The trio ate the food, took a nap to rest in the night as everyone was just laying on the bed
Hikari then turned to look at the other. "You know she is Hot".
Luke just looked at him and yalled. "You are 12"
The next morning, Medusa packed there bags with more food, and few more supplies, they looked at her as she looked at them.
Medusa looked at them. "Go to the east, there is the closet way to reach the Golden Sheep for you quest".
Hikari looked at her. "Thank you Medusa, also I will find your sister or hope too".
Medusa smiled as she graced Hikari face. "Alright, good luck, and even if you don't find them why don't you return one a week".
Medusa then handed him something Three orbs to the trio. "These have a bit of my power, It will help I call them Gorgon eyes, crush them each of 3 have 3 them and 9 in total use them carefully".
They nodded a the trio left, as they went to the east, Hikari then made prayer to his mother Aphrodite to protect this woman as they went it the east
Yami just looked at them. "Our quest is to get the Golden sheep's, how did we fight a giant robot snake, discovered the pit, fought a demon, Got invited to a party and now just met Medusa, what in video game side quests".
Hikari chuckled at Yami's comment, adjusting the bag on his back as they began their journey east. The previous day's events still felt surreal. "Yeah, it's like we're going off the beaten path every time. I mean, one moment we're battling a robot snake, and now we're talking to Medusa. What's next? Fighting a hydra in a video game dungeon?"
Luke groaned and rolled his eyes. "Don't even joke about that. Knowing us, we'll probably bump into a hydra next. At least we got those orbs from Medusa. Hopefully, they'll actually help us when things get worse." He looked at the orbs in his hand, each shimmering with strange, otherworldly energy. "Gorgon eyes, huh? What do you think they do exactly?"
Yami studied the orbs closely, his scythe slung over his shoulder. "I don't know, but given the fact that they're tied to Medusa's power, I'm guessing they're more than just trinkets. I think it's best we use them sparingly."
"Agreed," Hikari added. He looked toward the horizon, the path leading them east toward their goal—the Golden Sheep. "But we can't forget the task at hand. Finding the Golden Sheep is still the priority."
They walked in silence for a while, each of them lost in their thoughts. The morning sun was beginning to rise, casting long shadows over the rocky terrain as the trio ventured deeper into the unknown.
Suddenly, Yami broke the silence. "So, what do you think Medusa's deal is? I mean, she's definitely not just a hermit living out here. She's a goddess. And she didn't give us any real answers about her sisters. Why does she want us to help her, or at least stay in touch?"
Hikari shook his head. "I don't know. She's playing a long game, I think. The way she talked about the gods, and her sisters... she's hiding something. But for now, we need to focus on our mission. We'll figure out the rest later."
Luke nodded, though his face showed signs of lingering doubt. "Yeah, you're right. We can't get distracted by everything that's going on around us. We need to stay focused."
The trio continued walking, their eyes scanning the landscape for anything unusual. The Golden Sheep were said to reside in the mountains far to the east, and with Medusa's directions, they felt like they were on the right track. But as they traveled, something strange began to happen. The air grew heavier, and the further they went, the more the landscape seemed to change.
Hikari frowned. "This place feels... off. Like we're walking into something we shouldn't."
Yami looked around cautiously. "I don't like this. We need to be on alert."
Luke pulled his sword out, holding it loosely in his hand. "What do you think it is? Another trap? More monsters?"
Before Hikari could answer, a low growl echoed from behind them, sending a chill down their spines. The ground trembled, and a dark shadow loomed from the corner of their eyes. The trio spun around, their weapons at the ready.
A massive figure emerged from the shadows— a hulking, mechanical creature with glowing red eyes and a body covered in sharp metallic scales. It was a robot, but it moved with the grace of a predator. The creature's massive metal tail swayed, creating a sound like grinding metal against stone as it circled them.
"I guess we didn't have to wait long," Yami muttered, his scythe ready for combat.
The robotic creature stopped a few feet in front of them, its eyes locking onto the trio. Its mechanical voice growled, "Intruders detected. Eliminate."
Hikari was the first to react. "Looks like we're about to fight a giant robot again. But we'll need to be careful. Medusa's orbs... we might need them for this."
