Episode 45: Bird

Otto takes everyone to the Pokémon Center after that long, straining battle. Sabrina follows with them to congratulate them when they wake up.

Sabrina: I know you may have heard this a lot but you all truly are amazing. The gym leaders are no joke yet time and time again you conquer them.

Otto: Yeah they really are amazing. I never really thought of the Pokémon League until they came around. I'll never regret my choice to leave my home with them.

At that moment, a loud voice was heard over Saffron City.

???: Residents of Saffron City, Team Rocket has officially taken over the surrounding area, putting the city on lockdown. Anyone wishing to oppose us will be dealt with.

Otto and Sabrina run out of the Pokémon Center to see a barrier covering the entire city.

Sabrina: It's coming from the Silph Co. Building, they're probably over there. You go on, I'll send my Mr. Mime to try and dispel the barrier.

Otto tries to fly to the top floor but is zapped away.

Otto: Guess I have to go the long way.

She clears the first floor of grunts with ease. Otto goes to the elevator but it doesn't work.

Otto: Do I really have to climb all 11 floors? I don't think the boss would be on any other floors so.

Second floor and she clears it with ease just like the first floor but she see's a similar teleporter to the ones in Sabrina's gym. At that moment Sabrina appears.

Sabrina: Hold on, let me scan the building to see which teleporters lead to where.

Otto: You can do that?

Sabrina: I'm a psychic remember?

Otto: Oh yeah sorry...

Sabrina: Anyway's, Alakazam, help me see where these teleporters lead.

She sits down with her Pokémon, psychic energy emanating from their body's.

Sabrina: Got it, the perfect route to Team Rocket's leader.

They pass though until they're stopped by a locked door.

Otto: Looks like we need a key card.

Sabrina: Rocket grunt, where do we get a key card?

Grunt: On...floor 5...

Sabrina: Okay, I see it. Otto, let's go.

They go through the teleporters to where the key card is and grabs it. Eventually, the 2 of them reach 1 more locked door on floor 11. They open the door to see Giovanni sitting with the President of Silph Co.

Giovanni: Pest. I knew you would be stupid enough to show up.

Out of one of his Pokéballs is a Kangaskan and it uses disable on Sabrina to stop her from using her psychic abilities and her Pokémon. Otto strikes it down with Air Slash to stop it from using disable again.

Giovanni: I was hoping I could dealt with you quickly but it seems like this will take longer than expected. Nidoking, get rid of them.
