Chapter 4: I Can't Marry You

Shen Nuo listened and unconsciously shook her head.

Almost at the same moment, Lu Xiusi's expression turned even uglier. Shake her head? This woman kept crossing his bottom line, wasn't she afraid he'd strangle her?

Shen Nuo stood outside the car, hesitating. Once she got into Lu Xiusi's car, it meant her compromise, it meant she was completely falling into the grave of marriage with Lu Xiusi, with no escape.

Shen Nuo paused, then added, "Naturally, if we divorce, I won't take a penny of your property."

This was Shen Nuo's promise to Lu Xiusi, and also a condition she set for him.

Shen Nuo got into the car, finally satisfying Lu Xiusi.

The car sped along the road, and the more Shen Nuo looked at it, the more familiar it seemed. "Mr. Lu, may I ask where we're going?"

"Your home." Lu Xiusi's tone remained indifferent.

"You don't need to meet my parents, do you?" Shen Nuo asked tentatively.