Luke gritted his teeth. "We'll deal with it. But this time, let's try not to get blasted into oblivion like the last time we fought a machine."
Yami smirked. "I'm starting to think this is all part of the adventure. But hey, let's make it quick."
The robotic beast lunged, its tail swishing through the air toward them like a massive whip. Hikari ducked, narrowly avoiding the attack as he transformed into his wolf mode, claws at the ready. He darted forward, slashing at the creature's legs.
The robot stumbled but quickly regained its footing. "Target acquired," it hissed.
Luke raised his sword, charging at the robot's head. He struck with precision, but his sword simply scraped off the metallic surface with a screech.
Yami, using the distraction, launched himself into the air, his scythe glowing with dark energy. He brought it down hard on the creature's back, causing sparks to fly. The robot howled in pain, but it seemed to absorb the attack and retaliate with a barrage of energy blasts from its shoulders.
Hikari growled in frustration. "It's too strong. We need to do something more powerful. The orbs... we should try them now!"
Without waiting for a response, Hikari smashed the Gorgon eye orb into the ground, releasing a pulse of Medusa's power. The air shimmered as a protective barrier enveloped the trio. The robot paused, its movements slower as it seemed to be caught off guard by the sudden shift.
Yami smirked. "Nice. Let's finish this."
They attacked in unison, with Luke charging straight for the robot's weak spot, Hikari using his claws to tear through its armor, and Yami's scythe slicing through its metal frame. As the final blow was struck, the robot's head exploded, sending sparks flying everywhere as it collapsed into a heap of scrap.
The trio stood panting, catching their breath. The protective barrier from the orb faded away, and they exchanged a look of silent agreement.
"That was... harder than expected," Luke said, wiping the sweat from his brow.
Yami nodded. "This place is definitely full of surprises. And we're only getting started."
Hikari looked ahead, determination in his eyes. "We're still heading east. Let's keep going."
The trio pressed on, their journey still long and full of unknown dangers. But with each step, they grew stronger, more prepared for whatever lay ahead. The Golden Sheep—and the secrets that awaited them—were still out there, and they were determined to find them.
As Hikari continued walking east, he couldn't help but voice his frustration. "Why are we fighting so many robots? This feels like we're stuck in some kind of strange glitchy side quest. First a giant mechanical snake, now this. Is this some cosmic joke?"
Luke chuckled dryly. "You're telling me. First monsters, then demons, now this... At least they're not all the same, though. Keeps things interesting."
Yami smirked, spinning his scythe in his hand. "I'm just waiting for the day we fight a giant robot hydra. That'll be the real fun."
Just as they continued to bicker about their strange battles, far away in Olympus, a scene of chaos unfolded. Hephaestus, the god of craftsmanship and invention, was storming through his workshop. His face was red with frustration as he chased after Apollo, who was casually strolling between rows of strange and deadly creations.
Hephaestus's voice echoed across the metal walls of his workshop as he shouted, "Stop taking my robot animals and putting them in random parts of America! They're not toys, Apollo!"
Apollo, ever the trickster, laughed with delight as he continued to dash around, eluding Hephaestus's attempts to catch him. "Never, bro! Come on, it's hilarious! You should see the look on the Demi-Gods' faces when they stumble upon one of them. It's like a treasure hunt, only, you know, with more robot."
Hephaestus growled in exasperation, waving his hammer. "You've got to stop doing that! It's bad enough I have to clean up after your pranks. Now I have rogue killer robots terrorizing innocent mortals and demigods!"
Apollo spun around with a wide grin, his golden hair catching the light. "Oh, relax. It's not like they're actually dangerous... unless you count the fire-breathing lion or the snake that can swallow a whole chariot in one go." He dodged Hephaestus's attempts to grab him and winked playfully. "It's fun, Hephy! C'mon, you gotta admit it's a good laugh."
Hephaestus sighed in frustration, his shoulders slumping. "You're impossible. If they're so much fun, then maybe you should go handle the cleanup next time."
Apollo just shrugged nonchalantly, still grinning. "Nah, I'm good. But hey, I'll leave you with a little gift to make up for it." He snapped his fingers, and suddenly, a mechanical bull with glowing red eyes charged out of the workshop, knocking over a set of tools in its wake.
