The trio was eating the food in a campfire, as they are looking at eachother as they were talking, as for Hikari felt something or will more like sense emotion
Hikari looked around. "Is someone there".
Luke looked at him. "Are you ok"
As then they saw it multiple eyes looking at them, it was clear it was human eyes as they looked back at them
Luke felt a chill, and a memory as he spoke. "The Hunt, no not again"
He had met the hunt once, when he first came to Camp Half-blood, before he arrived to camp half-blood, When it was only Him, Annabeth and his old dead friend Thalia they meet them, they meet her, and this time he wonder why they were here did they mistake Hikari for a girl was his first thought
As the eyes glowed in the darkness, the trio remained still, waiting for the mysterious presence to reveal itself. The air around them grew thicker with tension, and a strange quietness fell over the forest. Hikari could feel the weight of the gaze, as if the eyes weren't just watching them, but studying them, evaluating them.
Yami stood up slowly, his hand gripping the handle of his scythe as he scanned the area. "Whoever it is, they're not hiding very well," he muttered, his voice low and steady. "But they seem to know we're here."
Luke's mind raced as memories of his first encounter with the Hunt flooded his thoughts. He had always known they were out there, waiting for the right moment to appear, but he never expected them to show up here, in the middle of their journey.
"They're not just any hunters," Luke said, his voice serious. "The Hunt... they're led by Artemis. And if they're here... it's no coincidence."
Hikari looked at him, confused. "Artemis? As in the goddess?"
"Yes," Luke answered. "Her hunters, they serve her. They're fierce, skilled, and relentless. And they don't take kindly to outsiders or anyone who threatens their territory."
As the trio prepared themselves for whatever was coming, a figure stepped forward from the shadows, her outline barely visible in the moonlight. She had a regal, otherworldly presence, her movements silent but deliberate. Her eyes glinted in the darkness, glowing faintly like the stars themselves. She wore silver armor and carried a bow slung across her back, the quiver on her hip filled with arrows that seemed to shimmer with an ethereal glow.
The figure stopped just outside their campfire's reach, her gaze locked onto Hikari. "You..." she said, her voice like a whisper carried by the wind, but it was sharp and direct.
The trio stood frozen, all eyes on the figure as the air grew even colder. Hikari swallowed, feeling an instinctive tension in the air. "Are you looking for something?"
The figure didn't answer immediately. Instead, she glanced at each of them in turn, her piercing eyes analyzing every detail. Finally, she spoke again, her tone calmer but still with an edge of curiosity. "You're not one of us. Yet you walk so close to the woods of Artemis. And the girl... your scent is unmistakable, but you're not."
Yami raised an eyebrow. "Did she just call him a girl?"
Luke shook his head, signaling for them to stay calm. "We're not here to cause any trouble," he said, stepping forward slightly. "But we're not exactly in your territory, are we?"
The hunter didn't react to Luke's words but instead stared at Hikari again. "The son of Aphrodite," she mused aloud, as if testing the words on her tongue. "You are no ordinary child of the gods."
Hikari felt a chill run down his spine. "What does that mean?"
The hunter's lips curled into a small smile, though it was more of a knowing smirk than a friendly gesture. "Perhaps we will find out in time. But for now, it seems you've attracted the attention of the Hunt. Whether you want it or not."
Luke stepped in front of Hikari, his hand on the hilt of his sword. "What do you want with us? We're just passing through."
The hunter's eyes narrowed, and she took a step back, raising her bow slightly. "The Hunt does not entertain strangers without reason. Especially those who do not belong in our woods."
A tense silence fell over the group, each waiting for the first move to be made. The hunter's gaze softened slightly, as though she were evaluating something. Then, she finally spoke again. "I will take you to my mistress. Artemis herself wishes to meet you."
Yami's grip on his scythe tightened. "This doesn't sound like an invitation to dinner."
Hikari, trying to stay calm despite the rising tension, nodded. "We'll go. But you need to tell us what this is all about."
