Chapter 76

I slowly walk toward the army marching to Lunas, and when I get closer, one of the soldiers quickly stops me.

"Halt! Who are you?! Put away that hood and let us see your face!"

After he says that, I turn and quickly run to the east, away from the hill where the others stay. While running away, my hood falls, and the army can see my face.

"Arrest him! He is Jacob the traitor!"

I can hear the horse riders chasing after me. I take out my wand and twirl it. I conjure a spike made of earth and hear the sound of a dying horse. I did not stop there. I swung my wand above me and summoned a massive firestorm.

I stop, turn around and swing down my wand at the incoming rider. A wave of fire falls on them and makes their horse out of control. Seeing my chance, I quickly ran away.

Where do I need to go? Oi! Lizzy! Where do I need to go?!

A second later, a giant arrow appears in front of me. I nod my head and follow the arrow. While following the arrow, I can feel a slight pain coming from my back. I look back and see they are firing a hail of arrows at me.

I point my wand at my back and quickly cast a Protego behind my back. While my armor can take a good amount of damage, I will not take a chance. I follow the arrow as my shield continues blocking all the arrows coming at me.

I widen my eyes when I see seven horse riders approaching me fast. I look around for a few seconds before my eyes land on the river. I grin a little and use my water rune to the maximum to control the water.

I move my hand and control the water to wash away the riders behind me. I know it will not do much and will only give me a few seconds or a minute at most. Lizzy! How long do I need to run?

I keep running and occasionally cast a spell at my back. Not only the spell I learned from Harry Potter world but also the spell from my rune. Spell after spell is thrown at my enemy, and to my surprise, they keep coming.

While Jacob is fighting a hundred people at the edge of a cliff, the prince and his companion finally arrive at Lunas. When they arrive in Lunas, Haswar is already waiting for them.

"Frey-Frey! Sialeeds! Lyon! You guys are okay!"

Haswar quickly runs at them and hugs them tightly. The hug lasts for a few seconds before she notices someone is missing.

"Where is Jacob?"

"Haswar! We need your help!"

Instead of answering Haswar's question, Sialeeds quickly shakes her big sister.

"Jacob is holding back Godwin's army coming here."

"What?! That silly boy! I will scold him when he returns."

"We need to help him!"

Haswar makes a pained expression before saying.

"Sadly, I cannot do that, Sialeeds."

"Why?! Lunas have their own army."

"Yes. However, they are to protect this holy place. I cannot move them."

"Why?!"

"Because if I do so, Godwin will have an excuse to attack this place."

"And you are willing to let Jacob die?!"

"No! Of course not! However, you need to think about the people who will die if I order them to move out, Sialeeds! Not only from this battle but also from when they decided to occupy this city! As their oracle, I cannot let my people die."

Sialeeds looks at her sister and says.

"And how can this help Jacob?"

"Not directly. The emergency use of this orb will broadcast what it saw to all the projector orbs in the queendom. This will show the world that Jacob is innocent and we can rescue him if he manages to get away."

The prince and his companion walk to the meeting room, where they sit down and wait for Haswar to prepare for the orb.

"Sialeeds, Frey-Frey. Can you come here and give a little bit of your blood?"

They nod their heads and bite their fingers. They then smear their blood on the orb that absorbs it. Haswar nods her head and does the same. A second later, the orb starts to absorb a large amount of mana from the air and shine brightly.

After a few seconds, the light is gone, and the orb starts to float. Seeing the floating orbs, Haswar nods her head and looks at Sialeeds.

"Go ahead. Place your hand on top of it and think of Jacob. You are the one who has the strongest connection."

Sialeeds nods her head and places her hand on the orb. A few seconds later, a hologram of Jacob appears above the orbs. However, the sight of Jacob in front of them is not good. Godwin's soldiers surround Jacob, and the one leading them is Childerich.

Jacob's body is injured, and his sword is drenched in blood. With a lot of bodies on the ground around him.

"Kekekekeke~ It looks like the Ocean has turned into a lake, eh? You cannot do your usual fighting style in this place."

Jacob spat on the ground and said.

"And yet, you still cannot tame this lake."

While the others look at him in worry, Jacob looks to the sky and sees the timer reaching the one-minute mark.

With a grin on his face, Jacob jumps off the cliff, and the orb quickly follows him. However, instead of seeing Jacob splatter on the ground, his entire body turns into mist and disappears. Seeing him disappear, Childerich quickly ordered his men to search the area.

While Childerich is busy ordering his men around, Gizel and Marscal Godwin look at each other for a second before Lord Godwin says.

"We might have a problem."