"Great," Hephaestus muttered, rubbing his temples. "Just what I needed today."
Meanwhile, back on the road, Hikari and the others were still processing their encounter with the mechanical creature. Yami's voice broke through the quiet, his tone curious as he glanced toward Hikari. "Do you think we've been fighting all these robots because of Some God's idea of fun?"
Hikari raised an eyebrow, clearly unimpressed. "What kind of sick game is that? Tossing killer robots all over the place for Demi-Gods to fight? Is he bored or something?"
Luke shook his head. "That's... messed up. I mean, we've had some close calls, and I'm sure others will too. What kind of logic is that?"
Yami, ever the realist, muttered, "It's typical. The question is, are we done with robot fights, or are we going to be running into more of them?"
Hikari looked ahead, adjusting his bag. "Well, with The God's involved, I'd say we're probably far from done. But we have our own quest. Let's just focus on getting to the Golden Sheep. We're not going to let a few killer robots slow us down."
Yami grinned. "You're right. Let's just hope we don't run into any more surprises on the way."
As they continued their journey east, the sun began to set, casting an eerie glow over the path ahead. They didn't know what challenges lay before them, but one thing was for sure: their path was anything but predictable. Whether fighting robots or uncovering long-forgotten myths, Hikari and his friends knew they had to face whatever came their way—together.
In Olympus, Hephaestus was still chasing Apollo, but now, the god of invention couldn't help but chuckle darkly to himself. Maybe Apollo's little "game" was creating chaos on Earth, but Hephaestus had an idea of how to make his own creations even more interesting.
And for Apollo, it was only a matter of time before Hephaestus got his payback. The gods of Olympus sure knew how to make things... entertaining.
As the trio continued their journey through the night, the cool breeze rustled the trees, and the faint sound of their footsteps echoed through the quiet forest. They remained unaware of the silent eyes watching them from the shadows.
High above, perched in the trees, two figures observed their every move. The first girl, tall and imposing, had dark tanned skin, braided black hair, and a silver jacket that shimmered in the moonlight. A bow rested at her side, and her sharp eyes followed the trio's path with an air of quiet determination. Her presence radiated power and experience, even though she looked deceptively young. She was Zoe, the eternal huntress, Artemis's loyal companion.
Next to her stood a figure who appeared younger but was far older than her youthful appearance suggested. This was none other than Artemis, the moon goddess, whose timeless beauty and ancient wisdom had seen the rise and fall of empires. As she gazed up at the night sky, her eyes fixed on the constellation of Orion, a distant but familiar figure to her.
Zoe broke the silence, her voice calm but laced with authority. "My Lady Artemis, I have come to tell thee about the arrival that you have wanted to know."
Artemis turned her gaze toward Zoe, nodding silently. "Thank you, Zoe. You may leave now."
With a respectful bow, Zoe stepped away, retreating into the shadows as Artemis remained alone, her attention now fully absorbed by the stars above. She gazed intently at Orion, a hunter from myth, and the stars that formed his constellation seemed to flicker in response, as though aware of her focus.
Her voice, soft and contemplative, barely broke the silence of the night. "So, son of Aphrodite, we will finally meet… Will you be like the rest of the boys, following in their footsteps? Will you be like my brother Apollo, full of arrogance and pride? Or will you be different, like your mother, a reflection of love and beauty?" She sighed, her gaze lingering on the constellation as the wind whispered through the trees. "Only time will tell."
The silence between Artemis and the stars deepened, her thoughts drifting as she awaited the arrival of this new figure—a demigod whose name had reached her ears in whispers, a child of Aphrodite with a path unknown. For a goddess of the hunt, a goddess who had seen the fate of so many heroes and mortals, the arrival of this boy, this demigod, was an event of curiosity, a puzzle waiting to be solved. She could only wait and watch, for the answers would come with time.
Meanwhile, back with the trio, the night carried on as they trudged forward, unaware of the divine eyes upon them. The moon, high in the sky, cast its glow on the world below, marking the passage of time as Artemis's quiet musings echoed in the silence.
