Not long after he returned home, Link heard a knock.

"Hello Sir" A well dressed man and woman stood outside, behind them servants carried a chest with inscriptions all over it. "We were sent from the palace. This is the gear promised by the king and we need you to fill out a form"

Link invited them inside and told them to set the chest anywhere they pleased. He sat down with the man and woman, learning their names were Gretta and Herald. They worked at the kingdom's administration office, and they needed him to fill out a form concerning the new title he received.

"So what is this exactly?" Link asked.

"Well, since you were a peasant, one with no last name, we need you to write one with other details, like date of birth, place of birth, family members, ect.." Herald explained.

"A last name huh" Link muttered, excusing himself and leaving to speak with his family, seeing if they could think of something.

"How about Solaven?" Lisa said "It sounds cool"

"It sounds like a name a vampire would have" Link said.

"What? What's a vampire?" Lisa asked.

"Nothing!" Link smiled "But it sounds off"

"This is your achievement Link, what do you have in mind?" Anny spoke.

There was a last name Link wished for, but he was not sure if he should pick it. It was the one he had from back on earth.

"How about Zmander?" Link said, looking at their faces for a reaction. His last name was a bit different than the usual ones. Even when he lived back on earth, it still got a reaction from people when they heard it. Although he loved it. Being the only thing his father left him.

"It sounds different" Anny said "If you like it, go for it"

Link smiled and walked over to Gretta and Herald, he told them that he picked a last name and started writing in the paper.

After finishing, Link handed over the form and the two left. "Thank you for your time" They bowed.

"That's finally over with" Link muttered, eyeing the beautiful chest. "Here I come" He smiled and walked over, opening it with enthusiasm.

"Is this the new gear the king gave you as a reward?" Lisa, Rena and Anny approached, looking over Link's shoulder.

Inside the chest was a bracelet. He knew that the chest looked too small for a whole armor and weapon to be inside, so he grabbed the bracelet and wore it, sending Mana into it.

Link thought that it was some subspace item, but he was wrong, as the moment Mana passed through it, something happened. It was like a cheesy transformation scene for some Japanese anime he used to watch. Armor appeared in a flash of light, wrapping itself around Link like a blanket. After a second, the light settled and the armor appeared.

Link read the description and smiled, happy with the armor. He looked at his hands and saw two daggers clenched between his fists. He swung them around, feeling the power in them. "Nice!" Link muttered "Zero, buy the Dual Wield Mastery from the shop"

Link saw this skill a while ago and saved it for when he does get himself the needed weapons, and in no time, he received it and maxed it instantly.

"I need to test this out" Link said, teleporting away. He now stood in a random spot inside a forest. This was the forest near his home. He activated Dungeon Search and successfully found one.

The dungeon this time was more like a mining cave where there were many broken pickaxes and mine carts everywhere, unfortunately for Link though no gems or minerals were in sight.

Walking up the pathway, Link saw some Slimes on the way, a little higher level than the once he's used to. These were bigger with what looks like a mouth shaped from its substance. No teeth or tongue but it appeared to be throwing rocks into the gap using tentacles that protrude from its body. The slime tried to chew but Link was fairly certain that the action did not assist in any way, as the rocks were corroded and turned into smaller and smaller substances inside its body, until they vanished.

<The acid that shapes their bodies seems dangerous. Try not to get hit by it>

"So you're saying i can't cannonball into one of them? Damn it" Link said sarcastically, moving to take cover behind a giant rock. He did not wish to engage yet, as it was his first time seeing that type of Slime. He summoned Zasho and ushered it to approach them.

The moment Zasho got close. One of the Slimes shot an acidic ball at the wolf. It was too fast for Zasho to dodge, and the damage was too severe that Link had to unsummon him.

Link repeated this action multiple times. The poor wolf regenerated countless times, trying its best to adhere Link's orders. What he was trying to do was find out as much as he could about the monster's attack pattern.

He learned that the creature only used some sort of an acidic attack in the form of shooting an acidic ball towards its enemy. It also charges at you, attempting to slam its body into its aggressor, and last but not least was the tentacle swings. And with that, Link started attacking. Using Blink with his AOE attacks, he managed to kill them all. Breaking the core inside their bodies.

The place seemed to be filled with Slimes, but after reaching a dead end, Link found a hole with a ladder, leading towards another floor.

The monsters Link fought against next were giant earthworms and flying insects. With the new gear, Link's attacks and power was at another Level. The Exp he received from each kill was not little in the least. and with the Dungeon having over 50 floors. At the end of it, Link Leveled up 3 times, adding the points into Agility.

Link went back home after that, returning to his same old routine. He felt bored, but this was all he could do. The new academy year was nearing as Link couldn't wait to go back. His reason was not because he missed the academy. But due to all the invites and visits from the nobles and the new attention he did not wish for.

Link hated every second of it, as they all tried to get close to him. His title might have not been that big of a deal, being the lowest one. But the fact that he was a mage, and a powerful one at that, receiving his title from the king directly, made him stand out amongst the rest.

Knock! Knock!

One day, while Link was having dinner with his family. A light knock was heard at his door. Standing up in annoyance. He walked over and opened it, leading to the whole 'will you fuck off' expression to completely drop.

"Hello dear student" A short girl wearing a cape stood in front of him with a muscular man right behind her. "Been a while hasn't it?"

"Professor Abby?" Link spoke as he took a deep breath. "Not her again!" He thought to himself.
