After eating so much that I had to pay with mana crystal because 2 gold coins weren't enough man do these girls eat a lot I mean normal it would cost around a gold coin for a meal for a family of 6 in this expensive restaurant when I saw them eat so much I was sorry for the food that they ate, in the end, I walked out to take a walk because they started with deserts man normal commoner family could live with this much money that they just ate for a year or more without working at all! and they ate that much in 2 hours good thing I know how to cook if something comes up I will cook but man this is too much how much food can they put in their abyss that they call stomach but at least they had fun and seams fun found me because I was surrounded by thugs.

Thug1: "Well well well what do we have here hand ower all your crystals"

Thug2: "Come on you don't want your pretty face dead do you now"

Thug3: "World is so unfair how can he have so handsome face and I don't! I am going to peel his face off!" Said the rat-like faced man

So there are actually 20 of them so someone told them that I have those crystals interesting...!... doesn't that mean that they will target Kiyoko too!!.

(3person P.O.V)

You can see 20 men surrounding a tall figure that wears a black coat with a strange black hat that covers most of his face suddenly gin that scared thugs he grabbed the scythe from his back and it changed into a two-bladed one with a blade on both top and bottom and they suddenly grew in size and the tall man started massacring them with nearby guards that were too scared to help the man now standing there with their mouth agape and a hidden knight who was recording from the beginning how other knights just stud there letting thugs attack the man and how the man sliced them all in half in a matter of seconds and sprinted in inhumane speeds towards some direction leaving the massacred thugs behind and how most of the new guards ran away.

"I hope I can make it!"

I opened the door of the restaurant to see blood everywhere Rina fighting 3 thugs and unmoving Kiyoko on the ground in the puddle of blood that moment I didn't know what to do and I heard a voice and everything went black

[WARNING WIELDER IN CRITICAL CONDITION ACTIVATING DEFENSE.....DEFENSE ACTIVATED WIELDER HEALING ..... HEALING ACTIVATED, ENTERING EXTERMINATION MODE... MODE WILL BE ACTIVATED TILL THE TREAT TO THE WIELDER IS EXTERMINATED]

Outside the restaurant hundred mercenaries gathered all armed and ready to fight until they heard a demonic roar that echoed through the whole capital shattering some glass nearby alerting all the residents and veteran hunters and soldiers to recognize this kind of roar it meant the hunt begins but where questioning themself what monstrosity let out that kind of demonic roar that carried death in it.

Back in the restaurant, all fighting stopped after the roar and they looked at the door only to see a man wearing all black his face cowered in mowing shadows alongside his coat and a scythe that looked ominous and his purple-red glowing eyes that screamed death, and said in his deep demonic devoid of emotion voice that scared not only those inside but all those that heard him and said

[PREPARE FOR EXTERMINATION]

In the next second scythe extended beheading the remaining thugs inside before leaving the scared girl that crawled to the girl that was on the floor, the girl was slightly shining the scared girl hugged her tightly as the figure left the restaurant, as soon as it stepped out it was barraged with all sorts of attacks from magic to skills, trowing weapons bombs and so after they stopped the figure only released another roar that cleaned the dust and the fog that was created by so many attacks, and started massacring the mercenaries, the guards wanted to interfere only to be stoped by Yamato that appeared from nowhere.

Yamato: "Attack if you want to die you cant handle this try to catch one of the mercenaries and retreat as far as possible!"

???: "what is that thing!?"

Yamato: "That my friend is defense mode of Amatar something must happen to his wielder, Yoshi keep your troops far away from it it will stop once it destroys these guys in front try to catch any that try to escape we need information someone targeted my sweet Rina!"

Yoshi: "Understood"

Meanwhile, the shadow figure was successfully destroying enemies slicing through them like through the young grass not letting them counterattack, multiple elements were shot from the shadow figure, Yamato put a barrier around them so that destruction doesn't spread too much of course after they cough some escaping mercenaries, soldiers were scared while looking at the one-sided massacre happening, mercenaries were panicking because of a quick loss of their numbers they where losing numbers as quick as the thirst person in the desert was drinking water they were horrified.

After the last enemy inside the barrier was exterminated the shadow figure stopped for a second before releasing another foaf and dispersing into black smoke and its scythe shrunk and flew inside the restaurant.

