Chapter 80

Hey, Lizzy.

Wassup?

What do you want me to talk about? Is there some kind of topic I need to tell him?

Hmmm, you know what? I just got an idea. Tell him that you are his ancestor.

I'm his ancestor? With this body?

Yup. You will be the ancestor of the Evan family. I want you to make your power look like it comes from his family, Potter, Evan, and Black.

Wait. This Harry Potter the heir of the Black family?

Yup. Sirius Black decides to name him his heir, and his mother and father cannot disown him because they are not the Lord of the Black Family. That decision comes from Arcturus Black, and it did not help when he lived longer than all of his children.

I see. Anyway, my next question is, will all my stats transfer over? I don't want to fight a dragon with a malnourished body, you know?

Ah, you don't need to worry about that. Your stats will transfer over. This will be another power the Dark Lord did not know.

Wait. Tell me if I'm wrong, but as far as I remember, the wording of the prophecy is the power that the dark lord knows not. Singular, not plural.

The Fate of this universe makes small mistakes. They put it as a plural and cover it up by giving him power over Love and Luck. The power of his mother's love that protects him from any of the Dark Lord's attacks and the Luck to survive the Dark Lord.

I see. That is good to hear.

Good. Anything else?

Nope.

Great! I will leave you with the details and support you in the background. Go wild with your bullshiting. I need something to do to destress.

Too much work?

Yes! For some reason, an Ork appears at the edge of my Omniverse.

Ork? As in 40k Ork?

Yup. I must destroy a couple of multiverses to ensure the disease does not spread. Lucky for me, it was only a couple of multiverses. Unfortunately, creating a new multiverse takes a lot of my attention.

Good luck, I guess.

Thank you. Your mission starts tomorrow morning.

Wait. What?

You will be transported into Harry's mind at nine in the morning.

Harry's mind? Wait! What about Voldy?

Harry is not a Horcrux on this planet.

That's good. I guess that is all.

I believe in you.

I nod my head and look around for a few seconds. I get out of the alley and go to the main street. This is a familiar street. I'm in Diagon Alley. For now, I need to go to Gringotts. This is a fanon world; maybe Gringott has a side business that lets me get many magic books or even a grimoire.

However, I need to check something. I get back to the empty alley and open my status. Like my previous trip to the Harry Potter world, all the money I store inside my inventory automatically changes into the currency of the world I'm currently in.

Sadly, it changes into one kind of money only. In this world, it only changes into a wizarding currency. It cannot change to USD or GBP, which is a shame. I need Gringott for that service, and they charge quite a lot.

Oh well.

I walk to the Gringott and can see many people inside the bank. It is not as busy as the starting day of Hogwarts, but it is still busy. I wait a few minutes before arriving in front of the teller.

"What do you want?"

"I want to open up a vault and maybe hire Gringott for a service."

"What kind of service?"

"I want books. A lot of books."

The goblin looks me right in the eyes for a few seconds before nodding at me. He presses a button underneath the desk, and a few seconds later, another goblin arrives next to me.

"Follow him. He will take you to the private room. Next!"

I follow the goblin to the back room, where I can see a lot of goblins holding halberds, spears, and swords in their hands while standing there unmoving. My eyes look above them, seeing that most are level fifty or above. The lowest is level fifty-three. Impressive.

We walk to the room labeled two-hundred-fifty-two. I see a goblin wearing a suit and monocles waiting for me as we enter the room. When he looks at me, he says,

"So you are the one who wants to acquire our service?"

"That's right."

"Take a seat."

I nod and take a seat in front of him.

"Tell me your name and what kind of business you want."

"Jacob Shiff and I want Gringott's service in acquiring many books."

"What kind of books?"

"Magical in nature. However, I prioritize Warding magic books and healing magic books. Potion-related books are also appreciated. The higher quality it was, the more money I was willing to pay."

The goblin in front of me nods his head and says.

"Very well. We can do that. However, it will cost you a lot."

"Money is not a problem."

The goblin looks at me as if I'm joking and says.

"We will see about that. For now, let's make your vault. To make a brand-new vault, you need to pay fifty thousand Galleons."

