Both Pixel and Micah had been taught some things about the outside world by their families but there were times when seeing and experiencing things was better than hearing about them from others so that they would come to believe in the truth that had been taught to them.

It was a little bit of a shock to learn that it was true about how criminals would be hunted down all around the world by anyone that wanted the reward but they quickly turned their attention elsewhere.

The newspaper had some of the latest articles that had been posted so Pixel began reading so she could learn more about the things happening in the world.

Among the news, there was a small report on the failure of Pedro's failure to obtain something from Big Mom and how he managed to survive after being caught.

His bounty was raised but Pixel had already seen that Pedro would not be leaving Zou again unless it was for something important so he would not be hunted down for the high bounty on his head.

It was not completely known to everyone but to those that did know, they were upset to hear about the death of Zepo and the loss of lifespan of Pedro.

The newspaper mentioned that Pedro had gone missing since then but if he was found then it would be unwise to approach him carelessly and to report him to the Marines.

There was another report on how Shanks had become more famous after becoming an Emperor a little more than a year ago while other reports were on other islands on the Grand Line.

One was about how it had been a year since King Cobra of Arabasta had been suspected of being behind the drought after making use of the illegal dance powder and how the royal family had not made an appearance since then.

The daughter that was Vivi had not been seen by the public in some time and her last public appearance outside of her island was when she appeared at the Levely that was described as the meeting of the rulers of the affiliated islands with the world government.

Some other news was updates on the ongoing power struggles between the current powers of the world and the wars between several islands so Pixel came to understand that there was a certain balance of power that was made up of certain groups.

The four emperors, the seven warlords, the revolutionaries, the marines and the world government were those that were mentioned the most and made the front pages of the newspaper.

Pixel was not aware of it but she had been brought into the One Piece world that was unfamiliar to her and had left her homeland before the main timeline would begin.

It was just a little time after Portgas D Ace had left on his journey to form his own crew, Pedro had returned to Zou after suffering a loss against Big Mom and was around two years before Monkey D Luffy would begin his journey.

It had been more than one thousand years since the Minks had lived in isolation on Zou but there were some that travelled outside like her own family, the Glutt family and those from other groups like Nox.

Pixel then turned to the second newspaper that she had purchased that was more of a local newspaper.

There was the world news that covered the ongoings of the whole world while there were some that only covered the local news of the islands unless their people could travel to other places to take pictures and gather intel on certain events taking place in the world.

Before reading all of it, Pixel pointed towards the article about Whitebeard then passed the world news to Micah. "You must have learned a little of the history outside of our own. What do you think about all of this?"

Pixel knew a little about how someone called Gol D Roger had visited Zou in the past and had come into contact with Catviper and Dogstorm.

Pixel had managed to hear a little from Catviper about his travels and how he had been on the ship of Whitebeard and Gol D Roger with Kozuki Oden so she had heard about one of the Four Emperors.

All she knew about Big Mom was that there was a lion Mink that had joined her called Pekoms while the rest of the other emperors she knew very little about along with the other powers in the world.

Kaido was spoken of a little by Catviper but he did not open up about him so Pixel only came to know that he was someone that caused him a lot of pain and heartache.

Micah pondered. "The Marines seem to be the law enforcement around the world, the World Government seem to be those in power. The Four Emperors are the major outlaws that are not allied with each other but are enemies with the Marines and World Government.

The Warlords seem to be outlaws but they have been given some authority to avoid being captured so long as they carry out the orders of the World Government. The Revolutionaries seem to be fighting for freedom and change.

I know I have been trying to turn over a new leaf and live a better life but I feel like our homeland and people are not exactly so happy to integrate with the World Government. The question would be.. who would we ally with if we do go on a journey like you said we would."

Their information was limited so they could not make a decision right away and they were unsure if they needed to make allegiances or not when they journeyed the New World.

Pixel agreed. "I feel that no matter what we choose to do, we may end up with a bounty on our heads just like Pedro. We could try joining the Marines but that would be difficult since we are not allied with them and gaining their trust would take time. Maybe the life of a pirate would more suited to us.."

Micah shrugged. "We can just sail around and see how things work out. There does not really need to be a specific plan."

Pixel nodded. "True."

Cleo tilted her head. "So you two really are thinking of leaving Zou? Why?"

Pixel explained. "We have seen a lot of Zou already and we cannot be satisfied with just that. If you wish to join then we will not say no."

Cleo pouted. "Whose fiancé is he? How come you two are making plans without me?"

Pixel rolled her eyes. "Of course he is yours and there is no plan yet. We were just talking about what we could do in the future."

Harley looked over and said. "I want to come too."

Old Swifty yawned. "My job is to keep you safe so I will come."

Liqorice pondered for a moment and then spoke. "I might be able to come but wouldn't there be a need for someone to stay behind to handle your businesses on Zou?"

Misty agreed with Liquorice but then added. "That is true but our parents can keep things running while we are away. It is not like we are really needed back there to keep everything running smoothly."

Pixel had plans to bring some others along but it depended on each of their own plans and if they agreed to come along.

She was still unsure if Ash would come along with her or if her mother would stay in the Meridian family while the others had their own things to do.

Cleo was still an heir so she had her own responsibilities and tests to take on unless she chose to abandon that and join the journey with Micah.
