Chapter 21: roller coasters feeling

After a while longer into the fight, more animals start to come. Soro's mana is running low, even after he pick mana regeneration 2 times during the fight. So he decided to leave after turning all his temporary summons into permanent summons.

There are still more carcasses left behind. But he has no way to store them away. He wishes that he has an inventory or something like in some RPG game. All he can do is to let out a sigh.

But when he looks at the summons around him and a big bear that he is riding on, his mood takes a 180-degree change. From sad to overjoy.

Now he has 2 tier1 bears, 4 tier 1 wolf, around 30 wolfs and around 10 bears as his summons.

Looking at his status:

Soro: level 9.

Talent:

+35% summon the strength

+10% summon moving speed

+50% mana regeneration

Soro feels happy. He is close to level up again to level 10. But when he sees the quest in his system, he turns depressed again. Then he turns to Kiki and asks: "Kiki! Is there a way to find a dungeon?"

"Well! there are 2 ways. The first one is to find a wave of mana that dungeon core release. It happens when a dungeon wants to lure some animal in, to kill. The second one is to find an area with an abnormal environment. Because when a dungeon gets an element, it will affect its environment with the same element.

For example, if a dungeon has a natural element, it will turn its surrounding into a small forest."

While Kiki is talking, a tier 1 wolfs suddenly starts growling and interrupted them. Looking at the reaction of the wolf, it seems like there is a group of animals with similar strength as it.

"Alright, Kiki! You bring the wolves ahead of me and kill them all. I will catch up with you."

"Yes, boss!"

Then Kiki and all wolves start charging in that direction.

A hunter's POV.

"Today is like other days. My fellow hunters and I are coming out into the wood to hunt some big animal. Because of the monthly arrival of the town merchant, is close. So today we need to hunt at least 5 big animals.

The skin will fetch for a good price. The money will go into clothes, cooking supplies, and steel weapons. Like the sword on the waist of the 2 warriors nearby.

Talking about them, I hope that I can have some tier 1 beast meat to eat and become strong like them."

Suddenly, a big wolf jumped out from nowhere. It made everyone panic for a bit. Normally, a tier 1 wolfs is not suppose to be around here at the edge of the forest. It supposes to be hunting in the deeper part of the forest. And then I hear the voice of the 2 warriors.

"Everyone step back! Let us deal with it."

Then everyone calms down a bit and step back as told. Soon, me and everyone turns happy. This might be a good thing. Because 2 tier 1 warriors can kill a tier 1 wolf without getting any injuries.

But while we are celebrating the future meat of a tier 1 wolf, we see 3 more big wolfs coming out after the first 1. The sudden arrival of the newcomer, makes everyone's blood turn cold.

This time, everyone starts to turn around and run without waiting for the leader's order. No one dares to be hesitant. Ignoring the fellow villagers behind, everyone run without looking back.

While running away, I see a few wolves running alongside us. I turn my head left and right to look. And then my fear turns into despair. The last scene that I saw before I met the darkness is, we are surrounded by a pack of wolves.

While riding on my big bear, I start humming a little song and keeping my eye on the system log. I am eager to find out, what will I get this time? Extra tier 1 wolf? Or an extra bear? Or something else?

I don't have to wait for too long. Soon 2 new skills appear in my system skill. After reading the name of the 2 skills, I got shocked. My heart is beating fast.

The sound of:

Can be heard from me.

Because the 2 skills are:
