No Mercy (2)

10 Million more Mana Points vanished just like that. The attack was so powerful that the runes around the castle could do nothing to stop it.

"Zasho!" Link muttered the name of his Beast Soul. A mighty wolf appeared next to him as it howled to the sky. "Go and kill everything you see" He ordered.

Like the wind, Zasho turned and ran in a random direction as it sniffed the air. A guard appeared from behind a building, still disoriented from the shockwave as he held his head while trying to stabilize himself.

Wosh!

Zasho passed by the man and continued ahead. The man looked back confused, but in the next second, his vision turned black as he lost control of his body. It fell to the ground. Without a head.

"You look younger than i expected" A voice suddenly spoke from the Castle. He stood on one of the edges that Link's attack created and stared down at him. He had a long red coat with a crown. He had armor underneath that glowed slightly and on his hip he had a Longsword with some type of runes and inscriptions written on the blade.

"You look exactly as i expected" Link spoke "An arrogant man in his mid thirties thinking he's god due to some mediocre skills"

The man laughed, jumping down from all the way up and landing with a loud smash, creating a pit in the process. He walked out of it and looked at Link one more time, seeing his dead eyes and uncaring attitude, the man smirked and spoke.

"I thought it was going to be some another hero wannabe trash that the Kingdom tricked into coming" The man said, sniffing the air "But i see i was wrong"

"Let's get this over with, I want to leave this shithole of a City as soon as possible" Link said, summoning his armor as he held his daggers tighter.

"No patience huh?" The man said "One last question then"

"Speak!"

"If you're not here to reclaim the City and save those slaves, then why are you here exactly?" The man wondered. He couldn't think of a proper reason for someone like Link to come here.

"Around a year ago, a friend of mine got teleported here. He was tricked by some slaves and brought to the guards, where they robbed, beat and hung him to death" Link explained. "So i'm here to wipe out this City, be it the slaves or you and your guards"

After hearing Link's reason, the man shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know who your friend is, I don't pay attention to every trash that comes here. Especially the ones that get killed instantly"

"Alright, enough talking then" The man grabbed the coat and threw it away, showing his inscribed Armor. He grabbed his Longsword and pointed at Link. "My name is Gabriel. Don't forget to put in a good word for me with the God of Death!!"

After finishing his sentence, Gabriel kicked the ground, sending a shockwave as he blurred for a second, appearing in front of Link with his sword aimed towards his neck.

Link was surprised by the speed, It looked like he teleported instead. Which caught him off guard. He was not prepared for a thug to be this powerful, but that did not mean he couldn't do a thing.

Link is not a talkative person, but he entertained the man for a minute to activate all of his speed skills, making him as fast or faster than Gabriel. He moved his arm, clashing with the sword. Air currents flew everywhere as Link was thrown back. Gabriel did not relent and followed as he sent a barrage of swift attacks. Link had no ground to stabilize himself on as his legs kept creating a path as they slid, unable to stop.

Clang! Clang!

Link managed to block all the attacks, but with each strike, his speed increased, making his stop nearly impossible. He smashed through buildings and walls, breaking everything that had the misfortune to appear behind him. Gabriel had a wide smile on his face as his eyes glowed with joy.

"It has been a while" He muttered. "This is so much fun!!"

"Blink!" Link finally had enough, unable to find a way to stop himself, his only choice was to get away from the man to stabilize. His body flickered, but he found himself still in the same spot, coughing a mouthful of blood.

"Not gonna work body" Gabriel spoke as he continued with his attacks. That bit of confusion on Link's part allowed him to land a couple of strikes in, opening some nasty looking wounds. "I never had any talent with space magic, so teleportation became my weakness. That's why I have these beautiful masterpieces of armor and weapon. It distorts space slightly, making your teleportation spells useless, even doing some damage as a bonus" Gabriel explained as he laughed menacingly.

"You think that's the only skill I have?" Link spoke as blood colored his armor. The Viper Sutra showed its usefulness as it protected him even in his disadvantageous situation, but it needed his full concentration or he'll slip up and get injured again.

Link started naming skills left and right. "Let's see if this works" He said as he started naming all of his AOE spells, turning the terrain into a disaster. The first spell he used of course was Godly Body.

To activate all of these spells, Link needed to provide some of his concentration, which would make his Viper Sutra lacking. But with the few seconds he bought for himself, Link made hell rain down on Gabriel, forcing him to back away.

With the distance created, Link was finally out of his opponent's space distortion, and without hesitation he used Recollection as he vanished from his spot.

"That was close" Link muttered after appearing outside the City. "He's an experienced fighter, and probably at the same Tier or higher than me"

Link was a special case. His speed and skills were a level higher than others. But Gabriel was as fast and most likely stronger than him. That made Link guess his Tier accurately.

Potions appeared in Link's hands as he drank them quickly. His Mana bar was full again and his body was healed and back to perfect condition.

"I need a plan!" Link muttered.

"Coward!!" Gabriel stood in a destroyed area as he yelled into the distance. It was rare for him to meet someone strong, and even rarer when that person manages to stand his ground against him. But seeing Link vanishing, and his inability to locate him with some spells, he felt angry, yelling into the distance.

The City was destroyed. Gabriel realized this after he used a scanning spell to find Link. He could not find a single person alive, be it one of the guards or a slave. This angered him even further, howling to the sky as he cussed at Link continuously.

Zasho followed Link's order with perfection, as he located and killed everyone he found. His nose was powerful. No one managed to escape, even the ones that made it out of the City.

Gabriel stood there for a bit before he flew in the air as he started running around, trying to find Link at any cost. "If i'm going to lose everything, you best make it worth it and not run" He muttered under his breath, scanning the surrounding area.

***

"Alright, let's play!" Link spoke loudly, catching the attention of a figure flying above. Darkness coated the territory, as the moon watched over everything.

"Found you!" Gabriel yelled as he sped towards Link, but what he saw made him frown. "What is that spell?"

Link started sinking into the ground, like he was in quicksand. His figure vanished before Gabriel could make it over, but that did not stop him from launching an attack that destroyed the area.

"STOP PLAYING GAMES AND COME OUT!!" He yelled.

"Ok!" Link appeared from behind him and sent a powerful slash. Using over a million Mana points in the process.

Gabriel tried to block, but the danger he felt made him seize his actions and evade. Link appeared next to him in an instance and started his assault.

God's Area, Death Energy and all his Speed Skills were used as they clashed with each other. With Gabriel no longer having his previous advantage, he got serious, as his expression turned cold.

Link used his Heavenly Steps Martial Art mixed with the Viper Sutra and God of War's Fists. He would block using the Viper Sutra, evade with the Heavenly Steps and strike when he could, which was rarely, using his God of War's Fists.

Even with Gabriel's higher Level, he could barely keep up. No one has as many Skills and Martial Arts as Link after all, he had the advantage in that field.

Injuries started appearing on both of them, but Gabriel's were more serious. He frowned when he saw Link heal as they fought while his injuries kept increasing.

"What is happening?" He thought.

Link was sweating. This was his first time having to go all out against someone. The mental pressure all his Martial Arts and Skills put on him was increasing by the second. But he was certain that Gabriel would end up losing before he ends up exhausted.

He knew this, and so did Gabriel. He knew full well that the result of a fight like this will not be in his favour.

"Damn it!" He muttered, jumping back as he sent a strong blow, forcing Link to take a step back as well. "I did not want to use this curse!!"

Gabriel stared at Link with anger. His skin started to slowly turn grey. His eyes shone in the darkness with a menacing red light with Slits in them. Fur started to grow all over his body. He slashed with his weapon, easily cutting off his boots. He stood on his toes as his foot grew longer, becoming more canine like. His skull deformed as his nose grew with his mouth.

"The fuck is that?!" Link muttered under his breath as he stared at the scene with interest.

<A Werewolf!>

AWOOOO!!

The Armor grew with Gabriel, still covering his body. His hands had long and sharp dark nails holding his Longsword tightly.

"You're dead!" The creature spoke in a deep and demonic voice.

Link took a second to come back to his senses, as this was his first time seeing a Werewolf. He found the concept of a half man half beast back in his previous world cool. But now though, he was worried.

Gabriel stood in place. The pressure he emitted was suffocating, even Link found some difficulty breathing in this creature's presence.

Gabriel finally moved, kicking the ground sending it in the air. A giant pit appeared right behind him as he appeared in front of Link.

ARGH!

Link spat a mouthful of blood, looking down at the creature with its hand inside his chest. It protruded from the other side, grabbing onto a pulsating organ. It was Link's heart.

"It's over!!"
