Meeting Kaido
"So you're saying that while I was away for just a few minutes you just so happened to find and eat a random devil fruit that just happened to lay around in your room?" Yamato looked at Ryu and asked him in disbelief. Clearly not buying his explanation.
"Yup" Ryu answered her with a straight face.
"Sigh, nevermind. If you don't want to tell me then don't." she said. Clearly knowing that it won't do her any good to pry any longer, knowing her brother's attitude.
"However, how do you explain the cracks on the wall?" she went on to ask
" It was a poorly made room?" Ryu answered her with a look that seemed to tell her that what he said was obvious.
"Rrrrryyuuuu..." Yamato growled angrily.
"Ok ok, don't get angry. I promise I'll tell you another time but not right now. I want to keep it a surprise." Ryu answered her
"Fine but you better keep your word. Now hurry up and eat or the food will get cold. I'll feed you." Yamato gave up and said
"Umm, I can feed myself." Ryu replied
"What nonsense. You're still recuperating right now. So hurry up and open wide." Yamato said as she went on to feed him the bowl of rice.

"Now then, how are you feeling?" Yamato asked as she began cleaning up.
"I feel great!" Ryu assured her
"Good, then just rest up for a bit and I'll be back to check up on you later " Yamato said as she got up and got ready to leave
"Hey sis" Ryu suddenly called out
"Yeah?" Yamato looked back and asked
"Can I ask you a question?"
"Yeah, what is it?" Yamato replied
"Do you still want to go out to sea?" Ryu suddenly asked
"Why the sudden inquiry?" Yamato questioned him
"Just curious." Ryu answered
"Well if you must know, there is never a time I don't long to go out to the sea." Yamato replied with a look of longing on her face
"Then would you like to go out to sea with me?" Ryu asked her, catching her by surprise.
"Huh? what do you mean?" Yamato replied
"I'm saying that I also want to go out to sea and I want you to come with me." Ryu replied
"Really? why all of a sudden though? When I asked you before you always said no." Yamato asked him excitedly
Truthfully, the reason why Ryu wanted to go out to sea all of a sudden was in order for him to find and recruit a few relevant characters that he had in mind, by using the information he had about this world. In order to gather himself a strong and powerful crew for the future. However he couldn't just outright tell her that now could he?
"I just thought about it more clearly and felt that it would be fun." He replied
"Well I would be glad to go out to sea with you but you know the old man wouldn't allow it." Yamato said as she showed him the cuffs on her hands
"Then let me speak to him .I'm sure I'll be able to convince him."
"No, are you crazy? You're still recuperating right now besides he'll probably kill you the moment he sees you." Yamato yelled out anxiously.
"Don't worry, I'm pretty strong now. So he probably won't be able to kill me in one blow." Ryu replied
"That's not very reassuring at all!" Yamato said, clearly not believing Ryu.
"Stop worrying, I promise I'll be okay. Just hurry up and take me there." Ryu replied
"but.." before Yamato could continue arguing, Ryu's body suddenly began to transform as his body quickly got covered in golden-orange scales.
"Huh?" Yamato looked at him dumbfounded
"Can you take me there now?" Ryu asked her with a smug look.
"Wait you weren't lying about having eaten a devil fruit?" Yamato asked
"Why would I lie?" Ryu replied, making Yamato feel guilty for not having believed her brother before.
"Well then can we go now?" Ryu asked, quickly waking her up from her stupor.
"Alright follow me." Yamato said as she quickly took and led Ryu out

"Captain Kaido" a random pirate came in and called out towards the towering figure in front of him.
"What is it" Kaido replied as he drank the jug of wine in his hand
"Young master Yamato and young master Ryu request an audience with you." the random pirate said in a trembling voice.
"Really what do those two brats want?" Kaido said as he continued drinking from the jug of wine in his hand
"They just said that they would like to talk to you." the random pirate replied
"Alright let them in" Kaido replied, causing the pirate to feel relieved as they quickly ran out to do what they were told.
Not any sooner Ryu and Yamato came walking in.
"So what do you two want." Kaido lazily asked as he quickly took another gulp from his jug of wine
"We would like permission to leave this island." Ryu casually replied
"Huh? and why do you think I would allow you two to leave?" Kaido asked in a mocking voice
"Because if you do I could make the beast pirates stronger." Ryu calmly replied
"And why do you think I would believe that? You couldn't even get up from a little injury. " Kaido replied disdainfully
"Don't go too far father!" Yamato yelled out angrily as she got ready to attack him
"You have every right to doubt me. However, I'm not same from before." Ryu stated as he quickly transformed into his human beast form as his body quickly got covered in golden orange scales and a white and orange feathered tail grew from behind him.
"Oh!" Kaido got up and said in surprise
"Now let me ask you again. Will you please allow us to leave this island." Ryu asked as he quickly released his newly obtained conqueror's haki. Which in the end was quickly countered by Kaido's own.
"Wororororo..." Kaido laughed out loud in excitement as he fully unleashed his own conquerors haki
"To think that my most useless son would have the qualities of a king." he said out loud
"But even if that's the case, if you want to leave this place you'll have to earn it by the virtue of your own strength." he yelled out loud as he got ready to attack.
"Couldn't have said it any better." Ryu replied as he got ready for the upcoming fight
