Parting Ways

After telling the two birds that Brock, Misty, and Yellow would have them for a while Pidgeotto was fine but Fearow looked a bit mad, not enough to do anything about it but grumpy nonetheless. 

So Ash just told him that he could visit his old gang/friends/family whatever he called it, and that made Fearow change his mind and think of all the ways he can flex his new power.

So in the end Brock and Yellow would take Fearow since he was bigger and Yellow was small. And Misty would take Pidgeotto, so after they grabbed their things Ash gave them the balls and saw them off.

"It's always sad for a father to watch his children leave the nest," Ash said with some fake sobbing, "But I knew the day would come."

Misty rolled her eyes, "C'mon as if we would believe that, can you take anything seriously," 

Yellow looked like she was going to comfort Ash but then realized he was joking and straightened herself.

"Only once every 3 business days," Ash said, "and they don't stack."

"Well Ash, thank you again for letting us use your Pokemon, I'll think of a way to make it up for you," Brock said as he finished making a bit of a makeshift saddle.

"Don't worry about it, Either way, what are you guys going to do when you're over there?"

Misty just put her finger on her lips, "It's a secret, Let's just say I'm going to get some disciplinary help for my sisters."

"Well that's not ominous," Brock said, "But I'm going to go help my father and train so hard my rock-hard willpower will grow even larger."

Everyone stared at him, "Ok I also want to go see Rose Joy again," Brock said with shame and heart in his eyes.

"Well I wanted to ask Uncle Wilton if he could help me train, he is actually the best trainer behind the gym leader in Viridian," Yellow said in a happy tone, which Ratty who was in her lap also was woken up by.

"Alright well I was going to go travel to the mountains and get my 2 stubborn Pokemon to evolve, Seriously isn't weird that those two just haven't evolved," Ash said referring to Weedle and Magikarp.

"Well yeah," Misty said, "Can't say much about Weedle but Magikarps do take time, but with your training regimen for it it should have evolved 3 times over," Misty said with a small shiver that no one really saw.

"Well whatever I am still going to the mountains, Maybe I'll find new adventures, fall in love with a beautiful girl, have a family out there, and never even show up again, This might be the last time you see me," Ash said doing almost a fainting motion.

"Sure, either way, I guess we will see you in a few days," Brock said as everyone completely ignored the last thing Ash said.

"Alright send me a text when you land, I'll be waiting," Ash said as the birds flew off.

As he was left with Pikachu alone again he breathed a sigh and looked down, "Well looks like it's you and me again buddy, Come On I'll get you some ice cream." Ash said, waking away.

"Pika!" Pikachu said as he ran forward.

Sometime later Ash and Pikachu were sitting on a bench both with some ice cream in their hands, Pikachu was enjoying it and Ash released Weepinbell.

"Well first things first, Weepinbell spit it out," Ash said.

You see the move Fly trap has 3 parts to it, firstly Weepinbell gets the Pokemon in its mouth that is naturally covered in a poison mucus combination that makes them very good predators, The second is where they start draining the Pokemon with a mixture of a draining move and poison, and the third is the best part where Weepinbell steals the held item from the Pokemon.

As such Weepinbell had the focus sash from earlier, it was a bit slimy but nothing some time in a time chamber couldn't fix, he grabbed it, put it in his storage to dry for a few weeks, sped it up to a few hours and paid his flycatcher with his ice cream.

Ash sat on the bench and thought about his next course of action, 'Well there are a few things I can do, I could go meet up with Chloe and laugh at her because she doubted me but that is a bit too childish even for me. I could also go train with Surge but knowing him if I start I am not stopping so I need to make the preparations beforehand, which will realistically only take a few minutes.'

As Ash was thinking he also made another Pokeblock with an Oran Berry and gave it to a random Pidgey that came up to him, 'Well I guess the best course of action is to go back to that Pokecenter train and see if Charmander shows up, by now it should be close to the day original Ash got to the same location. All I need to see is if it rains or if he is at the rock.'

Ash finally made up his mind and looked towards Abra who also somehow got an ice cream, Even though he didn't buy one for her, he didn't bother and told her to teleport her back to the same spot. When she did, they disappeared and Pikachu's ice cream was left behind and the bird from earlier came up and took it for itself.

When they appeared they got behind the Pokemon center, A random kid saw him but he just acted like nothing was wrong and went inside the center. And the kid was just left wondering about life. Meanwhile, Pikachu was sad so he gave him some ketchup.

