Mason had a hard time focusing on what Trevor was saying as he sat across from him in Mason's office.
All Mason could think about was his wife and how he wants to hold her in his arms and kiss her senselessly. He looked at the spreadsheet on his laptop screen, trying to focus on it and make sense of the numbers in it, his eyes went to the time on the screen, 4:30 pm he should be heading home now.
"Mason, why don't I just leave and you can close for the day, that way we can stop pretending like you are actually listening to what I'm saying?" Trevor asked with a wide grin as he closed the screen of his laptop.
Mason blew out a breath, "I can hear you, run it by me one more time."
Trevor shook his head at him, "no man, I think we should do this another time, you look like you would rather be somewhere else and that place isn't here."
