Sephiroth Vs. Genesis Vs. Angeal

The sun shone across a very large metal building construct as 3 figures can be seen on top of it.

Sitting on the inner construct of the building, Genesis recites his favourite quotes from loveless with Angeal right beside him.

"Infinite in mystery is the gift of the Goddess,

We seek it thus, and take to the sky,

Ripples form on the water's surface,

The wandering soul knows no rest."

I turned around and face them.

"Loveless, Act 1"

While walking towards them.

Genesis smirks at me and close his book.

Placing it beside him.

"Humph, you remembered."

Getting off from where he was sitting, Genesis looks towards me.

"How can I not when you have beaten it into my head?"

I replied back to him, pointing my finger right at my head.

Right then, I swing my sword forward and took a fighting stance.

Genesis and Angeal also got ready and took on their fighting stance.

Angeal then look towards Genesis and reminded him before facing back at me.

"Don't take Sephiroth lightly."

Both Genesis and Angeal got read to charge forward with their swords in hand.

"Humph, noted"

Charging forward towards me, before jumping right at me I swing my Odachi that I have been using for the past 8 years to block off Angeal's slash.

*Shing* as the both swords collides, sparks flying everywhere as I blocked of Angeal's sword with a backhanded swing.

Knocking Angeal's feet off the air and I swing my Odachi to block off Genesis slashing his Rapier at me.

Genesis did a 360 turn and swings a slash at me again after I blocked off our first clash.

*Shing* more sparks fly off as I block his 360 slash and quickly turn around to slash towards Angeal.

Angeal was jumping towards me again with a wide handed overhead swing with his sword as I slash and block his sword.

Angeal starts to clash against me with multiple swings his sword against my Odachi and I clash against his.

While sensing that Genesis is swinging his sword against me again, I dodge Angeal's sword and turn around to face Genesis and block off his rapier.

*Clash* *Shing* *Clink*

I slash and block both Genesis's and Angeal's attack against me.

Both of stand backed off a small distances from me before rushing in again towards me while slashing at me.

"Haaa"

"Hmm"

I turn to the side and backhandedly block off both attacks while facing them.

Smirking a bit, I put more strength into my arm before swinging it upwards to parry them backwards.

This went on longer as I passively fight and block off against the two of them.

After what seems like 15 minutes of squaring off against the both of them, they are starting to get more serious against me.

Their coordination against me was starting to take form as Genesis was fighting against me while Angeal stayed before him looking for opportunities to catch me off guard.

Finally, Angeal seems to have seen an opportunity and jump towards me with his favourite wide overhead swing as I backed off.

Genesis then rush towards me by jumping at me while twisting and turning his body to gain momentum and slash at me.

With my [Greater Strength], I was already 4 times stronger than a normal adult, so I just parried his Rapier, pushing him back.

Angeal then charges at me with 2 hands holding on his sword and start swinging and attacking me again.

We clash for a while before our sword clash against each other while sparks fly everywhere.

"Ha! Is that the best you can do?"

I snicker at him while leering at him.

With a grunt, Angeal push himself off our clash and back off towards Genesis.

I swing my Odachi and face them again, ready for the next coming round.

"All hail Sephiroth, eh?"

Angeal look towards me while looking at me in awe.

"Angeal, stay back."

Genesis brings up his left hand to ask Angeal to back off a little.

"I will take Sephiroth alone."

Closing his eyes and preparing to get much more serious against me with his devil fruit ability and swordsmanship.

"Genesis…"

Angeal looked at Genesis in shock and wanting him to not get too serious.

"The world needs a new hero."

Holding up his Rapier as he waves his hand on the blade of his rapier to coat them with Sun's energy.

"Humph, come and try."

I look up and smirk at him while looking amused.

"So smug…but for how long?"

Genesis replied in amusement as he charge towards me with his fire coated Rapier.

The fight is now getting much more serious as we attack and defend against each other.

I blocked off this overhead wide swing which broke the metal plating of the building, unable to hold off the force of the swing that Genesis and I were doing.

"Hehe"

We both smile at each other as the fight is getting more intense.

Genesis start attacking me again as I defend passively against him.

'I should start attacking him now that warm up is over…'

After parrying him off his feet, I charge at him and swung my sword towards him only for him to hold his ground and block off my attack.

