"Zero, think of something" Link begged. His urge to kill was slowly overwhelming him, he could feel immense anger and hatred towards everything and everyone, he would try to look away from people as he walked towards the dorms, as an attempt to suppress his desire.

"What do you mean? Why would I feel like this for no reason? I know that Kal is an infuriating bastard but i do not care enough about him or Rafael enough to make me feel this type of hatred" Link really wanted to scream and attack someone, but he didn't. Thanks to the armor that covered all of him including his head, No one noticed the events occurring underneath it.
His eyes became black, his veins were completely visible, bulging out of his whole body while his teeth were razor sharp protruding from his mouth.
"Kill them"
A voice echoed inside Link's head, it was clear.
"Kill"
"Who is it?" Link asked. He was clenching his hand in anger, blood started dripping off of his palm, his nails were getting longer and sharper, breaking the armor and tearing into his skin.
<Detecting Soul Possession>
ARGH!
The same voice screamed. It was so loud Link grabbed his head.
"ZERO?" Link yelled in pain. He was inside his room thankfully. He took his beast soul armor back and crouched on the ground.
<Possession? This is odd>

"What does that mean?" Link asked.
<This is interesting. As you know, The God of Creation created this race to use as a vessel. But he was rejected and lost. His first creation at that time managed to win and have its own will. But you are not a descendant of him but one achieved by evolution.>
"I don't get it" Link frowned, the pain was settling down. He's body was slowly turning back to normal. His eyes got their previous purple color back, his nails, teeth, skin and veins were slowly healing and returning to their old selves. Like nothing happened.
<It means that The God of Creation's soul remnant was still somehow connected to the race. Which explains why the Gods massacred them all.>
"But why now?" Link asked. It has been some time since his evolution.
<I guess it was hiding. Waiting for an opportunity to strike and take control. I think that your anger back then was a trigger, which encouraged it to attempt a hostile takeover.>
Link was silent for a bit "I understand. Were the odd changes it's doing as well?" He asked.
<No, i think that it was your body's way of fighting back. Something activated and tried to suppress it>
"You mean the system?"
<No. The system detected it when it became too dangerous. The reason why it took that long to reach this point was because of that change.>

<Neither you nor i can read the book, only the system managed to scan and create it for you. What i told you about it was an assumption which i still believe to be true, but i think there is more to it than that.>
Link changed out of his clothes and sat on the bed. He kept thinking about the events that just happened, and all the hate that small piece of soul had.
"Why is the God of Creation soul filled with that Level of hatred?" Link thought to himself "He was betrayed and killed, but from the stories Zero told me, he was a tyrant that deserved what happened to him."

"My god" Link was shocked. Messages kept flashing in front of him as he tried to keep up "Level 2 Mage? Wasn't i a Level 2 Mage already? And what is a Tier?" He asked.
<No, you were as strong as a Level 2 Mage, which is why people thought you were. Your Mana pool and the new body you have allowed you to easily fight against Level 2 Creatures and people. But you were not one yet>
"What? I beat Kal didn't i?"
<Kal is a kid, Link. You couldn't fight against the Minotaur, remember? Because that thing was a real Level 2 creature>
"Why did I get 2 Skills and Status Points?" Link asked.
<It is like a reward for reaching Level 2>
"Ok." Link opened his status, and he found something that surprised him.

"Why am i Level 1 again?" Link asked.
<It's just the number that changed, nothing else. It's the Level Up process of the Second Tier.>
"Ok" Link didn't know what to think, everything was happening at the same time. It killed the excitement.
He took a deep breath and opened Shop.
A variety of Armors and weapons appeared in front of him, filling the whole Window with an arrow at the bottom indicating that there were more pages. The equipment had different colors.
Link messed around with it for a bit and he understood what the Colors meant. Each equipment had a type of rarity. And the colors helped differentiate between them.
They went from Grey, Green, Blue, Purple, Gold and Red.
Grey being the normal/common items while Red was the God rarity.
Link clicked on one and he found out that what Zero told him before was true. A new Window appeared. The item he clicked on was the main thing on it, there were it's stats and what defensive properties it had. Link clicked on a Chest armor. As he read through it he found that it was a light armor with a Mana Regeneration stat.
"Cool" He looked down and saw what materials he needed to craft it.

"This is kind of interesting" Link liked the new shop. He looked to the side, seeing Skills.
"Finally" He muttered as he clicked on it.
<3 Skill Points Available>
Link got a message showing how many skill points he had, and under it there was a variety of skills.
He read through them little by little but he figured out that there was nothing he needed in there. They were mostly Level 1 and a few Level 2 Skills he could easily get from creatures.
"Is this it?" Link asked.
<You don't have enough Skill Points for better ones>
"What? You want me to waste my Points in the shop instead of Leveling Up my Skills?" Link continued "And how many times do I have to Level Up to get the powerful ones?"
<Calm down. I told you there is a solution for that, remember? You can buy new Skills and also sell them>
"What?"
Zero proceeded to explain, which have removed all traces of disappointment Link might have had before.
Link could sell the useless Skills he has for a few Points.
Without hesitation he sold all the extra Skills he did not need to the shop, earning 4 extra Skill Points.
"That's it?" Link asked.
<Yes, this is a shop remember? You don't get the selling price for the stuff you sell>
Now that Link looked over the new list, he was happy.
"These are Level 3 Skills aren't they?"
