Trying out new skills!

Alucard decided to try out the new skills he had gotten since he had nothing better to do currently.

"Hmm, Let's go with DRY SKIN!"

Right after activating the skill my whole body became covered in a fish-like skin, it looked ugly and sticky… Without even a minute passing the skin started to dry out incredibly fast.

"WAIT! DEACTIVATE SKILL!... Is this even a skill? It's horrible! I almost died! Maybe this was what caused that stupid walking fish to suffocate to death… Sigh… I guess it would be useful if I go swimming but not now! Definitely !"

"A skill that I will never use.. What a waste." ALucard sighed.

I decided to test the other skills near a puddle with some underground water.[Fish Strong Gills]gave me fish gills around my neck costing me 10 stamina. It's supposed to make it so I can breathe underwater and make my movements underwater even faster.

[Underwater Breathing]is self-explanatory and

[Water Elemental Affinity]seems to be related to magic because even when I tried to control some water something happened. Almost as if I had talent in it now.

To remind you I am a vampire so the thing I specialize most in would be blood. I guess you could say I'm the progenitor of the blood element and can use it best.

Other than that I have no other element I could use. Unless I were to eat being that had the specific element and gain it.

You might wonder how I know this? Well I tried using other elements before and nothing happened! But now when I use water I can feel something so I guessed.

Maybe there's a Water Manipulation skill out there? Perhaps it'll help me use the water element to attack instead of just feeling it around me.

"Anyways, today was a pretty good hunt. Time to sleep!"

[Day 4]

After a good ol nap that lasted about 9 hours since I love my sleep, I woke up to night… yes it seems this forest doesn't really have a change of day and night. Maybe this whole region im at doesn't I don't know.

Another thing to note is that there are two moons, one is red and the other is the normal grey. Is the red one because of me? Damn, I'm special.

I figured today would be a good day to gain some more levels. I feel I should try to evolve or get close to evolving before doing anything. Although I feel I should at least attempt to dig a little into the mountain to feel secure.

Oh well. Time to hunt!

I decided to once again go towards the river again to hunt those walking fishes, since they are easy targets all I have to do is bait them out and let them suffocate.

"Hehehe, this time I'll use myself as bait kekeke."

Alucard then cut himself and let himself bleed a little into the river and then left a trail of blood leading a bit away from the river.

He started to play dumb and act all innocent waiting for something to happen.

Soon a huge green colored walking fish jumped out of the river and started to watch me while I played dumb and acted as if I didn't see it. Then the fish started to run at me full speed!

"Haha! Here you are now, time to run!"

I made it towards the 5th tree before the fish started to suffocate, seeing this I decided to end its life so I actually decided to try something new.

I go up to the dying fish and try to feel for its blood.

"Come on! I'm a vampire so I should be able to do something with blood right?"

Alucard then tries to cut the fish a little, just enough to see it bleed and it works. He is able to play around with its blood, and so alucard uses his blood and makes it go all the way to its brain and it instantly makes the fish's head explode.

"POP"

"Oh? What a cool trick I can do."

"Hmm? What does this do?"

[Helps you manipulate your opponents blood, you have to have their blood first and then you can control it however you like. Doesn't work on stronger targets.]

"That's fair, almost sounds like the noblesse guy that's able to use blood?"

After Alucard killed the fish, he decided to bring it back to base.

"Surprised there is no other creatures around. I'd expect a bird or something to suddenly pop up and steal the fish but whatever."

Just after I said that a big bird flew over me, grabbed the fish, and went flying away! Almost as if it was waiting for this chance.

"WHAT?! Damn bird! Just wait until I catch you. I'm definitely gonna enjoy eating you and sucking your blood!"

But I wasn't able to cry for long as I soon spotted a battalion of ants heading towards me!

"What the hell is that? Are those ants? Those are ants that are all stuck together… WAIT this is horrible! They're going to catch me and eat me slowly! No way! Uaah!"

As I imagined how much suffering I would go through if I were to be eaten alive by millions of ants, I used all my might to run as fast as I could with my 15 agility.

"Where do I even go? If I get to my mountain they'll just destroy it and still eat me alive. Oh right! The River! I bet Ants can't swim in this world, they're just ants after all! Hahahahaha! Time to swim for my life!"

I activated my skills Fish Strong Gills and Dry Skin to let me swim easily in the river as I jumped in while my Underwater Breathing skill let my breath underwater.

"Ahh! They are still jumping in? What are they doing? Can they swim after all?! No… Wait… Yea nevermind they are just stupid…"

Just as I started to freak out the Ants began to drown without even struggling as the ball of Ants dissolved in the River.

"Yup they are just stupid… What's wrong with the monsters in this world? Are the birds the only intelligent beings here? Well, I'll take this opportunity to eat you all!"

The ants struggled but to no avail… Why did they struggle now but not when they were drowning? Whatever… I devoured the ants one by one and after I had eaten more than a hundred ants the rest had been washed all over the river by the strong currents.

More like sucked all their blood but same thing right?

Alucard looked at his status for a moment before realizing something.

"So my stats go up by 100? Well it seems to be the case except for agility which goes up by 10 and vitality that went up by a mere 200. What's with the bloodcore though? When will it ever rank up?" Sighed alucard looking at the bloodcore.

"Can I perhaps see the details on it?" Alucard tried to see the details and surprisingly it worked.

[Blood Core: A core that all vampires have, it is the heart of a vampire and if it is taken out they will die or lose all their powers. A great item for alchemy. If that vampire is strong enough it will be able to regenerate.

Since you are the progenitor you can install a bloodcore in anyone you want and yours will regenerate almost instantly.]

"Hmm, hmm I see. The perks of being a progenitor is really good it seems then huh? Although it didnt tell me how to level it up or anything but i got a feeling it will soon."

Alucard decided to go back and sleep until the next day and then he will go back and catch some more delicious fishes!

What do you think of the story so far? He will be evolving soon and I kinda wanna go offtrack and make a unique evolution for him and find him some people to recruit so he can finally start his kingdom!
