Princes vs. Princesses

"If it is really fate, does it mean we will be together forever?" "There are people who don't believe in fate but I believed in it just for you." "But I didn't ask you to believe in it." "You didn't but my heart did."

They heard a commotion outside the restaurant after a few moments. Who would not get interested if there are sixteen boys arriving at the mall premises as if they are sort of an artists? Not to mention that all of them are heirs. Gia already informed the owner of the restaurant that they will arrive soon, so they prepared a huge long table for them. The girls were already done with their meals, so they proceeded to the dessert. The youngest one smiled softly when she saw her twin brother approaching.

"How was the match?" She asked, taking a small portion of her lemon cheesecake. She felt a hand taking the fork from her and they saw that it was Hokuto. He ate the cheesecake before smiling at her.

Everyone saw this but a few pairs of eyes landed upon the Third Prince. He adjusted his eyeglasses and looked away instead, taking his seat already. She reached for Hokuto's cheeks and pinched it gently. He winced in pain but he laughed softly after. She saw the waiter approaching, so she excused herself for a while. The two girls narrowed their eyes while watching her talk to the waiter. They don't know what it is all about since they kept their voices low. After that, the girls decided to go ahead. They will just meet again after they finish their meals.

"Yoshino-sama, Hasegawa-sama ordered the food for you already. She reminded me about your food preferences." The waiter said and they were all stunned. He didn't expect that though it was sweet of her. He is not fond of fishes and they will eat in a seafood restaurant, so it is given that those who are close to him know about this.

"Alright. Thank you. I will wait for the food." He smiled and the Second Prince looked at him with a cheeky smile.

"It is nice to have someone who takes care of you, right?" He teased the younger one. Hokuto just shrugged his shoulders and waited for them to finish giving their orders.

It was almost eight when the girls finished with their shopping galore. Gia gently pushed Kazuma to help Lauren put the bags in the backseat of her car. Obviously, she is the one who got the most number of shopping bags. Meanwhile, Itsuki just finished putting Gia's shopping bags inside his car. He offered to drive her home since they found out that her personal driver is out with her father. Makoto went in the car already and waited for his twin sister who is still talking to Hokuto.

"We told you already. Make a move." Kazuma whispered to Sho but he just went inside his car and drove away.

A few weeks later, Royal High started to get busy for the upcoming school festival. Despite the money they have for a luxurious event, they decided for a simple one. The Student Council is the one assigned for the whole event but delegated a part of it to every group. The first group is being handled by the First Prince with Hokuto, Shogo and Rui as the allied members. The second group got the Second Prince with Likiya, Zin and Kenta. The third group has the Third Prince with Makoto, Ryu and Takahide. And then, the last group is led by the Fourth Prince with Shohei, Kaisei and Takuma.

For the first group, Kazuma assigned Hokuto as his right-hand man while Shogo and Rui are the ones managing the resources and funds they are getting from various companies. It is a little different for the second group because Riku decided to let Likiya and Zin handle the main tasks of the leaders and he will be the spokesperson or representative whenever there is a project to work on and then, Kenta is always the one behind the scenes. He is the one to get connections from every negotiation in academic or business matters. As per the third group which is handled by Sho, it can't be denied that the most interesting ideas are coming from him. He got the creative group of the whole high school and most students, even faculty members, are seeking his recommendations. And for the last group, it is the quietest but noisiest group because Itsuki is usually a one-word man while Shohei is the moodmaker. Kaisei has the tasks that will use physical strength while Takuma is the techno-savvy one.

"I heard from Kazuma that there will be a music night." Gia said while walking in the hallways with the two girls. They are carrying a few boxes that the groups will be needing for the school festival.

"There will be two bands to perform and the first one will be from the entertainment industry. They are not spilling any information about the second one." She added and they arrived at the first group's office.

"Where's the other box?" Makoto asked after checking the contents. The boxes were just light since they contained decorations made with papers.

"I'll go back to the storage room." Fuyu said and she quickly left the office. Gia noticed that Sho followed her to the storage room.

"Nii, there's no more boxes here." She said while rummaging the larger boxes but those only contained heavy materials instead. She heard footsteps, so she thought that it was Makoto.

"I think this is the one." Sho mumbled and she froze from her spot. It is their first time to speak with each other. She turned around to leave the room already but she realized that he was too close. She bit her lips lightly and her eyes widened when he cornered her.

"What are you doing?" She whispered while staring deep in his eyes. He took his glasses off and leaned his face closer to hers before leaving a soft kiss on her lips.

"Attend the music night. I will wait for you." He mumbled after the kiss. She gripped on his uniform polo tightly before nodding. She was too surprised with her first kiss and all she can do is to nod.
