Chapter 1QEANIA

The year, 1739

Qeania Empire

The whole kingdom was on cloud nine. There are two reasons for their happiness. First, today, Empress Mary and Emperor Frederick had their first baby. Second, she's the second princess of the Qeania Empire after the mother of Emperor Frederick, the current ruler.

Both the new parent's happiness didn't last. Just after a few seconds, the king's right-in-command, James, one of his younger brothers and a loyal one in the whole Empire, enters the Main chamber.

James, "His Majesty, Demon BAEL, is here." Emperor Frederick's face turned pale after hearing the name of the intruder. He looks at his Empress, whose face is as pale as him.

A few months back

At midnight, there was an attack on the Empire. When Emperor Frederick heard the news, he was shocked to take in the fact that dragons were attacking the Empire. But the problem is he saw them and didn't know how to save his people from them.

Emperor Frederick Luis Zeric Qeania is the 30th ruler of the Qeania Empire. He is known as one of the great emperors among his ancestors and a successful one. He is handsome with Dark brown hair and blue eyes. Furthermore, he has two younger brothers, James and Albert. Both had the same hair and eye color. As the youngest one, Albert wants to stay out of state affairs as he wishes to enjoy his life, and as for James, he aims to help his elder brother. He has always followed him since childhood.

Around the Empire

People of the Empire are running for their lives, but the fierce dragons are not letting anyone leave their sight alive. Their roar and the blazing fire from the mouth are something that's scaring everyone.

These creatures are not letting the kids or elderly leave. That's why they are known as dangerous creatures. However, in their attempts to save themselves from the wild animals, their being humans is forgotten. They become so selfish that they never try to help others.

Inside the Castle

James comes inside and informs his brother, "Bro..... His Majesty, they were attacking whoever came in front of them. The soldiers, who were sent to take people to a safe place, were killed by them. They are coming towards the castle."

Emperor Frederick didn't know what to do, and his wife was seven months pregnant. She couldn't be able to help him in this crisis, as he has a habit of discussing matters whenever he feels like the situation is worse. They always come to an excellent solution together.

Emperor Frederick and Duke James were in an in-depth discussion when the mage of the Empire entered the throne room.

Mage Luke has Dark black hair and green eyes. He is wearing a black and gray mage robe and walking towards the king. Mage Luke said while bowing in respect to them, "Greetings His Majesty, Duke James. I heard about the attack. And there is one more thing I want to talk to you and Her Majesty."

Emperor Frederick looked at him confused and said, "The Empress is taking rest right now, and I would like to avoid disturbing her rest."

Mage Luke, "I understand, His Majesty, but it is related to the future of the Empire and your child."

Emperor Frederick stood from his throne chair and asked irritably, "And May I ask what it is?"

Mage Luke replied without any fear, "Please, call Her Majesty. She needs to know because it will be the decision of both the parents."

Emperor Frederick glares at the Mage Luke and orders one of the maids, "Call the Empress. Tell, her presence is of need."

Mage Luke is the oldest mage of the Empire. He is 1200 Years old and still looks like he is in his late 20s. It's not like the mage does not have respect for Emperor Frederick. He respects him a lot, but that doesn't mean he's afraid of anyone from the royal family.

Empress Mary was sleeping peacefully when one of the maids woke her from sleep and said, "Her Majesty. His Majesty asks for your presence in the throne room."

Empress Mary Ivy Zarriet has blond hair and natural eye color. She is a calm and mature Queen, but if someone angers her, be ready for the consequences. Her pregnancy adds more beauty to her with the addition of mood swings. Despite having them, there is no match for her calmness. That's why she is the perfect Queen.

Perfect couple. Successful Emperor and Perfect Empress.

She woke up from the bed while supporting her baby bump and put on the robe that covered her night dress. She did not want to change her clothes late at night, so she said no to her maid for the dress.

As she walks toward the throne room, three maids and two guards follow her. She is aware of the responsibilities of being a Queen. Her husband asks her to take a rest, and when there is some urgent matter, he calls her to the throne room.

When she entered the throne room, the Emperor walked toward her and led her to the throne next to him. She looked around at the nobles present there and the Mage of the Empire.

Everyone bowed their head as a sign of respect to their Empress. When she settled on her seat, Emperor Frederick turned around and ordered, "You can tell us now what you want to, Mage Luke."

Mage Luke cleared his throat. He doesn't understand why he is sweating right now. Like, he is afraid of someone. He took a peek at Empress's baby bump and thought, 'Maybe it's HER.'

Mage Luke apologizes, "Apologies, Her Majesty, asking for your presence now. I informed His Majesty that whatever I want to say is related to the future of the Empire and the Princess."

Everyone smiles as they hear the news. They had one thought. Mage Luke never tells anyone about things like these.

Mage Luke has the power to see the future. There are many times, he helps the Empire when there are wars as he knows how to defeat the enemy. He explains to them what weapons the enemies are going to use. Now he saw the future of the Empire and the Princess. Everyone wondered, 'Her Majesty is carrying the Princess. This means it is good luck for us.'

There was a prophecy about the Princess of the Empire.

"WHEN SHE IS BORN,

TRAGEDY TAKES PLACE.

HOWEVER, HER BIRTH WILL BE BLESSED

WITH THE UNKNOWN POWER."

They believe that whenever the princess is born, she will bring good luck to the Empire. Until now, the Empire had one princess, as she was Emperor Frederick's mother, the first princess to be Empress of the Empire.

Empress Mary asks in an authoritative voice," You can tell us directly, whatever you want to say, Mage Luke.

Mage Luke nodded his head and continued.

" The Empire is facing a crisis right now. The dragons attack the Empire, and we have to save the Empire, or else this will be its ending. There is a solution to save the Empire."

Everyone started murmuring. Empress Mary yelled, "SILENCE. How are we going to solve this?" Mage Luke answered, "There is a way, but…."

Empress Mary cut him and said, "Just tell us the way."

Just learn about how to write dialogues in WebNovel by reading other novels and then you are good. Lorem Ipsum errr, I don't remember the rest so let's move on. The story paints a vivid picture of the world where the action takes place. Through the usage of the tiny elements of the world, the author instantly immerses the reader into the rich in flavour world of his creation. I really hate speaking about the plot as I believe everyone should try it themselves. Despite that, solidly written cliches and relatively standard openings allows me to peer into what possibly this novel have in store. Execution of the further plot is what I'm actually curious about, as I have a feeling that it will exceed my expectations on this one. In the end, I cannot really say much about the story. It's a solid piece of the literature that promises a tasty piece of webnovel down the line. Now it's up to author to live up to the promises his chapters give.

We're off to a very interesting start in the tumultuous kingdom of QEANIA. I really like the ways the characters are presented and the descriptions used in this story alongside the pulling emotional moments that get you immersed. Mage Luke is a personal favorite already. I think with some editing this will be a very high-quality read. Can't wait for more, keep up the great work!

The novel undoubtedly has a great premise and the way author writes makes you even more curious about the story. Although there are numerous grammatical mistakes that make it hard to focus on reading, it's getting better in the latter chapters. Kudos Author!

The story is good; I like historical romances, and the plot and characters in this story are appealing. The author's writing style is good and understandable, but it could use a little editing here and there, nothing major to disrupt the flow of the story. I cannot say further since I only read the first few chapters, but this book has a lot of potential. Best wishes!
