CHAPTER 7

The next day,Deborah had gone to take her bath,after managing to clean the hall finish.

She was heading back to the hall to carry the equipments, when she bumped into Lucy and the others.

They saw Deborah, and they were all upset with her.

Deborah smiled and greeted, "Good morning!".

But they didn't reply,even Lucy,who hissed and used her shoulder to push her away,so that they could all pass.

Deborah felt sad,as she heard them whispering and going," Foolish girl.

After destroying everyone's life...she's expecting a greeting, nonsense ",one said.

Then Lucy added," She'll pay dearly for her crime".

They left.

Deborah had a dull face on,thinking about what the girls said,"My actions has made everyone to hate me even more".

"Not everyone ",a voice said from behind.

Deborah turned to look and saw a girl,who was also among the others,but different from them.

She went to meet Deborah, and said to her in a friendly way," Don't mind those big mouths,they know nothing.

I know for a fact that Lucy was involved in this...you know what I mean",she smiled at Deborah, who began to show a sign of happiness on her face.

The girl then introduced herself, "I'm Esther.You may not know me too well in this place,that's because I don't make too much friends around", she chuckled.

Deborah liked her very well.

They both chatted together, as Deborah was on her way to be the hall.

Soon,they parted ways," See you soon,I've got work to do".

"OK bye Esther!",they waved at each other.

Deborah had a smile on her face as she walked into the hall.

Not less than a minute,the smiles were wiped off.

"What happened here?!",she shouted.The hall had been messed up again.

All the equipments were scattered abroad, and water was everywhere.

Deborah almost pulled her hair off her head with force,when she spotted Blue,playing with the mop at a corner.

Her face became red.

She marched towards him and began to shout,"Hey!!,Hey Lion?!,what's this?. Why did you make such a mess?

Do you know how I cleaned this place,huh?!"

But it looked as if she was talking to herself.

Blue was still playing with the mop,and it made Deborah mad.

"That's it!,give me that mop!!",she yelled at Blue and dragged the mop.

She was about to walk away,when she noticed the anger in Blue's eyes.

He stood up, growling at her,and moving close to her.

Deborah was afraid.

All she could do was move back and threaten Blue with the mop, "I'm warning you....I can be dangerous with a mop.

So...so..don't come..come any Clo ...clo ...ser", she stammered.

She kept on moving back,until Blue roared and jumped to attack her.

" Ahhh!",she screamed and began to run round the hall with a ferocious lion chasing her.

She had nearly slipped, but able to position herself with the mop.

That's when she realized that she was holding a weapon.

She stopped running,as Blue came closer.

He flinged his claws at her,but couldn't touch her,because of the mop.

"Ha!,now I'll show you",she said,using the mop like a sword to fight Blue.

She was fighting like a real warrior with a real sword.

Blue was unable to catch her quick,because she was mopping his face with the mop too.

She had almost gained her victory, when she slipped and landed on the floor hard.

"Ouch!!",she shouted,rubbing her back.

She rose her head up and became surprised at the way Blue was hopping up and down,with a smile on his face.

Quickly, she understood what he was doing.

He was mocking her.

"Hop all you want lion,I don't care".

It didn't take any minutes, when Blue found himself on the ground too.

He had slipped.

Deborah bursted into laughter, holding her aching back.

Blue was excited, as he stood up and slipped again.

Deborah got up,still looking at Blue,who came close to her with a happy face.

Deborah smiled and stroke his mane,then she asked,"What's your name lion?".Blue began to shake his mane for her to see the colour,but she thought his name was mane.

Until blue directed her to the blue colour bowl and shook his hair again.

That's when she understood.

"Ohh!,Blue!", she exclaimed.

Blue nodded and began to hop round her.

" Haha!,you like to play.Don't worry,we'll play.

But first,let me clean up this mess",she said,bending down to pick the mop and other things.

As she bent down to pick the mop,she noticed some swords and shields that were hinged up on the wall.

"Wow!!.