Walking inside he saw a few people in there with their Pokemon Out there were all sorts of Pokemon, a boy with a Geodude, a girl with an Eevee, another girl with a Clefable, a boy with a Venonat, a girl with an Oddish, and Finally a certain boy with a Lucario and a certain girl standing by the Pokemon desk. And 3 people in trench coats that are irrelevant absolutely, their hair color, what does it matter that one has pink hair, the other has blue hair and the third is a cat, they don't matter, right?

Lucario also noticed him and looked at him as he entered, he just acted like he didn't see it and went over to the Computers while also thinking to himself, 'Well this changes things drastically, I had a feeling I was in the 'I Choose You!' movie when I didn't find Pidgeotto like in the anime, and I got that feather but I don't know when it would happen, but that just brings up the question about Cross since he was the one who got rid of Charmander in the movie.'

Ash was lost in thought as he approached the computer to call up Oak, 'Well I guess I'll figure out what to do when I have to.'

Oak answered the computer, and it looked like he was eating dumplings, "Hello my Boy to what do I owe this call,"

'He is getting too comfortable getting food when I call him,' Ash thought, "Well I wanted you to know I just got the third badge from LT.Surge."

Since it was a small center in the woods most people heard this and the certain boy recognised who Ash was talking to, but most People were more interested that he beat Surge.

"Wonderfull, Gary also got his yesterday though it took him quite a few tries he even refuses to tell me how long it took him," Oak said with a chuckle, "What about you How long did it take you to get it, Forgive me when I say this but I doubt you got it on your first try again."

"But I did," Ash said, which left Oak and anyone who heard him speechless.

"Sorry I guess old age is catching up to me would you mind saying that again,"

"I beat the Lieutenant on the first try, Why is it so hard to believe you can look up the footage online? I literally fought him a few hours ago."

Oak was silent for a moment before regaining his composer, "Well I have to say you continue surprising me my Boy, but I suppose you always liked to make sure you could do something before jumping in, well I suppose you want to call your mother next I won't hold you, also if you see Gary tell him Daisy is worried about him."

"Alright see You Oak, and you better not forget our deal," Ash said as he ended the call and started calling his mother's number which she immediately answered.

"Hello, Ash how have you been!" Delia said looking happy.

"Hey Mom, Everything is going well. I just got my next badge. Life is pretty nice," Ash said with a smile.

"Wow honey that's great, By the way where are your friends, Is Green or Gary with you?"

"Well we decided to have a bit of a rest for a while so they went to their families, Gary and Green are doing their own thing."

"So you let them and you didn't think to come and visit your poor mother," Delia said with a pout, which a certain girl heard and snickered about.

"Come on, we both know what will happen if I come back home, you were already ready to cry when I left. If I go back you won't let me leave without the waterworks coming out."

"I know I just miss you, well how about you tell me about-" Delia was cut off by a boy with a Vaporeon running into the center and getting to Joy.

"Excuse me! Nurse Joy! Please help my Pokemon! My Vaporeon's been hurt." The boy said as he set the water fox down.

"Let me see," Joy said, "It doesn't look good! What happened?"

"That Entei came out of nowhere…" The boy said sadly, "I thought for sure we could catch it..."

Joy grabbed the poor Pokemon in her arms, "Don't worry. It'll be just fine."

Ash sighed, "Sorry Mom something came up, I'll call you later." Ash said

"Ok, See you later, love you," Delia said as the call ended and Ash walked forward as one of the kids started asking about What he meant by Entei.

"Yeah. One of the Legendary Pokemon. They're so rare, that nobody ever sees them! I tried to catch it, but it was so overwhelmingly strong... We were beaten in no time and after that it-''

As soon as the words legendary left the boy's mouth all the other kids started screaming about how they were going to catch it and how it was still probably close by.

Ash sighed, "Does no one actually follow basic common sense here, sure the legendary dogs aren't as strong as the big boy legendaries like Ho-Oh but they are still pretty strong. One of them had a first-form bug for crying out loud."

Ash thought this and looked at the three idiots sitting on the bench and also walked out of the center, but he actually knew where he was going,

Meanwhile, back on the bench the very unimportant people started talking, "Did you hear that a legendary Pokemon, we should get it," The girl said.

"Yes, we still have some time before we have to go back to the base to prepare. Let's do it, " the boy said

"They won't even know it was us." the cat said.

They both ran out revealing the biggest plot twist, It was Team Rocket who could have guessed it was not me.

Back to Ash, he was just a casualty going on a stroll when he eventually came to a rock with a lion-dog thing was standing there, he found a rock and sat down as the girl from the Pokemon center came running out from the woods and the boy and his Lucario both making a B-line to it.

"There it is!"x2 they both said as they noticed each other.

Meanwhile, Ash pulled out a bag of chips and enjoyed the show.
