Adventures in Viridian Forest

Trying the 3rd person Pov for first time, so there can be some mistakes, point them out!

Chapter starts----

Morning near the River, a tent could be seen, in the camp Daniel is meditating peacefully but he wakes up because something is poking his face as he slowly opens his eyes he sees Bulbasaur on the ground looking at him with curiosity and a little awareness, seeing this Julian stood up and pated Bulbasaur's head, seeing this Elekid got a little jealous and he comes running toward Daniel asking for a pat, Daniel seeing this chuckles and give him also a pat.

Daniel - "looks like you feel all better now"

Elekid and Bulbasaur nods happily at his words while saying their names, " bulba.. bulba"; " Elekid..kid"

Daniel walks out of the tent and takes his pokemons out for a walk , Bulbasaur and Elekid seeing this were excited.

Daniel "Ok Bulbasaur before we head start our journey lets train a new move today and Elekid you just do some close combat training and meditate afterwards."

Daniel "Ok Bulbasaur come with me"

Daniel and Bulbasaur walks near a tree.

Daniel "Today you are going to learn a new move called Leech seed."

Daniel picked this move for Bulbasaur to learn as this was a rather easy move for it to learn, in a short matter of time, as he had to challenge Brock for the Badge.

Daniel "Try imagining you are collecting energy from your surrounding on your back and then channeling that energy in a seed, then throw it towards your opponent. Ok!?"

After hearing Daniel's explanation Bulbasaur understands it and start to collect energy from his surroundings as he does energy accumulates in his back and making his bud grow a little preparing to shoot and then he starts channel it to form a seed as he tries hard it comes out but it was just a normal seed, seeing it was a very good start Daniel is very happy.

Daniel "You are doing great Bulbasaur, Keep doing your best and you will be able to do in not time."

Being praised by Daniel, Bulbasaur becomes determined and starts practicing again. Julian walks back near the tent and watches his pokemons training and start to think his battle plan with Brock

'Geodude is no problem as I am training Bulbasaur to fight with him but the main problem will be Onix, I don't have a suitable pokemon to face it, Elekid still cannot fight it as his close combat is still weak and his electric type attacks won't do much! , guess I have to catch a new pokemon or I have to continue fighting using Bulbasaur'

Daniel seeing his both Pokemon were training went to do some exercises himself.

Some time later....

Unknown to Daniel who was thinking about his coming gym battle, suddenly a bush right next his tent starts shaking.

Both Daniel and his Pokemon's went into full alert mode, charging their own moves for this intruder...

A boy with light brow hair, not ver tidy cloths came out from the bush, seeing this new face Daniel stops his Pokemon attacks and looks at him cautiously.

The unknown boy sees that Daniel's Pokemon were about to attack him says," Chill buddy! I am no intruder dude, I was just passing around here! Name's Jake!" (Jakes image in comments)

Reading his tone, seeing his eyes move, Daniel tries to see if Jake was lying. Pokemon stealing was not uncommon.So better safe than sorry!

Daniel starts talking, " My Name's Daniel, I was just venturing in the Viridian Forest when you showed up. What are you doing here?"

Jake hearing the question, answers it," Oh! a new trainer huh! I just took a mission from The Pokemon center in the Viridian city to get some Pecha Berries. You know to make antidotes and all!"

Daniel hearing this relaxes a little, 'cause if Jake had a mission from alliance, this meant that he is probably a Alliance trainer and there are rule to not attack other alliance trainer, unless wanted to battle. But Daniel stil didn't got the answer to his question.

Daniel asks ," That still does not clarify, What were doing near My Tent?"

Jake - ," You caught me!.. Actually me and my Pokemon are in this forest for more than a week right now and my pokefood is finished, I was asking if you can give me some,,! I will give the money."

Jake seeing Daniel didn't believe hime took out his Pokeballs and calls out his Pokemon's. He has a Pidgeoto and a Vileplume. Seeing the tires expressions of Jakes Pokemon Daniel takes out some food and gives them to Jake.

Daniel seeing Jakes Pokemon uses his ability on them-

As Jake and his Pokemon were eating the food like crazy, Daniel and his Pokemon were still wary of him. After Finishing the food Jake says -

Jake ," Thank you man! I will be indebted to you, you know I got three badges, call me if you need any help!" Jake give Daniel his contact info and gives him some money he had.

Elekid and Bulbasaur seeing some other Pokemon eat their food didn't take it good and were angry at Vileplume and pidgeotto.

Daniel and Jake talks for a little while. Jake was an experienced trainer who have started his journey previous year but due to not enough funds he had to stop it but he again starts his journey this year, it was his all time dream to be a good pokemon trainer.

After some time Jake leaves Daniel after saying his goodbyes.

Daniel now seed Jake at completely different view, he was like a ally he had made, Jake was a good guy. 'Hope we meet again someday' is all Daniel thought after Jakes leaving.

Daniel again focus on his Pokemon training.