Rina: "Kiyoko wake up! wake up, please! Sakura do something!"

Sakura: "I am sorry I have no healing skills... look her wound is healing! what is happening"

Rina: "Is that Katsu! why is his light flickering!"

Sakura: "It seems he is healing her, but what was that before what happened to him?"

After the massacre soldiers stormed inside and Yamato picked up Katsu attached him to Kiyoko's necklace and carried her together with Rina and teleported, he placed Kiyoko on the bed and said.

Yamato: "Follow me we need to talk about all this"

Rina obediently followed her grandpa without making a sound she was deep in her thoughts to ask anything once they sat down and Sakura took human form he was bombarded by questions.

Sakura: "Tell me old man what happened to Katsu!"

Yamato: "Well I will have to explain to you Katsu is not just any intelligent weapon just like Sakura he was a weapon wielded by many before Kiyoko and the power that you saw is only a fraction of his true power his true name is Amatar"

Rina: "You mean the legendary Amatar! that you read to me as bedtime stories before the same weapon that severely wounded you in the past!"

Yamato: "Yes that is the one but you don't know most of the truth those books that I was reading to you were shifted and most of the people don't have any idea what Amatar is you can say that he is forgotten in the path of time beside the shifted book there is nothing of the history of it and the battles that occurred only the wielders where memorized and their weapons where shifted yet again you are probably confused why is that as the saying goes the history is written by the winner but not this time.

Sakura: "what do you mean by all this?"

Yamato: "Well you might guess it till now Amatar or now known as Katsu have no memories of the past that are because they were destroyed forcefully."

Rina: "Why that is so cruel!"

Yamato: "That was 1000 years ago Amatar was wielded by one of us Dragonkin named Zeno Isomi he is also known as Aion he was the last wielder of Amatar but he decided to exchange Amatar for a piece with the human kingdom and because they couldn't contain him they gathered best mages from all sides and destroyed his memories making him you can sai brain dead and sealed him in a secret location that was hidden by numerous illusions and forgotten that he ever existed all documents about him were shifted and erased to prevent anyone from finding him."

Rina: "But why his memories? and why give up on your partner and friend for the piece that will last shortly didn't in last 1000 years countless wars happened?"

Yamato: "They sealed him for a reason and destroyed his memories not only because he will probably want revenge but because he had too much knowledge about magic runes artifacts and so on both holy and demonic he was basically you can say as holy as an angel and as demonic as a devil if someone evil would get only a portion of his demonic knowledge nowadays people are too weak from lack of danger to be able to defend too well, I am telling you this so you wouldn't treat him differently like some kind of monster that what you witnessed was known as Wielder defense it activates when Amatars wielder is in life and death situation, I am telling you this because you should keep an eye for danger someone is targeting you and being close to Amatars wielder is the best protection."

Rina: "I understand but I still feel bad after all that he has done for them they lock him up and basically kill his personality they were so cruel towards him for what reason because they couldn't, control him as they liked"

Sakura: "that is so sad I didn't know he suffered so much I was mentally attacked a couple of times the pain was unbearable and it was even worse because as a weapon I had higher mental resistance and couldn't fall unconscious I wanted to die a couple of times but to be mentally tortured until your memories and yourself is destroyed is just inhumane it is worse than death"

Yamato: "Just don't mention none of this to him let him have his life as it is there is no need to bring dark past into his life again and hope that he will remain on our side and fight alongside us I will tell you something you already herd that Humans summoned Heroes they already bring supple of species to the brink of extinction with just thousands of survivors without Heroes and what would happen now that they have heroes they will probably start a war and try to destroy us all but they will need time heroes do become stronger than normal people but learn skills harder so the heroes should be despatched around the time when you finish the academy."

Sakura: "It is always humans! can't they just live on and not make any more wars for no reason just to expand they are like bugs you just can't get rid of them!"

Yamato: "Well storytime is ower Rina please go to bed it is late and tomorrow is your first day in the academy"

Rina: "Right let's go Sakura, good night grandpa"

Yamato: "Good night" 'Good old Amatar I hope that this time you won't be betrayed like last time and live normally.
