CHP 34: 1st Month...

Jacob, Goku, and Piccolo stood in the distance, their figures clashing in a fierce battle. Energy blasts flew through the air, leaving trails of light in their wake. The three of them disappeared and reappeared constantly, their movements a blur of speed and power...

Goku shouted, launching a wave of blue energy towards his two opponents. Piccolo, noticing the attack, quickly dashing out of the way, as did Jacob.

'Phew!' Jacob thought.

As the battle raged on, each exchange had become more intense than the last. Jacob proving to be a formidable opponent for both of them, using his strength and cunning to hold his own against Goku and Piccolo...

Piccolo, with his quick reflexes and regenerative abilities, proved to be a difficult target. He used his regenerative abilities to recover from each blow, making it difficult for Jacob to land a lasting hit.

Goku, on the other hand, was a force of nature. His attacks and boundless energy made it nearly impossible for Jacob to keep up with it...

As the battle reached its climax, Jacob launched a massive blast of energy, enveloping Goku and Piccolo. The two of them were sent flying, their bodies battered and bruised... However, Jacob had healed soon after, already feeling stronger than he did before.

"That-That was a great match..." Jacob smiled, "You can say that again, it was awesome..." Goku chided. Piccolo, thought looking away from the two, held a small smirk...

They had grown more accustomed with each other over the past month, and each of them growing much more powerful then before...

"Hey, Jacob... Do you think we'll be able to beat those guys coming in a years time?" Goku asked.

However, Jacob didn't respond immediately, "Of course, if we continue like this, we'll definitely win." 

"We've been sparring for a few hours, so far, do you guys wanna continue for another hour?" Jacob added, easing away from that type of conversation.

"Yeah, just give me five me half an hour, I'll be ready to go..." Goku said, falling back to the grass resting...

Piccolo on the other hand just nodded, however, he was still thinking about his situation as a whole. Initially, he was a bit wary of someone being stronger than the person they were supposed to face at first, as well as Jacob's identity... However, even though he was and still is wary, he couldn't dispute the results.

'It's just one month, yet I feel like I've made up, or even surpassed the progress I had before now 10-fold...' He clenched his fists with satisfaction.

Not just him, both Goku and himself have grown to massive heights, and recently, they've picked a few new tricks once they grew this powerful... As their ki heightened, there sense for it grew much stronger, and unlike before, they could actually sense someone's ki.

Not like before they could vaguely tell whether it was someone or not... Regardless of their progress, the weren't the only ones that were training. The rest of the humans had gotten the message, and had been preparing themselves too for the coming threats...

At this moment in time their power ranking goes as follows;

Jacob being at the highest with a PL of 35,674, Goku at 15,684 and finally Piccolo at 14,756...

~Jacob's Pov~

We made it far, and I already feel much more powerful than I was just a month ago. But, over the last month, I've realized something about my powers... Rather, my lack of it. My ki and Chakra energy seems like their holding each other back.

Which has been hindering me lately. Initially I thought it would all mellow out, but it hadn't moved an inch in terms of balance. Actually, I felt as if I was using less than half my energy... Around, 40% of my max, give our take...

In terms of pure raw strength, goku was actually ahead of my by a decent amount, the only reason why I could edge him out, was due to my passive abilities enhancing my defence to a great degree. Piccolo, I could handle relatively well. However, since he was a battle strategist, he could give me some issues.

'This is fucking annoying...' I mumbled in my own head about my situation. Regardless of that fact, they both had grown massively compared to before, and in Goku's case, was likely me beating him enough to trigger minor Zenkais and him naturally adapting mid-battle.

And the same could almost be said about piccolo. I was pushing him harder than goku, which made him keep up in a sense. But myself? At this rate, I'll only fall behind due to my lack of control over my own damn energy...

But, I think I had a solution for it, over the month, I've picked on sensing my own energy. recently, I even felt my own chakra too. And I immediately understood why they were so different compared to each other... While Ki goes through the entire body, including bones veins and such. Chakra flowed through separate parts, which are my chakra veins...

My chakra veins aren't inherently connected to my body the same way ki is and vice versa. But, when when I meditated and tested them both, I realized why they were so different.

Ki in simple terms is just a far more potent energy that chakra is, to a terrifying degree, however, the trade-off with this, is that chakra is far ore moldable in nature, while on focuses of pure strength, the other focuses on sheer versatility, trading off its strength instead.

The two in a sense, opposed one another entirely; However they come from both my body and mind fusing... If I could figure out a way to fuse them, no doubt would I likely lose this nerf I had on myself, and maybe grow stronger...

"Hey, Jacob? Can you hear me? Hello!" I heard Goku's voice shout in my ear. I must have been too deep in my thoughts.

"Yeah Goku?" I had asked, then I remembered we were supposed to train again...
