The Blade's of destiny

After a few hours of sitting I hear Tanjiro waking up behind me.

"Takeo what happend where am I. Wait is Nezuko ok?" He starts to panick as he looks around everywhere.

"Don't worry uhh brother the man didn't hurt Nezuko that much she'll be okay but I don't know about you."

He lets out a sigh of relief hearing that Nezuko is ok.

"Oh wait you don't remember anything before last night right?" Tanjiro looks at me in realisation.

"It's fine brother I remember bit's and pieces of it las thing I remember is you going to sell the charcoal in the village." He takes another sigh of relief while looking at me.

"Elder brother the man told us that we should go to a place called Sagiri mountain. He said that we'll meet a man named Sakonji Urokodaki who'll help us." He looks at me with confusion it's as if he doesn't know which man I'm talking about then he remembers what had happened and immediately loses his look.

"Oh ok we'll start going there when Nezuko wakes up. Wait how will Nezuko go out in the sun?" The question seemed to be for himself but I knew what to answer.

"Well the man also gave me a wooden box, he said that while it's morning we can put Nezuko in their." Tanjiro looks stupidied at looks at Nezuko and then at the box.

"Was he mistaken, this box could never fit Nezuko inside it."

"Well she can shrink down small enough to fit in the box." He looks at Nezuko in awe and smiles at her.

After a few minutes of small talk between us I hear Nezuko waking up.

We both look to see Nezuko looking as cute as always with her head tilted.

"We should get going now shouldn't we?"He then looks outside while getting up he grunts a liitle tough which worries. I decide to pay no mind to my feelings.

'For Fucks sake not even a week and I'm feeling attached to them.' During my inter monologue Tanjiro goes out and sees it's afternoon.

(A/N I don't think demons burn in the afternoon so in my fics they aren't going to burn.)

"Oh thankgod it's afternoon otherwise we would have to tell the nurse why Nezuko is in a box." while looking outside he sees that the nurse was back so he sits back down.

When the nurse enters Tanjiro tells her about our situation.

"Don't worry man we will be okay."

"I can't just let 3 kids go all alone."

"I'm telling you miss it will be alright."

"Fine if you say so."

The nurse was rightefully hesitant to let us go as well who would just let three kids go all alone in the afternoon.

Soon enough we are outside the Hospital and thankefully Nezuko didn't burn.

"Wait elder brother do you even know where Sagiri mountain is?" I was honestly curious if he did know.

" I know roughly where it is I'll just ask some residents on our way."

With that we set off on our journey to Sagiri mountain. After a few minutes of walking we were outside the mountain and in a weird swamp.

About 30 minutes later we arrive at a forrest filled with trees which makes me even more afraid that we are lost.

Soon enough we are out the forest and near a village.

Upon entering the vilage Tanjiro asks a few locals about the location of Sagiri mountain.

An elderly man tells us the direction which we start to follow. The village is quite large as it was almost night time and we had been walking for 1 and a half hours.

"Elder brother I'm getting tired do you think we can go rest somewhere." I was genuinely tired as my body was too weak for this.

"Sure why not you have been awake since I got home." We start to go around and see if there is any hotel.

Luckily enough we find a small hotel with a nice owner. She let's us stay the night for free because according to her "No child should pay for something they need to survive."

I spent the whole night sleeping but I awoke midnight due to a nightmare.

Tanjiro was sitting beside me and looked at me.

"Takeo are you alright?"

"It's just a nightmare brother." Hearing this Tanjiro hugs me and starts to cry.

"I'm sorry if I didn't leave I would've been able to protect them. you wouldn't have had to be here." I notice that he was wearing the Hanafuda earings.

He notice me looking at the earings and then looked me in the eyes.

"Hey Takeo if you want you one of the earings I can give you one. After all we both have to protect and save Nezuko." He then takes of his left earings and puts them in my hands.

I look at him in shock as I didn't expect him to give me such important earings because they were not only Yoroiichi but were our family heirloom.

I notice that the earings had no piercing so I look at Tanjiro confused.

He somehow made the earing go inside my ears. Somehow it pierces my ear and I have a sharp pain in my ears.

It didn't hurt to much as soon the pain is gone and the earings are dangaling of my ears.

"Elder brother should we go to find the mountain now I mean I'm not tired anymore and we shouldn't let the nice lady waste her money."

"I think we should I'll tell her that we are leaving lets go." Nezuko who was sitting on a chair looked at us and smiled however much she could with the muzzle.

'I'm honestly surprised no one asked about the muzzle.'

We open the door and go outside barely even two step outside we see the owner.

"Where are you kids going out in the middle of the night."

"Mam I'm really happy that you let us stay here for free but we should get going its 4:15 am we need to get to our destination."The woman looked at us and sighed.

"Huh wait a minutes I can't just let three kids go outside with possible danger unarmed." The woman then went into her room and got out with two small knife dagger hybird.

One's hilt looked like a lion the other's looked like a dragon. The dragon hilted dagger/knife had a dark purple blade while the other had a red blade.

Tanjiro grabbed the daggers and thanked the lady.

"It's alright I did nothing with them anyway. They weren't mine either anyway I got them from a friend."

We go outside and Tanjiro looks at me in the eyes with a serious look.

"Takeo I want you to know that there are very dangerous but to protect yourself and Nezuko I'll give you one of them. Don't just take it out and play with it."

He then gives me the Violet bladed dagger and takes the tiger one for himself.

Who knew that these daggers would be so important to us.
