"I see you've been busy" Abby said, taking a sip from a cup of tea. The muscular man sat next to her, drinking his tea quietly. Link, Abby and the man sat in the living room. Anny, Lisa and Rena left for a walk trying to let them talk alone.

"Yeah, i guess so" Link said "What're you doing here professor?" Link asked.

"What am i doing here? Is it that strange for a professor to visit her student?" Abby answered smiling.

"I'm not your student yet though, we start our craftsmanship classes next year" Link continued "Even if i was your student, it is a little weird for a professor to visit out of nowhere to be honest"

"Ha!" Abby laughed "You don't hold back do you? Well I really am here only visiting, plus you're not really your average student now are you?" She spoke with a smile "A level 4 mage already at your age? That's incredible"

"Others probably reached Level 4 too, or they will soon" Link smiled.

"Nope, you're the only one" Abby said "Increasing one's level isn't that easy kid. The higher you go, the harder it gets. Others barely reached Level 3, while the ones that did are not even halfway through it yet"

"That makes sense, considering the increase in Exp needed" Link thought to himself. He smiled and looked at the man next to her "You're not going to introduce me?" He said.

Abby looked over at the man. Seeing that he did not react at all, she looked back at Link and spoke "Maybe next time, Link" She said "I heard you're a popular crafter. What was it again? Potions and Scrolls" Abby leaned forward, looking at Link straight in the eyes "Who taught you?"

Link frowned a little as he tried to hide his annoyance. He spoke "Why are you so curious professor? Are you interested in me?" Link said jokingly, throwing a wink her way.

Abby smiled and was about to say something, but the man next to her stopped drinking and finally looked at Link. "Just answer the question!" He spoke with a plain and cold voice.

"Why should i?" Link held back as he spoke with Abby, as she was a professor from his academy. He didn't dare not show her some respect. But this man didn't introduce himself, ignoring Link since the beginning. Link was not familiar with the man and did not care about who he was. "That's my business" Link added.

"A mere Level 4 Magician" The man muttered under his breath, slowly and calmly putting the cup down on the table in front of him and standing up. Seeing this, Link stood up as well.

WOSH!

A hand appeared out of nowhere, grabbing Link's neck. Link looked up, seeing the man now standing in front of him. "What the hell?" Link thought. Confused as to why he did not feel any Mana at all. He usually sensed the distortion of space and Mana when someone teleports, but there was nothing.

They both were standing inside the living room one moment, and the next, they were in a giant hall. The floor, walls and ceiling were made from the same material. It being grey with some patches of white here and there.

Link noticed that he couldn't move at all. The man held him up like he was nothing. His feet not touching the floor.

"Let him go Bax!" Abby appeared out of nowhere. Her face looked serious as she looked at the man.

"We have to get the answers we need out of him before we go back" The man said, looking at Abby. It seemed like he did not even see Link as a threat. Like he was dealing with a rabbit or a small animal, with no worry at all.

Link struggled to move even a finger, but nothing happened. He couldn't even feel his Mana anymore too. "Zero.. what's happening?" Link asked.

<I don't know. It's like you became an average person. There is no trace of Mana in your body>

"What? Zero, do something" Link started to panic. "Is all my progress gone?" He thought. He kept pushing. Trying to use Mana non-stop. "Am i never going back to earth?" He muttered "No!"

"Bax!" Abby yelled. Walking over to the two. "Let. Him. Go!" She said. Emphasizing each word.

"Whatever!" Bax said, turning back to Link. "You're lucky!" He said, seeing that Link had his head down.

"Fuck you" Link muttered. He lifted his head and looked at Bax. His eyes were glowing. "What did you do to me?" Link spoke slowly. His voice was low, but angry. "You took my power.. I'll take yours then" Link spoke. His voice was different.

<100 000 Permanent Mana Points Acquired>

Messages started appearing. Bax frowned at first. Not understanding what Link was saying. That's when he suddenly felt it. His Mana was slowly leaving him. His eyes widened. Throwing Link to the side with enough force to slam into the wall 50 feet away. Although the speed was immense. The wall did not break as Link made a disturbing sound while slamming into it.

Link's consciousness started fading. He barely saw the messages appearing before passing out.

"Bax!" Abby yelled. A giant hammer appeared in her hand. Armor covered her from head to toe as she jumped forward. Vanishing from the sheer speed as she swung.

BOOM!

Bax tried to defend, but his attention was preoccupied with what just happened with Link.

The hammer slammed into him. Runes appeared on the hammer, covering it as it made contact with Bax. It looked like gravity shifted as he flew back, slamming and sticking to the wall.

ARGH!

Bax coughed a handful of blood. He looked up and stared at Link, still shocked.

"Hey.. Abby" He spoke, obviously in some pain.

"Be quiet. I'll deal with you later" Abby spoke as she teleported towards Link.

"Is it possible to take away someone's Mana?" Bax still spoke and asked his question.

"What?" Abby said while taking out a colorful gem. She put it onto Link's chest and watched as it sunk in. "Have you gone crazy?" She turned her head towards Bax after making sure the gem was absorbed without any issues.

"He did that" Bax said "He took away a giant chunk of Mana out of me. It feels permanent too"

"What?" Abby frowned. Teleporting to Bax and removing her spell. He fell to the floor and stayed there. Abby put her hand on top of his chest and closed her eyes. "By the gods" She muttered "I heard of using others to heal oneself (Lifesteal), taking away Mana to fill one's own, but to take other's Mana capacity is unheard of. Is this not something only gods could do" She said, looking at Link.

"Link!" A voice spoke. Link opened his eyes, finding the all too familiar darkness.

"Don't tell me i died!!" Link slapped his forehead "That wasn't how i imagined i would go"
