The Top Genius!
After learning the new spells, Link sat in his room. He could not leave and had to create the illusion that he was practicing all that time, he was not sure if people would even pay attention to him that much but he did not want to risk it.
Abby did know that he left to hunt and knew that he was coming back from the forest, or he would not have found her there waiting for him.
Link checked his Skill tab, finding the increase in the needed Mana for The Story of Genes preposterous.

With only 640 Mana Link is not even close to Leveling it up again, but he did experiment, trying to figure out what benefits the second level brought him. Other than Strength, speed, and heightened senses Link tried to injure himself, he cut his arm attempting to create a small wound to take a small sample of blood, but nothing came out.
"What is happening?" He thought, bearing the pain and widening the wound a bit more.
Blood was indeed there, as some came out after making a 10 cm long cut. Link noticed that the blood coming out was not the right amount you would expect from a cut like that, it was barely a couple drops. What freaked him out even more was that his wound started healing with a speed noticeable with the naked eye, he did not need to use his new Heal spell as he planned.
"What the hell is happening to me" Link wondered, his body was changing, making him stronger, but he felt like he's slowly slipping away from being human.

On the third day, Link went to his class, he could not stay in his room any longer and decided to finish the test and start hunting again.
He entered the class, finding Tommy on his desk preoccupied with something, hearing the sound of the door closing he looked up.
"Link, what are you doing here?" He was confused "I can't help with learning the spells, you're gonna have to do that by yourself"
"I've learned the spells, I'm here to show you and finish the test" Link said, walking towards him.
"What?" Tommy muttered, he kept looking at Link, confused.
Link stood in front of Tommy's desk, and cast Mana shield. A transparent sphere covered Link's whole body, it had a hint of blue.
Seeing this Tommy was surprised, he never expected any of his students to learn all 3 spells that quickly, actually he was planning on giving them extra days when they fail to learn all the spells in 5 days. It wasn't something that could be done that quick and he knew it, he only wanted to make them work hard.
Now here he is, looking at a student that claims to have learned all the spells in only 3 days. Even geniuses would have trouble accomplishing the same thing Link had done.
Unbeknownst to Link, he performed each spell to him.
Air boost created a small air current on his feet, while Heal made a part of the body cast on shine in a golden light.
"There, what do you think?" Link asked.
Tommy froze for a bit then spoke "Good, you pass. You may go now and the Academy will contact you with the details of your new class"
Hearing that, Link bowed slightly to Tommy and left, he went straight to the Library, he wanted to look for anything about the Heavenly Deer.

Tommy just stared in the spot Link was standing at, he still couldn't believe what happened. He moved his hand close and spoke to his ring "Professor Tommy speaking, please arrange for a meeting with the headmaster."
"May i ask what it is about?" A voice suddenly came out of the Ring. it was a feminine voice.
"Just tell him I have something interesting I need to report" Tommy said.
"Understood"

Link spent the rest of the day in the Library, he looked through the 'WorldNet' and found nothing, It is the Database of the Magician community, something similar to the Internet but a little less developed.
Even though Link's Access was limited to Level 1, he did not believe a Creature in the lower areas of the forest would be that confidential. Since he found no information, Link moved on, he started reading a Book titled The Legendary Ring, it was a Novel of some sort that he quite liked.
Going back to his room, he noticed his Ring shining.
"Student Link of Toula Village, please proceed to Professor Tommy's class immediately" The female voice spoke, Sending Link into panic.
"What is happening? Did I do something?" He thought as he reluctantly walked.
Upon entering the class, he saw Tommy with a man, he looked like he was in shape underneath his armor, but the color of his grey hair gave away his age.
Link bowed, and waited for them to say anything. He felt a bit awkward as he just stood there with them just looking at him.
After a bit of time the Man said "Hello Link, my name is Frederick, you can call me Fred."
"Nice to meet you sir" Link spoke, looking at the man. From the way Tommy just stood behind him clearly told that Frederick was an important individual.
"I heard that you managed to learn the spells given to you in 3 days, is that correct?" Fred Asked.
"Yes it is" Link answered.
"Would you mind showing me?" Fred had a warm smile, easing Link's worry.
"I don't mind" Link started performing the Skills, he was unsure of what was happening and he could only do as he was told.
"Ok, thank you for your time, you can go now" Fred waved, making Link more confused with his encounter, after getting to his room he started talking with Zero, trying to figure out what was going on.

"What did you think?" Tommy spoke after Link left.
"The Elements and Mana is running through his body perfectly, there is no doubt he did learn those spells." Fred continued "I invented those skills myself, even if they are a mere copy or clones of other similar spells, I did change the Element combination and other details, one would need to learn it from scratch even if he did know the spells I imitated."
"So that means he completely learned them in 3 days?" Tommy asked.
"Not only that, but he perfected them, the Elemental energies are running perfectly and smoothly, one would need weeks of experience by using the spells constantly just to scratch the surface of what he is doing, how did he manage that?" Fred rubbed his chin, thinking.
"We can only presume for now that he's a genius of the top caliber, should we move him to a private dorm and arrange for advanced classes?" Tommy was shocked by what he heard, so he made a suggestion.
"There is no need, giving special attention to someone might not always be a positive thing to do, let's leave him for now and see what he accomplishes." Said Fred.

The next day Link headed out to look for the Light fruit, he failed to find any the last time, and from what Raol told him, Link did not want to get fined for dropping the Mission.
Running around in the first area, Link did not see any creatures, it was like the place had no life at all.
"It got worse" He muttered, feeling depressed.
<Not even the sound of birds or insects can be heard anymore, interesting>
"How is that interesting? I shouldn't have listened to you" Link needed to hunt to get stronger, or he won't even make any progress.
...
After an hour looking for the place with the most light, he found a huge dark brown tree, with the Light fruits hanging from it.
"Finally" Link jumped, picking all the fruits and putting them in his inventory. Earning 12 of them.
The Mission requested 4 of them, so Link will get to keep the rest or sell them.
