Misunderstanding

"Hey! I told you i didn't mean to peek, i fell over there and jumped in the lake to wash the mud off of me" Link pointed at the small pit created in a muddy spot. Rose, Tris and the other girl looked over, seeing where Link was pointing. They then looked at the good looking boy, making them frown.

"Tris, i think he's telling the truth!" Rose spoke.

"What? You believe that? He probably dug that just in case he got caught" Tris spoke "How could a fall create a pit like that? He's lying!"

"You're quite confident aren't you?" Link said with a smirk. "Why would you think someone would go that far just to peek at your non-existing humps?"

Tris's face turned red. She started pulling Link from his sleeve, heading towards the populated area not too far away.

"Let's go, I'm reporting you to the guards!"

Link sighed as he looked at the girl, then at the place he was in. "Why am I putting up with this shit?" Link thought, pulling his arm free from her grasp.

"Listen, I don't have time for this. Where am I exactly?" He asked, turning to Rose for an answer, completely ignoring Tris.

"This is the Balvan family's outer circle. How can you not know where you're at?" Rose asked.

"Well, i …" Link was about to explain when Tris cut him off, yelling.

"Because he's lying, Rose. Stop answering the pervert and go get a guard!" Tris said.

Link shook his head, finding it difficult to deal with this girl. He looked over at the third girl in the group and spoke. "You believe me, right?" He asked. But he was surprised to see the girl hide behind Rose.

"Don't talk to her, pervert!" Tris yelled.

Wosh!

Suddenly, 3 figures appear in the sky, landing near them. One was standing on a cloud, while the other 2 had grey wings.

"Master!" The three girls spoke, bowing to the man on the cloud as he stepped off of it.

"What's going on here?" He asked.

"It is not a matter deserving of your attention my lord, we caught a pervert peeking at us while we swam in the lake. We'll take him to the guards immediately" Tris explained with a surprisingly gentle and calm voice.

"A pervert?" The man frowned, looking at Link.

"I already explained i'm no fucking pervert!" Link spoke loudly, trying to clear the situation before it got worse. "I got mud on me, so I wanted to clean myself, jumping in the lake. I didn't know there would be people there" Link explained as he looked at the man. He looked like he held some sort of high position, so getting him to believe his story was more than enough.

"He keeps spouting lies, my lord, please don't listen to him" Tris said.

"Will you fucking stop already!" Link yelled, feeling his patience reaching its end. He was putting up with all of it because he was in the wrong, but due to what he saw back at the Academy, he wasn't in the mood for any of this.

"You dare raise your voice in front of an elder?" One of the men with the wings spoke, approaching Link with determined steps. "You did not even bow, you filthy peasant!"

"Stop!" The lord raised his hand, blocking the winged man. "We're not here for this, we need to find the source of the Mana fluctuation"

"Yes sir!" The two men spoke.

Link heard what he said and thought. "Could he be talking about my Teleportation?"

"You are generous, my lord!" Tris bowed again. "I'll take this trash to the guards immediately!" She said, grabbing Link by his clothes as she started pulling him.

"Will you all fuck off?" Link smacked her hand away as he yelled. He looked at the lord and spoke. "How far is the Rechanguard Kingdom from here?"

"You uncultured frog, how dare you!" The winged man no longer could contain himself as he rushed at Link.

"Shut the fuck up!" Link waved his hand. A powerful wave of Mana pushed the man, sending him flying towards the barn.

Boom!

The building was easily broken, scaring the animals.

Seeing what Link had just done with a mere wave of his arm made the girls take a few steps back. The lord looked at his guard, then back at Link before bowing.

"We apologize for the misunderstanding, Master Mage" The lord's action made the girls freeze from shock. They did not understand what was happening.

"The Rechanguard Kingdom is too far away, if you wish, my family can provide you with a detailed map" The man, named Ken explained. He was the lord of the Balvan family, the son of the patriarch. He was assigned by his father to lead the family, since he was the only son.

"That would be much appreciated" Link said. "The Teleportation array made a mistake, and i ended up here, lead the way please!"

Ken hopped onto the cloud and flew away. What he rode on was a magical item, like the wings, but one of higher quality. Link remembered the golden wings that he saw the royal guards wear. He did some research and found out that the item was too over priced, so he forgot about it.

Wosh!

Link floated in the air and flew right after him. The fact that he was not using any kind of artifact made Tris's heart jump while the guard laying in the wreckage of the barn pretended to be passed out.

"Tris!" Rose spoke in a panic. "I told you to let it go, why did you do that to a Master Mage?"

"How would I know? He looks no older than 17 years old" Tris said. She started breathing a little rapidly.

"Don't worry about it" Link yelled from the sky. "Like I said, it was a misunderstanding!"

Link's words made the girls breathe a sigh of relief. They quickly ran towards the residential area before Link changed his mind.

"Welcome to my home, Master!" Ken welcomed Link with a bright smile as he led him to a large room. They both sat on a couple of couches.

"I've already messaged someone to bring you what you need, they'll bring it as fast as they can!" Ken said.

Knock Knock!

A light knock came from the door, as a beautiful girl carrying a plate with tea and some desert walked in. She wore a fancy dress, unlike what a maid would wear and gently placed the plate on the table.

"Luna" Ken said. "You were quick" He looked at Link and spoke. "Let introduce you to my daughter, Master! This is Luna Balvan, my youngest daughter. She is a Level 3 Mage at only the age of 18" He spoke as Luna bowed slightly.

"Pleasure to meet you Luna, I'm Link!" Link answered with a friendly smile, although on the inside he was thinking something else.

"This sneaky old man!" He thought. "He did not only send a message to bring the map, but also his daughter. What is this, Tinder?" Link chuckled internally.

"The pleasure is all mine!" Luna spoke. Her voice was smooth and gentle. Link couldn't help but think that she was indeed beautiful. Her hair was long with bangs. Her skin was smooth, making her face almost glow. "Can I call you senior?" She said with a flirty smile.

"You can if you wish!" Link smiled. "But i'm younger than you"

Link wasn't sure if she said that to confirm his age or not, but he didn't care less. They posed no threat to him after all.

Luna froze in surprise. She knew that some powerful Mages could control what they looked like, which was why Link's young appearance was not much of a surprise. But after what he said, she was shocked.

"I… I am sorry to ask this, but may I know what Master Link's age is?" She asked.

"I'm 16 years old" He said. "My birthday was last month"

Link did not care about his birthdays, and he especially did not celebrate them, but he still kept track.

"I..Incredible!" Ken muttered, looking at Link with shock.

Wosh!

A light breeze blew around the room, as a man with a long beard appeared. He held a rolled up scroll in his hands as he looked at Link with probing eyes.

"I heard we had a guest, so I came to welcome you myself!" The old man spoke.

"Father?!" Ken stood up, bowing.

Link probed the man as well, trying to discern his Level. He was sure that he either was a Level 5, or higher. "Is he a threat?" Link thought.

<Even if he was of a higher Level. You have the amount of Mana a Level 8 Mage could only hope for>
