The emperor cares about his people. Class "A" Magician who is also the Crown Prince of the Empire. The 3rd Generation of the Royal Family is a carbon copy of their perfect Crown Prince.

Civilians of the Empire never see their Crown Prince cry or enraged.

But the day they witness him being hopeless has arrived.

The Emperor of the Empire is celebrating the 10th birthday of his only grandson. Civilians are excited as today they will witness the powers of Prince Kane.

It is like a coming-of-age celebration. In the Empire, royals are from the magician category. So, this is the time when the royal children show their magic to the world.

But their excitement didn't last long.

Crown Prince Sage Eden Cyrus Iqustagia is a handsome man with devilish features. His messy blond hair and light blue eyes make him the sexiest man in the Empire. He's a good man with a good heart. He has set his priorities straight.

He is the only son of the Emperor as the Empress died while giving birth to him. She died because of the supernatural power of the Crown Prince Sage. His magical powers could not be able to control from childhood.

To control his overflowing magic, Crown Prince Sage started practicing meditation. When he has control of his magic, he practices other types.

Because of the Empress's Death, Emperor Iqustagia lived in agony for many years. At the age of fifteen, Sage was crowned as the Crown Prince. He starts handling state affairs at that time.

Crown Prince Sage was aware of his father's feelings toward his mother, and he felt sad for him.

But he isn't aware of his father's love for his wife. He uses the Black Magic to communicate with his dead wife. He had a deal with the dark lord to let his wife reincarnate in exchange for his grandson.

The dark lord was the cunning one. He asks for the Emperor's precious things in exchange for his wife's reincarnation. Emperor Iqustagia was so blinded in love with his wife that he promised to deliver his grandson on his 10th birthday.

The day was the happiest and most harmonious. Crown Prince Sage loves his son a lot. Maze, wife of Crown Prince Sage, was sadistic and never felt any motherly love for her son.

She married Crown Prince Sage for her Kingdom to become stable. She loathes him so much that when she finds out about her pregnancy, she's ready to suicide but is stopped by the Emperor.

As the Emperor is blind in his selfish love for his wife, told her to let this baby be born, and in return, he will help her to leave. She accepted his offer, and after the baby was born, she ran away from the Castle with the Emperor's order.

Crown Prince was aware of his father's deal with his wife and let these things happen because he'd never stay with a sadistic person like her.

Prince Kane was the only source of happiness in the Crown Prince's life as he never felt so much love from anyone, not even his father.

During the celebration, Prince Kane was offered sweets by an unknown person, and he ate. The emperor was looking at his grandson, feeling suffocating, asking for help, and he couldn't be able to say anything and then lost consciousness.

Crown Prince Sage with the Noble of the Empire when one of the maids informs him. The emperor was standing still on his spot the whole time. He didn't even move when he saw his only son beg everyone to save his son, but it was too late because he was no more.

Crown Prince Sage is shaking the lifeless body of his son and looking around for help. No one is coming forward. It was the first time he felt helpless. Even his magic is useless.

Emperor Iqustagia is looking at his son and the lifeless body of his grandson. He did not feel an ounce of guilt while looking at his son. Once, the proud man begged the people to save his only son. Emperor Iqustagia turns his heel around and walks to his bed chamber.

Guards are showing the guests the way out. But Crown Prince Sage was still in his position holding his dear son.

It was the last day everyone saw the Crown Prince as a happy and kind-hearted person because afterward, he became cold-hearted, ruthless, merciless, and evil.

As for the Emperor, his wife refuses to come to him on the day of his grandson's death and stops communicating. She told him that if she was aware of his exchange deal, then she'd never accept.

Crown Prince Sage didn't know that because of his father, his son's death. But he's mad at him because he was only standing there and didn't do anything. He has the healing ability, and maybe he could when there is time. The Crown Prince wished to have healing power also.

In a few months, the Emperor's health decreased gradually, and when he was near his death he called for his son.

The Crown Prince arrives at his father's chamber, knocks on the door, and walks inside. His father looks weak. He walks toward his bed and looks at him coldly.

Emperor Iqustagia looked at his son and choked at his tears, "Son, Forgive your father. This old man was selfish to not think about you."

Crown Prince Sage replies, "Great you know that you were selfish all these years, for not caring for me. Anything else?"

Emperor apologized, "Kane. I know who killed him."

Crown Prince Sage looked at his father and growled, "Who?"

Emperor replied in guilt, "Me." He looks at his father, confused.

Emperor continued, "I ask for a favor from the dark lord, to allow your mother to reincarnate and in exchange, I will give him my grandson."
