Young assistant professor

While Noah was waiting for his test results, on the other side the middle-aged woman was shocked beyond words. In fact somewhat terrified. She knew she can't handle the situation so she called for professor Oak immediately.

Oak"What happened Casey, why did you call me so urgently?"

Professor oak continued and from results found that Noah's body was also better and stronger than humans at stage 1. Stages are something that differentiates people in this world. By training with pokemon, you can form a bond with them that slowly changes your body to the type of mana they control.

Everyone in this world is stage 1 at the start and hence they have somewhat longer lifespans than people at Earth. In most regions, average lifespans for stage 1 are 80-100 years. As you go up the stages your strength and lifespan increase due to mana. Most elites normally are at stage 4 or 5.

Regional champions are at stage 5-6 . At stage 5 your lifespan is 300yrs approx and you can even use some magic of that element. Having a high stage is a must for top trainers.

Now, this is why professors were so shocked because Noah not only can accommodate mana of each type, He even has much more amount for the same stage!! One of the reasons most top trainers use a particular type of pokemon is that human capacity for accommodating types was limited so having multiple type mana slows down their progress but this does not apply to Noah!!. He can store it in pure form.

Oak"Casey you are absolutely prohibited from disclosing this information. Do you understand?"

"y-yes professor" Casey answered. She knew how dangerous this information was for them and also for Noah. If this fact is known he may be locked up for research. Not only that this could even put them in problem with the league.

Casey"Professor I think we should keep Noah here, This was we can research this safely and the child could even get a place to grow. When he grows up, he can leave for his journey."

Oak"Hmm.." he neither agreed nor disagreed. He was contemplating how to handle this issue.

While the professor and Casey were having the discussion, Noah was bored beyond words. He was sitting there for more than an hour and just sitting and doing nothing was not in his nature. He looked around the facility and found an interesting device. actually it could be used as a computer.

How did he know the language? And how could he speak with people in this foreign world?

That was simple as this language resembled English and strangely he could understand everything! Even more, he could understand the alphabet. He didn't know how he got this ability to reach this language.

What he did not know that due to some strange happening while he was inside the rift of space and time, he got the ability to understand any language. The less he knew about it, the more time it took him to learn but the common language in Kanto resembling English made it easier for him to learn.

He started working on the machine and understanding it. Soon 3 hours passed and when oak came to meet him, he was shocked to see the kid messing around with lab equipment.

Oak"Noah what are you doing?"

Noah"Ah professor you see this machine's search algorithm was not properly efficient so I tweaked it a bit"

The hardware of this world was top notch but the software was not that efficient. So it only took Noah some hours to make small improvements.

Oak was skeptical at first but soon found that the speed of equipment was 20% faster. This was a great improvement!!

Oak"Noah you don't have anywhere to go. How about you live with me here until you grow up"

Noah"Sure professor but I would like to be you assistant"

Oak"Are you sure? You are too young"

Noah"Don't worry you have seen my work on this machine and I am a fast learned"

Oak smiled and said"Sure from now on, you are my assistant"

This started the career of our young researcher in child's clothing. Noah was given a residence and even salary. he started tweaking lab equipment when also learning various things about pokemon.

He wanted to gather as much knowledge about pokemon as he could get as he decided to once again shock the world. But this time being a pokemon master!!
