Episode 44: Psi

Rai switches in after the unconscious Ivy is dragged away and the battle continues. He faster than the Pokémon and lands a few Slams on it but it uses Recover to negate all of the damage.

Rai: Okay, how about I try this new move then.

Rai begins to conjure up a thunder cloud around the room, putting all of his focus into this. Sabrina has her Alakazam use Psychic and hits him hard. Struggling to standing, Rai utters 1 more word before falling over.

Rai: Thunder...

Down from the thunder cloud releases the maximum output of Rai's power, dealing huge damage to the Alakazam. While Alakazam is healing with Recover, Una jumps in and uses Toxic but instead of the usual extreme poison it only regularly poisoned it.

Sabrina: I've trained my Alakazam to break down poison and other status effects but you still manage poison him. Nice. Alakazam use Gravity!

Una was pressed down into ground, unable to move.

Sabrina: Not escaping this time. Alakazam, Psychic.

Another complete annihilation of one of the Pokéman. The only 2 left are Otto and Leon and Leon is the next contender. He flies around and swoops down to hit it with Wing Attack over and over again. It uses Gravity again to drop Leon to the ground. He gets back up and the Alakazam uses Charge Beam but Leon blocks it with his wings. The Charge Beam boost Alakazam and it uses Recover to gain all of its health again. Leon uses Flamethrower in the air, heating up the surrounding. He blows the heated air, along with the lingering thunder cloud from Rai at the Pokémon, inflicting both burn and paralysis.

Sabrina: What, a Pokémon can't have more than 1 status condition.

Leon: I'll thank Una for the poison, it must of weaken your Alakazam's body to the point where it could be effected this much.

Sabrina: Time and time again you impress me. If you all get out this with my gym badge I'm sure you'll go far. Too bad you won't be getting it. Alakazam, Psychic: Max Mind Blast!

3 more spoons fly out from behind the Pokémon, it's eyes glow a bright blue as it's surrounded by a magenta aura and the spoons circling it's hands. Leon builds up flames from the deepest depth of his body to use a technique.

Leon: Flamethrower: Full Power Flames!

The 2 attacks collide, the both of them putting everything into those attacks. The collision of the attack are so strong it begins to break at the surrounding area, even dealing some damage to Otto and Sabrina. By the time the 2 attacks end, both Leon and Sabrina's Alakazam are knocked out. With Otto still standing, the victory is given to the Pokémans.