The hunter didn't respond, but instead, turned and gestured for them to follow her. As she moved, her figure seemed to blend into the shadows, almost as if she were part of the night itself.
The trio exchanged wary glances but followed her, knowing that they didn't have much of a choice if they wanted answers. The night air was still, and the only sound that broke the silence was the soft rustling of leaves underfoot.
As they followed the hunter deeper into the woods, Luke whispered, "Keep your guard up. We don't know what she wants with us."
Hikari nodded, keeping his senses alert, knowing that whatever was waiting for them was likely more than just a simple meeting with Artemis.
The deeper they went into the forest, the more unsettling the atmosphere became. The trees seemed to grow taller, their branches twisting unnaturally as if they were watching the trio. The moonlight flickered through the gaps in the canopy, casting eerie shadows on the ground.
After what felt like an eternity, they arrived at a clearing, where a figure stood waiting. The figure was tall and commanding, her presence unmistakable. She wore silver armor that gleamed under the moonlight, and her eyes, silver as the moon itself, glowed with an otherworldly intensity.
Artemis.
She stood in silence, her gaze sweeping over the trio before landing on Hikari. "So, you are the one who has caused such a stir," she said, her voice carrying an air of authority. "I've been watching you."
Hikari stood tall, despite the overwhelming presence of the goddess. "I didn't mean to cause trouble. We're just passing through."
Artemis smiled slightly, though it was hard to tell if it was a friendly gesture or a more calculating one. "You carry the scent of the gods with you, and yet you are different. You are not like the others."
Hikari swallowed, unsure of how to respond. He didn't know what Artemis was getting at, but he felt a strange pull toward the goddess. Something about her was familiar, like she knew something he didn't.
"You will find your path difficult, son of Aphrodite," Artemis continued, her voice softer now. "But I can offer you guidance, if you are willing to accept it."
Yami and Luke exchanged a glance, both sensing the weight of Artemis' words. Hikari looked at her, then back at his friends, his thoughts racing. What was this all about? What did Artemis want from him?
"Why me?" Hikari asked finally, his voice steady but with a hint of uncertainty.
Artemis stepped closer, her silver eyes locking onto his. "Because, you are the key to something much larger than you realize. And the Hunt... will need you."
Artemis looked at Hikari. "Follow me to my tent"
Yami then went Infront of him. "As if I am letting him go with you, we all know your deep with his mother"
As then an arrows almost hit him, as then the arrows hit the floor as Yami meets Zoe
Zoe just looked at him and narrowed her eyes. "One shall not speak to Lady Artemis if not speak to, so stupid boy keep your mouth shut"
Yami just looked at her. "Oh we are definitely not gonna get along, old English girl".
Artemis then spoke. "Enough, Huntress stand down, and Hikari".
Hikari noded as he follows her to his tent, as then Zoe looked at Karin in her snake fomr
Zoe looked at her thinking the demoness was a normal snake. "You can keep the snake here"
As she Tryed to touch the snake smacker her hand away, Zoe's tryed again but it was slapped away as then again Zoe pride was harmed no animal was like they to her
Hikari then patter Karin. "She doesn't like being separated from me"
As he walked into the tent of Artemis, as then Artemis took her child form as she looked at him
Artemis just looked at him. "Son of Aphrodite".
Hikari sighed and looked at her. "First of all if this has something to do with my Mon forget it, I want no part in this beef".
Artemis looked at him. "I don't just have beef with her but all of the Aphrodite cabin"
Hikari felt like his Brain crash. "What the hell did my siblings do".
Artemis's gaze softened, but there was an undeniable seriousness in her eyes. She crossed her arms and took a slow breath before speaking again.
"They've become... distractions," she said quietly, as if trying to find the right words. "Your siblings, the children of Aphrodite, have been becoming too involved in matters they should not be. Their influence is spreading, and not in a way I or my Hunt approve of."
Hikari blinked in confusion, still trying to piece together what Artemis was saying. "I... don't understand. What do you mean? They're just... being themselves, aren't they?"
