'Why did things have to turn out like this? Why?'
Walking through the airport with her suitcase in hand, the young woman had a bright smile on her face. She had long black hair with bangs and bright blue eyes as well.
One look and you could also tell she was japanese. 'My name is Saki Yoshida and I want to be a hero!' She thought while giving her ticket to the man at the receptionist desk.
He told her she could board and when she nodded and started walking away, he took this chance to take multiple pictures of her backside.
This was all unnoticed by her.
She boarded the plane that had very little passengers. 'My quirk..? Well, it's called, [Camouflage!] Bassically, I can blend in with my surroundings.
Say for example, if I touch a grey wall, my entire appearance will become grey and I'll be able to blend in. The only down side is a loss of stamina though..'
Everyone on the plane watched her as she put her suitcase in the cabin. The plane was very advanced and seemed like a hotel on the inside. 'I was born and raised in America by japanese parents. Ever since I was young, I always strived to be a hero.
Though, my parents never really supported me, they still said I could become one and so, they put me into this school system that would slowly mold me into the ideal hero..'
The pilot soon told the people on the plane that they were taking off. 'I can't wait to me all sorts of new people! I hope they accept me!' The plane soon got in the air. The pilot told them they could roam around if they'd like via the intercom.
"U-Uhm, excuse me ms, but can I have your number?" A timid boy had came up to her. Upon seeing his shyness, she had smiled. "Sure. My names, Saki. Nice to meet you.." She put her hand out for a greeting and he timidly took it. "H-Henry is my name! Nice to meet you too!"
She nodded and undid their hold. She then proceeded to give him her number while saying, "Call me, okay? It'll be fun.." Hearing her words of tease, he became embarrassed and went back over to his friends. She could see that they started smelling his hands, an act that she was used to.
'This always happens. I'm used to it by now..' She didn't want to sound arrogant but she knew of her own self worth. She knew she was very beautiful and that guys would do all sorts of things to be near her.
'But, I've never really loved before. I admire people, but it never goes past that. Love is a concept I can't really comprehend and so, I never think about it or act on it..'
As she thought that, she heard a click. Like everyone else on the plane, they looked up to see a line on the ceiling. That line would split into two and slowly moved away from each other. 'W-Whats happening?! Is the ceiling..opening up?!'
"The first test,...land safely on the island. Further instructions await there.."
The voice on the intercom said. No one could retaliate outloud however as they began to slowly float up. The chairs they say in tucked into the ground as well as things like the bar, pool and more.
The plane was now just an empty hallway, one of which housed people who were about to fly out of. 'W-Were gonna die! I-I can't fly!' She flew out the plane followed by the wind hitting her from every angle. It felt like she was being poked by needles.
'No..' She thought while looking down at the infinite ocean. She was high in the sky now which could have gave her time to think of a solution if she wasn't scared shitless. 'Is this really...the end? Why am I so calm..when deaths right below me..?'
As she free fell, she noticed she was the only person to be going down quicker than others. 'I haven't even lived life to the fullest yet. This isn't...fair. What kind of test..is this?' Just then, she caught a glimpse of something.
It was only a blur but it seemed to be heading towards her. 'Help?' Her hopes had risen which resulted in a smirk. She then felt as if she stopped moving.
She could feel someone's touch, something that surprised her as she didn't expect it to be human.
"Are you okay?" They had asked. She subconsciously had wrapped her arms around his neck and so she looked up at him. He had deep blue eyes and black hair. His looks had proven to be crucial as they calmed her down just like that.
"Y-Yes. Thank you..for saving me..?" The man only smiled and nodded, saying, "Wow, she's beautiful. W-Wait, did I just say that outloud? Sorry.." The man rubbed the back of his head in embarrassment. "Huh? Say what...outloud..?"
For some reason, being called beautiful by this man had made her happy. Though, she didn't want him to be any more embarrassed than she was, so she played it off like he said nothing. "N-Nevermind. Anyways, let's get you to safety, okay?" He pushed her head into his chest and flew off.
'S-So masculine! Amazing..' She could feel AND see that he had the perfect 10 pack. This was only possible with the perfect genetics. 'Not too muscular, not too skinny. He has the physique of something hand made by God himself!'
The man then undid his hand from the back of her head, only for her to see a grey vortex. "You'll be safe. I promise. So please, trust me, okay?" Giving her one last smile, he sat her down in the storm of grey.
Once inside, she could see a huge platform with other people standing on it. Around her, she could see a streak of red. 'Are they,...teachers? That must be it. But if they knew how dangerous this test would be, why'd they make it in the first place?'
Her presence caused all the guys to gather around her. Some said inappropriate things while others just admired her beauty. 'I...don't care about this scene. I...just want to know his name. I hope I'll be able to meet him again..'
And like that, time passed. A yacht soon came and got them all and then they went to an island. From the island, a lot of people had gathered. 'Where..?' She looked around for the man who saved her. 'I just want to say thanks and ask for his name..'
She then spotted him halfway across the beach. He was talking to some random guy. 'S-So far..' She slowly started making her way over him. She tried and yet, she was stopped multiple times by guys who wanted to speak with her. She ignored them though and kept going however.
Those guys 'tsked' then huddled together, only to start saying weird things. 'Almost..' As she was about to reach him, she fell. 'W-What..?' The island was shaking like an earthquake had been happening. "It's good to see that...every single person made it. Congratulations.."
Looking to her right, she saw a huge, black platform with a single person standing on it. She had recognized the voice to be the pilot of the plane. 'Is there..another test..?'
People cursed the man out for what he did, but he ignored them and kept speaking. From his dialogue, she could tell it was prerecorded. Blah, blah, blah, "Free for All.." Those words set everyone off. Some even ran away into the jungle.
'Free for..all? Like, everyone for themself?' She quickly got up and looked at the man who saved her. He was surrounded by a group of people, one of which included a beautiful woman. They spoke a few words before departing. The woman was the only one to stay however.
'So,..they must be a couple... I see then..' She sighed as the woman had jumped away. 'Wait, why am I so down? I don't like him, right? Oh, well. We can still team up hopefully!'
She ran toward him, but before she could shout something that'd grab his attention, she was blown away from him only jumping away.
She, like some other people, had flown into the waters. 'Great..' She sighed as she felt as if she'd never see him again. 'Well, he's definitely getting into the school, Saki, so if you want to meet him again, place in the top 500!'
And with that sort of motivation, she crawled out the water and made her way into the forest. Little did she know however, 5 people were watching and following her, each holding sinister smiles on their faces.
