[Chapter Edits Completed]
Puru looked up at Harihar's upside-down face, his wavy hair falling to the demon's chest. Puru brushed it off with his fingers, silken as they were, and roused himself before making his way to the dresser.
From its drawer, he pulled out the box that the woman had given to Puru when he rescued her child.
"I still have not opened this box." He waved it in front of Harihar. The smaller man stood up and walked over to Puru's side.
"Why not? We must look inside it." He took the box from Puru's hand and began to inspect it with sharp eyes. "May I?" He looked at Puru for permission, to which the dark demon nodded. Harihar then proceeded to click open the box, and his eyes went wide as a green hue shone on his face. He picked up the green stone and turned it around, its reflections darting from wall to wall as he turned it.
"This is emerald," Harihar declared, "and an expensive one."