"How much is one Galleon to pound?"

"Five"

Really? One vault cost me two hundred fifty thousand pounds? A quarter of a million pounds. I can buy a house with that kind of money. Especially if this is the same year as the one in canon, I can buy a relatively good house in London. Maybe.

Oh, well.

"Very well."

"Good. Please wait a few seconds."

The goblin gets up and walks to another room behind his couch. A minute later, he returns with a guard carrying a massive box. The guard puts the box on the table and walks away from the room.

"Pour the money for the vault first."

I nod and put my hand on top of the box. A second later, gold coins poured out of my hand. I pour fifty thousand Galleon into the box. The goblin raises one of his eyebrows at the sight before him, but he stays silent.

After a few seconds, it is done. The goblin puts his hand on the side of the box for a couple of seconds and nods. I can see him do something to the box; a second later, what is inside disappears.

"My name is Arnok, and I will be your vault manager. Gingott will take twelve Galleons annually for maintenance fees automatically taken out of your vault. We will take back the vault if your vault stays empty for three years. If you want to reactivate your vault after being empty for three years, you will be fined."

"Fair enough."

"Do you want to store your money now or later?"

"Hmmmm, How many books can you get in… two days? Including today."

"Depend. Depends how much money you are willing to offer."

I nod and pour three million gold coins into the box. Arnok moves his hand and widens his eyes.

"I'm willing to give you three million galleons. For now, I want you to store it inside my vault and when you have a book equal to the amount of money inside that box, I will give it to you."

"Three million, huh? That is a lot of money, you know? You can buy a castle with that kind of money."

"I don't say you need to spend all of them. I will take as many books as you can get. Three million in total? Go for it. Less? I don't mind. However, please don't betray my trust in Gringott. I want to become a long customer, you see? The previous bank betrayed me and I decided to take all of my money from that place."

"Other banks? Who? The Dwarves? Or is it the Human-Made bank in Switzerland?"

"The latter."

"Tch. Of course, they will betray you. You don't need to worry. We will not betray our customer's trust. We have honor."

"I hope so."

I nod and see him make the gold disappear once again. I really need to know what kind of magic they use to do that. I know it was teleportation, but I don't know what kind. I will learn it in my free time and after I get the books from them.

"Anything else?"

"Maybe. Can Gringott get a lot of potion ingredients? I want to buy an ingredient for poison antidotes, flushing potions, and the basic potion that hogwart usually have."

"We can. That is easier than the books. However, some of the ingredients are more expensive than others. Also, how much do you want? Hundred potions? A thousand?"

"I don't mind. Use the money I just gave you. Make it a hundred potions each."

"Very well. Anything else?"

"Hmmm, can you also buy a trunk that can store all of them and let me brew a potion inside of it?"

Arnok nods his head and says.

"Easy enough. That's all?"

"That is all."

He gets up from the couch and takes out something from his pocket.

"Take this, mister Shiff. This will be your vault key. Don't lose it. If you lose it, you will be fined a hundred Galleon per key you lose. Each time you want to take or deposit money, you need to show the teller this key."

I take the golden key and nod.

"Got it."

"Then please leave the office, I need to fill the paperwork of your vault and give it to the ministry."

I nod and walk out of his office. After I got out of the door, one of the guards led me back to the hallway of Gringott. After thanking the guard, I get out of the bank and look around for a few seconds.

What's next? I guess I can buy some supplies. A backup wand will be good, and I also need to see if this place sells some armor. While my current armor is good, it did not have a good defense against magic, as I bought it for the Sacred Games, where we fight using our weapons, not magic.

Let's do that.

Hey guys, Author here.

I have bad news. I work at home and care for my old mother, who cannot do anything independently because of her sickness. I have enough income to pay for our food, rent, and bills (Including the one coming from P@treon), but sadly, my boss says my monthly payment will be delayed until mid-month (around 15-18th March). This isn't good because I need to pay rent on the 5th of each month. The rent is around 72 USD.

Most of the money from P@treon goes to our food and electricity bills.

I don't like to ask for this, but if you guys have some spare money you are willing to give me, you can do it to my P@ypal.