I stare at him amusedly before doing a backhanded slash at him, pushing Genesis off his feet into the air.

While in the air, Genesis was getting ready against in a fighting stance as I jump off the building towards him and we start a mid-air battle against each other.

This time instead of just passively defending, I also start attacking him while defending off his attacks.

Finally, I did an overhead swing and brought him back towards the building ground.

In the midst of falling back down, Genesis coats his left hand with his Sun's fruit power and throws multiple balls of miniature sun at me.

I dodge a few and slashing apart a few of his miniature sun attacks while preparing for what comes next.

Genesis then clutches his hand while controlling his miniature suns to surround and head towards me.

I start slashing apart his miniature sun but it was overwhelming me as there were too many of them.

The miniature sun formed into a big ball of sun's energy around me as I hurriedly use my Kyū Kyū no Mi powers to form a barrier around me while absorbing the remaining sun's energy.

[Absorption: Barrier]

More and more miniature sun continues to bombard me as my barrier absorbs its energy.

Genesis smirks and gets ready for a bigger attack using his Taiyo Taiyo no Mi.

Angeal look on worriedly and thinking that this is enough.

"Stop!"

Angeal came over to Genesis and pushing down his powered up hand that was charging his Sun power for a bigger attack.

"You will destroy us all!"

Facing Genesis, Angeal sternly warns him.

"That's no way to talk to a hero!"

Due to the adrenaline rush and Angeal's annoyed look, Genesis's powered up hand pulls away from Angeal grip and blast him in his face.

*Boom*

"Arghh…"

Angeal got blasted off and start falling back down onto the building.

Genesis then seemingly notices something was wrong at look towards me.

Finally, I finished absorbing all of Genesis's energy and swings out energy attacks using his own energy as a source.

The energy powered slash strike towards him as he blocks against it but the remnant of my attack chopped off a part of the building.

Genesis then finally lands on the building and quickly slash off the part where I would land on as he jump back, preparing to continue to face against me.

I landed on the building and look at Genesis while the building part was sliding off towards the sea.

Quickly, I slash at the whole building that was still intact as I use the momentum to push myself forward to land back on the intact building.

'Time to get more serious in my swordsmanship'

Coating my blade with the basic Haki, I start attacking Genesis, pushing him backwards while leaving him in awe.

My attacks from the Haki coated blade are slashing apart the building construct like butter as Genesis block and dodge against my attack looking a bit nervous.

The horizontal pole-like building construct was cut apart pieces by pieces dropping on to the sea as I close in on Genesis with my attacks.

{*Sephiroth theme music playing in the background}

Genesis was still trying hard to block and parry off my attacks with his Sun energy coated rapier but against my Haki coated blade and my [Greater Strength], it is useless.

My attacks push him off the ground and the force behind it brought him crashing against the buildings behind him, making him a bouncing man.

Finally he is able get back on his feet as the force behind my attack dissipates.

Still not giving up, he stares at me angrily as he coats his Rapier with more Sun's energy and clashes against me again.

As I only have basic Haki, the empowered rapier filled with all of Genesis's power is able to hold off against my strike.

As we are preparing for another round, Angeal have had enough of it and rush towards us blocking off both our strike with his sword against Genesis and his buster sword against me.

"Angeal…"

I muttered as I got a bit angry at my fight being interrupted.

"Out of my way!"

Genesis with his hot-headedness and adrenaline rushing in his head, empowers his left free hand with the remaining of his Taiyo Taiyo no Mi powers and strike towards Angeal's sword, breaking them to pieces.

The biggest tip of the sword that was broken off flew towards Genesis and nicked off on his shoulder.

"Genesis!"

Angeal worriedly rush towards him as Genesis groan from the pains of being cut on his shoulder.

Our training ground finally could not sustain our powerful clashes, malfunctioned and broke apart as electrical wires all around our training ground flies about.

"Just a scrape…"

Panting from tiredness.

"I will be fine, don't worry."

Angeal still worryingly look on.

"Even if the morrow is barren of promises, nothing shall forestall my return."

Genesis stood back up and picked up his rapier, while walking towards the exit of the training ground to tend to his wound.

Knowing that the fight is over, I also walk towards the exit to inform Chroma of the state of our training ground.
