might as well, I am a sealed evil

as soon as I finished up finalizing the power and rules for the elven princess I paused for a moment, I realized something, I am a sealed evil, I haven't started any evil plots or anything behind the scenes, I don't even have minions.

I sure am failing at this whole evil thing.

let's fix that. I thought to myself as I vanished into my inner realm, appearing atop the grant castle archway that has yet to lead or connect to anything, for some reason.

"my lord, I didn't expect you back anytime soon, any trouble in the physical world?"(old pillar) exclaimed in surprise, her hands fumbling behind her.

"everything is fine there, I'm here to recruit someone to start an evil behind the scenes plot."(Granularr) I told her point blank direct, she would probably be the best person to help in this endeavor.

"perfect!"(old pillar) excitedly exclaimed, dropping the thing she had behind her back and rushing up to me, oblivious to the fact that she knocked her wine bottle off the arch.

"I have the perfect person and the perfect plot!"(old pillar) beamed, stars in her eyes.

"alright, let's hear it."(Granularr) I said, giving her the greenlight.

"there is a new person in the realm, an elven princess, what if we slowly take over as their natural affinity, imagine an entire other race with an intense affinity for darkness, the pillars of earth, wind, and water would be cut short in terms of power, as they are the ones the elves most commonly associate."(old pillar) began, slowly turning to rambling and never-ending sentences.

"or we could infiltrate a guild and take it over, using your servants to run it and giving those you are sealed within access to immense resources, making your life much easier."(old pillar) suggested, an idea that I actually didn't hate or have the risk of starting an all-out war with the other magical pillars, sold.

but the question now, which guild?

"you could take over an adventurers guild, give your sealer an opportunity to grow and train, you're busy here, you can't have them expect you to solve all of their problems."(old pillar) spoke truly, her words making sense.

"find me someone willing to do this, a high ranker in an adventurers guild or a guild master if one's available."(Granularr) I ordered, to which she excitedly nodded and raced off, vanishing into the dark horizon, leaving me alone to stare off into the starry sky.

"hey, God, do vampires exist here?"(Granularr) I asked loudly to those same stars.

[no, why?](God) confirmed and then inquired.

"I'm going to make them, and they are going to serve me and me alone."(Granularr) I informed, to which I got no response for a time, an hour or two maybe, only when the old pillar was nearing did I hear him speak again.

[go for it, but make sure you don't make them too dangerous, but since you're making a new race then I will too, a race to counter them, a balance if you will, make them creatures of the night and I will make creatures of the day](God) accepted, giving me the go ahead, giving me another thing on my very new to do list.

"my lord! I found a guild master! and he's willing to do everything you command, even give you the guild!"(old pillar) yelled, rushing in holding a humanoid shadow in her arms.

"it's true m'lord, say the word and everything is yours!"(guildmaster) exclaimed with pride.

"unnecessary, you shall keep your guild, all I need from you is to accept a girl into your guild and to give her favorable attention, and maybe a little money from time to time, do these and I will reward you, I will increase your rank and the potency of your powers, I might even make you stronger than that, I might make you an entirely new superior race."(Granularr) I told the semi formless shadow, to which he burst out in gratitude, thanking me in excess, accepting becoming a new race as payment, thanking me again for that as well.

looks like I have resources and a candidate for this vampire project sorted, maybe I should do something else.

"my lord, if you're looking for more, you could send a unit to infiltrate the holy temple and spy on them, weaken them, maybe even steal the secrets they keep so hidden and begin collecting knowledge."(old pillar) spoke, her tone one of hope that I would take her suggestion.

"good idea, you will be in charge of that, but why limit our gathering of secrets and knowledge to just the holy women?"(Granularr) I asked, bringing a wide smile to her face.

"I'll begin immediately!"(old pillar) yelled as she dashed away, in search of agents to do that whole spying thing, seems she's finally happy now that's she's out of that endless white space and has something to do.

with that handled for now I called forth from memory the name of the guild master, once visualized I transported myself to him, appearing before him instantly, startling him.

"ready to become something superior?"(Granularr) I asked him, to which I got an excited nod.

suddenly in my office stood before me the ghostly image of my lord, he looked serious and only spoke one sentence.

"ready to become something superior?"(lord Granularr) asked me, to which I could barely answer, I couldn't wait, I was so excited.

"this might be painful, extremely painful, do not worry, I will remove the pain from your memory entirely, now....let's begin."(lord Granularr) said before outstretching his hands, dark black smoke started to slowly flow toward me, entering my body and beginning to run rampant throughout it in its entirety.

my bones cracked and shifted, my skin burned, peeled, and paled, my blood poured onto the ground, burned to ash and blew away, my eyes melted and fell from my face, replaced by vision I never thought possible, my hearing began ringing before being replaced by something a thousand times better.

"you are the first vampire, you must go, build a foundation, create more, encourage secrecy and masquerade, hide yourselves and grow numerous and strong, explore and teach your powers to your descendants."(Lord Granularr) ordered, an order I gladly embraced.

"remember, all of you serve me, all of you exist because of me, you answer to me and me alone, all other vampires answer to you, all vampires obey me, make yourself strong, then make your descendants strong, but I warn you, the girl I am sending to you is marked with my power, do not turn her or feed from her."(Lord Granularr) ordered, to which I also embraced his words once more, hoping to follow them to the letter.

"good, now, I will send her your way, await her and then look over her from the shadows, use it as training, training you will then explore and improve before passing it on to more vampires."(Lord Granularr) said as he began flickering, vanishing soon after, leaving me alone in my office, looks like it was time to plan, I had a lot to do.
