Chapter 83

People start screaming when they see the torrent of fire hit Harry. Even Dumbledore is worried because he fears that the prophecy will become useless if Harry dies at the hand of a dragon instead of Voldemort.

At the sight in front of her, Hermione starts crying and wants to run away. However, for some reason, she cannot do that. Her legs refuse to move, and her eyes refuse to look away from the arena.

The dragon stops releasing fire, and people can see Harry once again.

His entire body releases steam, and his armor starts to melt. The dragon burns the edge of his face. Jacob used his sword to cut through some of the fire and cut the damage in half. Although he sustained significant damage, Jacob's quick action saved his life.

He has a plan, and to make his plan work, he needs to get hit by the dragon.

The people around the arena cover their mouths when they see the wound on Harry's body. The staff from the Dragon Reserve worked tirelessly to break the barrier but to no avail. They even call a group of Auror and Ward-Breaker.

Hermione releases a relieved breath when she sees Harry still alive. She blinks for a few seconds when she hears Harry start talking.

"The requirements have been met. As the Lord of the Evans house, I command you! Let's open the Vault and show the world our radiance once again! Open the gate of Water! Heal the wounded and protect the innocent! Kindness Drops!"

The people see a symbol appear above Harry's head. The symbol looks like a water droplet. This is the symbol of the Flowing Rune. The symbol shines for a few seconds, and a blob of water appears out of nowhere.

The water slowly descends and hits Harry. The water engulfs his entire body. A couple of seconds later, Harry's body absorbs the water, and his body starts to heal. The burn injury starts to heal, and after a few seconds, all his injuries are gone.

People look at him in awe, knowing that healing an injury from a magical attack is not easy. A normal spell cannot heal burn wounds from a dragon. Dragon's breath has a toxin that prevents most spells from healing the wound, but the Flowing Run easily breaks that toxin and heals his body.

Jacob smiles and moves his hands and legs for a few seconds. He nods in satisfaction as he tests his limbs and finds them working perfectly. He looks at the dragon above him and smiles.

"Let's continue."

He retrieves Harry's wand from his belt. He twirls it for a few seconds, noticing a temporary connection between them. He knows that the wand will work for him.

He flicks his wand, and suddenly a massive eastern dragon appears from the ground. The massive Eastern Dragon bursts forth from the ground at high speed and coils around the Hungarian Horntail's body. The dragon cannot move its wings and fall to the ground.

Jacob uses this chance to jump high and says.

"Open the Gate of Thunder! Strike the wicked and punish them with heavenly wrath! Thunder Runner!"

Another symbol appears above Harry's head. This time it is a symbol of the Thunder Rune. A second later, a massive arch of lightning appeared from the tip of his sword and hit the dragon. The dragon screams in agony as the lightning strikes it.

Jacob uses this chance by landing at the dragon's back and swinging his sword at its wing. While its wing is durable, it is not as durable as the other part of its body.

Before Jacob can cause more damage to its wing, the dragon uses its tail and mouth to break itself from the Eastern Dragon around its body. After breaking itself, it uses its tail to attack Jacob, who is on top of its body.

Reacting swiftly, Jacob leaps out of harm's way and lands on the ground. However, as he lands, the dragon opens its mouth and releases a massive torrent of fire.

Thinking quickly, Jacob points his sword at the incoming fire and says.

"Open the Gate of Wind! Blow the impurity of the world and bless us with gentle breeze! The Shredding!"

A massive two-tornado-like blast from the tip of his sword. The two attacks fight each other on equal ground. After a few seconds of intense struggle, both attacks dissipate. After it disappears, Jacob dashes forward.

His legs are covered in winds and lightning to boost his speed. He appears near the dragon in the blink of an eye, but as he appears in front of it, it moves one of its wings to punch him. Seeing the incoming attack, he suddenly says.

"Come, lightning! Bless me with the wrath of heaven! Berserker Blow!"

Jacob's hand glows, and when it hits the dragon's wing, it creates a twelve meters dome of lightning that engulfs both of them. Although the lightning did not inflict significant damage on the dragon's scales, the crack that Jacob made earlier is the gap the lightning needs to do its job.

Jacob uses all his strength to push the dragon, and it works. Slowly, his punch pushes the wing away and creates an opening for him.

"Show the coldness of the Frozen Tundra! Ice Spike!"

Ten massive ice spikes appear above him, and when he moves his hand, the ten ice spikes fly at high speed and hit the Dragon. The scales are strong enough not to let the ice spike pierce them, but it is strong enough to crack the scale.

Jacob did not stop there. He takes a deep breath and says.

"I declare! My name is Harry Potter! The Heir of the Black Family! I call upon the family magic! Guide me! Protect me! Destroy my enemy! Show the world the power of the Black Family! Come, O Star of Heaven! Twinkling Star!"

Some people like Draco Malfoy widen their eyes when they hear his declaration. The Black Family is the oldest family that is still alive in England. People thought Draco Malfoy would be the one inheriting that family, but hearing Harry declaring that he is the heir, they start making a plan. A plan that Lord Malfoy does not like as he has been boasting about his son will be the one inheriting the vast money of the Black family.

The one that seals the deal is that the sky changes. For a few seconds, people can see outer space. They can see countless stars above them, but it changes when they see twenty lights coming from outer space.

That light hits the dragon and creates an explosion each time it hits it.

Because of the explosion, people cannot hear the dragon screaming in pain. Jacob can see his attack destroy most of the scale and leave a large spot where he can see the dragon's flesh. He knows that this is a perfect time to finish the fight.

He takes a deep breath and says.

"I declare! As the Lord of the Evans family to open the First Gate of Heaven! Let its wrath strike earth once again! Furious Blow!"

The sky changes once again. However, it is a dark cloud this time. Dark clouds gather at one spot, blocking the sun from view. The people can hear the sound of thunder above them. A few seconds later, a massive thunderbolt appears from the sky and strikes down the dragon.

The dragon releases a defiant roar, but it only lasts a few seconds before its head falls to the ground, dead.

The arena stays silent for a few seconds before the spectators scream excitedly. People start to chant Harry's name, and once again, he is their favorite. As for Harry, he watches from inside his mind space, looks at his hand, and says.

"Can I do that? Can I use the power of my family magic?"