Cool swords!",she exclaimed enthusiastically, rushing closer to look.

She was admiring the swords.

She saw one that made her even more excited.

It had a blue horse shaped handle,and it reminded her of her grandfather.

She became sad,wishing he was alive to solve all her problems.

Meanwhile, at the King's palace, Old man peter was discussing with the king and some elderly people.

They were talking about Reed."If we don't act fast, Reed will destroy us all",one of the elders said.

Old man peter then said,standing in their midst,"The only way we can silence him for good,is if we get that book,send him back and destroy it".

He sighs disappointedly and says,"If only Agnes had listened to me when I told her to check, the book would have been in our custody. But no...she was too lazy to check.

Now that wretched girl has resumed from where her grandfather stopped",he smacks angrily and sits down.

The king listened to each and everyone of them,and agreed,"Yes..we must collect that book.

And when we do that.....".

The place began to rumble,"...what's that noise?",the king asked,as they all stood up to check.

Behold,demon bats were trooping into the land like wildfire.

People were running up and down for their lives,as the demon bats attacked.

The noise reached the castle,as all the monsters began to troop out to stop them.

The newly warriors,like the prince and others,were to join as well, so as to make their armies strong.

Violence everywhere, non-stop.

The monsters were killing all the demon bats,sparing non at all.

Lucy and the other girls,watched from a window,how the battle was going.

They were horrified.

What feared them the most,was when they saw that some demon bats had manoeuvred their way in.

They were all screaming,looking for where to hide.

Esther,who was among them,shooked her head disappointedly,carried a big stick that was close,and said to them before leaving.

"I rather go and fight for my life than scream for my life to be taken".

She rushed towards the entrance and saw one demon bat,coming towards her.

She didn't hesitate to wipe the demon bat on it's head,beating the day light out of it.

The other girls had no choice but to following her and fight, except Lucy and her friends, who hid themselves.

Deborah and Blue where still in the hall.

They could hear the noise.

"What's going on?",she asked,peeping through a window.

She was shocked to see the demon bats attacking the castle,and she feared.

"This is bad,very bad.

And Reed is not around,oh no!".

As the battle was going on,the main demon bat was hiding close to the castle.

He thought Reed was on the battlefield,and he sneaked into the castle.

The girls that were fighting, spotted the mighty demon bat in front of them,and they had to run.

"Where could the book be?",he wondered, flying round the castle to find it.

Deborah was about coming out from the hall,when she saw the demon bat flying round,and it saw her.

"You...?".

"Oh no!,ahh!",she screamed and tried to lock the big door.

The mighty demon bat,entered inside the hall and shouted at Deborah.

"Where's the book?".

Deborah was trying to run away,but failed,as it threw a poisonous saliva towards her.

She stopped and looked at it.

" Where's the book?".

"What book are you talking about?",she asked,pretending not to know.

The demon was angry at her,and it flinged its tail at her.

But luckily for her,Blue pushed her away and bit the tail of the bat.

The demon shrieked in pain and flinged Blue off his tail.

Blue stood firmly and fired a mighty roar at the demon bat,shaking the whole place.

"Wow!!",Deborah exclaimed.

The demon refused to be moved,as it fired it's saliva at Blue.

Quickly, Blue dodged it,and unexpectedly, he received a wipe from the demon bats tail,allowing him to scatter the shields and swords up,bringing them down.

"Blue?!",Deborah screamed.

The demon bat turned to her direction,looking at her with annoyance.

He began to walk towards her saying.

"Since you've decided not to tell me where the book is... I'll destroy you, get the book, and...all the demons will finally succeed in what we have been planning ",he smiles evilly.

Deborah couldn't defend herself, she was helpless.

Blue stood up from he was.

He saw a sword close to him,and looked at Deborah, who looked at him back,then he used his leg to push the sword with force and roared at the demon bat,who turned to look at him.

Unknown to it that it was a distraction.

The sword passed under the leg of the demon bat,and quickly, Deborah grabbed it.
