CHAPTER 39- MEETING THE RIPPER

Elizabeth nodded calmly. She seemed to know Jia was lying but she pretended that she didn't

"Stop the Livestream" Jia ordered the system

"Details" Jia commanded the system

[ The soul collector skill will allow you to absorb and collect the souls of your victims and use it to improve your level.

Existence concealment skill will enable you to completely erase your energy signature but it doesn't work for those way stronger than you] The system explained

"Common, Let's leave this floor" Jia told them

After getting up to floor 38,Jia had advanced by five levels just by using the soul collector skill

The ripper appeared

It was a tall ,one eyed bony monster with a disfigured body shape. It's body was pale green in colour giving off Zombie vibes

It's eye was humongous and pitch black. It had teeth as long and as sharp as swords in it's horrible mouth

Elizabeth was instantly frightened and hid behind Jia

" What What's that " Elizabeth stuttered

"Vey gal me ve ripperr" It spoke

{They call me the ripper}

It made a ripping motion with it's sharp claws

Jia used the existence concealment skill to hide her energy signature completely

The ripper's eye pulsated violently then it charged towards their direction at breakneck speed

Jia immediately threw a fireball at it

It ate the fireball and burped. It then signalled to it's belly as if wanting more to eat

Jia summoned the Buddha sword body to fight it

The Buddha sword body emitted a golden light and a holy aura

The ripper cackled and made a duplicate of itself

The duplicate charged towards Elizabeth with a grotesque smile

Jia was prepared to protect her but Elizabeth immediately slashed out with the saber she had enchanted

The energy looked mesmerizing as it lopped off the doppelganger's head

It was enraged. A blue light lit up on it's horn and arcs of electricity encircled it

"Where's Feng" Jia looked around with worry

"Transcendence? No that's not right " Damon murmured

Jia then saw Feng transform into his original Draconian form

"Feng! Forget everything! Let's get out of here " Jia yelled.

"No,you told me to protect her" Feng replied firmly

Jia stared around in horror

"Love is sweet" Damon said clicking his tongue

"Listen,now is not the time" Jia said on tenterhooks

The Buddha was gradually losing the upper hand

"System,what does the Phoenix seal do " Jia asked after thinking for a while

[Slows the reflex of any creature for an hour. It is a one time use skill] The system replied

Jia activated the Phoenix seal

The roar of a phoenix was heard.

The ripper began to lose it's speed gradually. The rate at which it dispensed attacks were becoming slower

For some unknown reason, Elizabeth passed out

"Yuki is it you?" Damon murmured with a smile

Jia smiled calmly and infused the Buddha with more mana

She was expending mana at a very high rate but she didn't care

She stared coldly at her other subordinates.

"Attack" Jia spat

The ripper saw that it was surrounded

"Whaut ar yoi dooingg" the ripper said

{What are you doing}

"Nothing much,Just trying to kill you" Jia said casually

It stared at her in horror. It didn't know when Feng sunk his teeth into it's bony flesh

It thrashed around in pain

A brilliant radiance emanated from the nine suns ,blinding it's eye

Feng ripped off it's arm like a piece of paper

Worse still,Feng chewed it's hand right in front of it.

A psychotic smile hung on Feng's face

The ripper was horrified

It screamed and thrashed around

Feng left it alone and it began to gather up more power

Feng spat fire at it and it opened it's horrendous mouth and swallowed it

Nothing seemed to happen and the ripper had a taunting gaze

Suddenly,the ripper started screaming. It rolled around in pain. The taunting gaze on it's face had completely disappeared

"In your next life,If you ever see me,run" Jia said coldly

It looked at Jia with a questioning gaze

"I mean when you meet the god of death. Sadly, you won't be able to meet him" Jia declared

The ripper was looking confused

"Because, I am" Jia said releasing Damon's aura

"Uh that's supposed to be me " Damon said

The ripper's eye widened in shock. It mustered all the strength it had and started to kowtow

Jia was taken aback by the creature's intelligence but she showed no expression as she stared at it
