Chapter 97: Volcano
Waylen's POV
I had high hopes for the future Emily and I was supposed to share…a beautiful future that I envisioned but now?
No.
Hell no! Nah! nada! Simply not going to happen.
I forced myself to take my gaze of the photograph I was holding, if I stared any longer; I feared my blood pumping organ would stop momentarily to mourn what seemed like an earth shattering loss.
I heard footsteps behind me and quickly placed back the two photos inside my wallet again. Both photos were at last safely tucked away from the bad and awful world.
The footsteps were unsteady and light, like the person was unable to make up their mind about approaching me.
I didn't need a fortune teller to give me hint on who the person might be.
I wished she could leave me alone to think for a minute or two. If possible, breathe in fresh air for like a second.
Sunny appeared in front of me.