Artemis exhaled, almost as though she were tired. "They've begun focusing on matters of vanity, of superficial beauty, and frivolous desires. While I do not begrudge them the beauty of their mother, their priorities have shifted in a way that is... detrimental to their growth."
Hikari ran a hand through his hair. "Wait, you're saying they've... strayed? From what, exactly?"
Artemis stepped closer, her eyes intense but not unkind. "The Hunt is about strength, discipline, and unity. We focus on our purpose, on what is true, and we never let distractions cloud our goals. But your siblings—while they are powerful, they've become distracted by things like love, appearance, and trivialities. Some of them have even gone so far as to manipulate the emotions of others to further their own desires, without understanding the consequences."
Hikari frowned, thinking back to his siblings at Camp Half-Blood. He knew they weren't all perfect, but this seemed like something different. He couldn't help but feel a little defensive.
"They're not all like that. Some of them are genuinely good people. And even if they're not as... focused as you, they still have their strengths. They're still my family."
Artemis studied him for a long moment, as though deciding whether to trust him with more information. Finally, she spoke again, her voice low and measured.
"I am not here to pass judgment on them, Hikari. What I am here to do is to ask for your help. You have a different energy about you—a kind of balance that even your mother can't provide. I sense you have a deeper purpose than just being a child of Aphrodite. You are not bound to your mother's ways, not entirely. That is why I am offering you guidance... and an opportunity to prove yourself."
Hikari shook his head slowly. "I'm not sure I understand. What do you need me to do? And why me? Why not someone who actually belongs in your Hunt, someone who's already a part of your world?"
Artemis stepped back slightly, her eyes distant as if she were reflecting on something far older than Hikari could imagine. "Because, son of Aphrodite, you are neither fully part of the world of love and beauty, nor fully part of the world of the Hunt. You stand between two forces, and that puts you in a unique position. You see, the balance between love and strength is something that has been disturbed for a long time. I need someone who can bridge the gap—someone who can help restore that balance."
Hikari felt a shiver run down his spine. "You're saying I'm some kind of... bridge between two worlds?"
Artemis gave a small nod, her face unreadable. "Yes. And if you can prove yourself worthy of this role, I will give you my blessing. But be warned, the path you walk will not be easy. The decisions you make will have consequences not just for you, but for your family, and for the gods themselves."
Hikari could feel his heart racing as the weight of her words settled in. It felt like everything was changing, and he was suddenly thrust into something far bigger than he could have imagined.
Before he could respond, Zoe entered the tent, her eyes still narrowed with suspicion as she shot a glance at Karin. "Lady Artemis, we should not waste time on this child of Aphrodite. There is much to be done. The Hunt cannot wait."
Artemis turned her head slowly to Zoe, her expression cool but calm. "Patience, Zoe. This one is important. He will come with us. And he will help us, whether he knows it or not."
Zoe opened her mouth to protest but closed it as Artemis's gaze became more intense. "Let him decide for himself. The choice is his, and his alone."
Hikari took a deep breath, his mind spinning with everything that had happened so far. The golden orb that Medusa had given him seemed to grow heavier in his pocket, almost as though it were tied to this decision somehow. He didn't know exactly what Artemis was asking of him, but he knew that his life—and the lives of everyone he cared about—was about to change forever.
"I don't know what I'm getting into," he said finally, looking directly at Artemis, "but if you truly think I can help, I'll do my best. But you have to know—I'm doing this for myself, and not for some grand cause. I have my own reasons for wanting to help, and I don't take that lightly."
Artemis studied him for a moment before nodding slowly, as though she were satisfied with his answer. "Very well. You have chosen. And you will be tested. But know this, son of Aphrodite—your mother's influence may not always guide you in the right direction. In the end, you must rely on your own strength and judgment. The Hunt will not always be easy, but it will shape you into something greater."
Hikari nodded, determined to face whatever came next. It felt like the beginning of something far bigger than just a quest or a fight. It felt like the beginning of his own journey—one that would test everything he believed in and every choice he made.
