Episode 64: Water Fish

Announcer: Are you ready? It's finally that time to decide who's the strongest of this generation!

The second day of the Indigo League begins, the tournament to decide who gets to challenge the Elite 4.

Announcer: This year only 32 challengers have made to this point today. Only one will move on to tomorrow. Everyone, prepare for battle!

One of the first matches was our heroes up against a trainer from the Johto region.

Announcer: For our fourth match, we have the Pokémen team of Ki Rai, Hiko Ottoka, Kyou Una, Midori Ivy, Ao Wart, and Aka Leon from Pallet Town in the Kanto region! Up against Ace trainer Blake Cybil from Mahogany Town in the Johto region! As stated earlier, challengers may only use either 3 Pokémon or 3 Pokémen. Challengers, are you ready? 3, 2, 1, go!

Blake: Butterfree, go!

Una: I got this one. Fre did help a little with our training.

Blake's Butterfree uses Psychic but Una dodges out of the way to throw a sharp fragment of her armor at the Butterfree. A String Shot was attached to the fragment and Una uses the string to pull in Butterfree and stab it with one of her stingers.

Una: Toxic.

She pours poison into it's body, eventually knocking it out.

Announcer: The match has just begun and Blake is already down by one Pokémon! This is the power of a Pokéman ladies and gentlemen!

Blake: Okay then, Butterfree return. Ninetales, you're up next!

Wart: Una, switch with me.

Una: Go for it.

Up next is Wart and he starts the battle off with Water Sport, already dampening Ninetales damage before using Hydro Pump.

Blake: Ninetales, switch out. Quagsire, go!

Blake throws out a Pokémon none of them have seen before to absorb Wart's Hydro Pump.

Leon: Quagsire? Pokédex, any data one this thing?

DATA NOT FOUND.

Leon: Must be a Pokémon from the Johto region.

Blake: Quagsire, use Yawn!

Wart is hit and becomes drowsy.

Ivy: Wart let me in.

Wart and Ivy switch out and Ivy uses Leech Seed to trap the Quagsire. She then begins charging up a Solar Beam.

Blake: Quagsire use Yawn again!

But the effects did not activate faster than Ivy's massive attack, knocking out Quagsire.

Announcer: Blake has lost another Pokémon! He's down to one, can he make a comeback?

His Ninetales is back on the field but Ivy is fast asleep by now. Ninetales uses Fire Blast to try and finish her off but before the attack hits Wart blocks the attack with his shell. He knocks out the Ninetales with a single Hydro Pump.

Announcer: That was the quickest battle yet!The team of Pokémen managed to not lose a single member while knocking out Blake's team in one shot! Looks like we have some really promising challengers this year! Onto the next round!
