when opened, it is a new spatial dimension within, just like the concept of my house which I copied from. And they definitely put a lot more securities for the rooms of Hermes and Demeter after knowing our plans, they'll definitely move a part of the items to other rooms, it's not like we won't find it in the original place, but it's easier to find it somewhere else.

We narrowed it down to Athena, Ares, and Hera. Hephaestus got connection with Eliza, they're scared that he'll loosen his defense on purpose. Aphrodite doesn't care that much. Hera's security would be too much, she's the queen of Olympus after all, so that'll leave us with Athena and Ares.

The best lies are the ones that have some truths mixed in them, Loki definitely showed us the blueprints of Olympus which I used dream magic to learn it over and over. Loki's plan was very good, but we sneaked in using other routes that we purposely left out.

Cain and I would head to Athena's room while my bonds would head to Ares'. We had to get there quickly because Loki and Hermes won't take long to figure out which route we're taking, it took us a few minutes but we got there. There was a few enforcers out her door.

It is a simple decorated wooden door with a symbol of olive tree, snake, and an owl. Me and Cain charged in and attack the enforcers, the enforcers expected that and none of them even thought about activating magic, these guys learned about me beforehand. But I charged towards the leader and dodged the other enforcers.

He threw his fist which I grabbed with one hand and used the other to punch him but he did the same to me and held me down. He then kicked me in the gut which made me stumble backwards a bit, he then jumped and did the spin kick to my face. Luckily none of that hurt.

I then inject mana into my gauntlets and let it explode, my gauntlets then released waves of silver particles in a small area hitting the enforcers which then made them move in slow mo. I saw Cain was effected too, so I inject mana into my gauntlets and slap him on the back which made him move normally again.

"Slowing time, that's not a power a mortal should have." he said

"Well this power belonged to a titan anyway." I then got out Helios' sun sword and slashed the leader's hand and used it to opened Athena's door since it won't respond to my mana.

"Let me kick it to make a dramatic entrance."

"Why?" he asked

"Remember our plan? To make a dramatic entrance in front of Athena, duh."

-You are an idiot.- Dabria sighs

I kicked the door down and burst through with Cain, on the other side is Athena who is fully armored standing on this large training ground in front of a large vault.

"Seriously, this is your quarter? Loki's quarter suits you better, lots of books and board games that ends friendship faster than Arion could run."

"You are treating this too casually." Cain grumbled "You may beat Zeus, and he may be more powerful than Athena, but don't get too cocky just cuz you got some fancy powers."

"I see none of you are scared of my shield?" Athena asked and sowed the aegis which has Medusa's head on it. "It should petrify my enemies in fear you know. Though some misunderstand and thought that it'll actually turn them to stone."

"Well cool shield, then."

"I'll make you a deal, Perseus. Join us, I know you are probably one of the last ones, accept the deal and I'll give you what you want."

"You see, God. the one with a capital G, said I can't accept direct help so no thank you. Burglary it is, I like to keep my word. Gotta help my buddy here."

"I'm not your buddy." Cain pointed out

"I know my way around a negotiation Perseus. It's my specialty." Athena chuckled "You accept my deal and you can have MY word that I'll convince God to do whatever you desire. I'm a goddess of warfare, I have the experience. I can even hand you a resume."

Cain sort of have enough of the bullshit and charged in and let me say, he made a fool of himself. My absolute magic control is still a bit hard for me to use, I can use it to not affect my bonds, but not allies like Cain, so he have to resort to melee combat.

He went in and throw in punches many other moves, but Athena just countered all of them, so he took out a sword and swung it at her. She used her spear and easily have the advantage, she blocked his swings and pushed him back with her spears and he slowly backed away and give her more advantages the longer this go on.

With her longer reach with the spear, she easily pinned him and and used it to sweep his legs and point it at his neck.

"Impressive."

"You just stood there and watch, you idiot." Cain groaned on the ground holding the back of his head in pain.

"I mostly use brains, but if I'm forced into a situation where force is necessary, I'm one of the more dangerous Olympians." Athena said

"Well lucky that you're on our side when we're facing Chaos then."
