New steamer join pokemon.

### Author's Note

This chapter took a lot of time to work on, and I am still not completely happy with it. The previous streamer was from the original fanfic, so I decided to add my own and a second streamer to make the game more famous worldwide. I made a mistake by concentrating only on America, so why not go worldwide first?

New rule about the world: Since technology is more advanced, there is a huge advancement in translation as well, so there will be no need to translate the game into other languages.

Nintendo and Blizzard do not exist in this new world, so he will create most of the games from those two companies.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Hey everyone, welcome back to the stream!" Leo greeted his viewers with a wide smile. The chat instantly lit up with a mix of greetings, emojis, and questions.

Leo, a Chinese streamer living in England, had built a loyal following over the years. His content ranged from gameplay to discussions about culture and life in the UK. Today, he was particularly excited because he was about to dive into a new, highly anticipated game.

"I've been wanting to play something new," Leo said, scanning through the latest game releases. "Let's see what's out there." He scrolled through a list of games, reading out titles and descriptions.

@GamerX: Check out Pokémon Red or Green!

@RetroGamer: Pokémon Red/Green is the hot new game!

@GameMaster: Pokémon Red has a badass dragon. Just play that one!

"Pokémon Red or Green, huh?" Leo mused, intrigued. "I wonder what's different between them, but let's go with Pokémon Red for today. We'll explore the world of Pokémon together."

He adjusted his headset and clicked on the game's icon. The screen transitioned to the game's title screen, and Leo felt a rush of excitement. "Alright, let's dive in."

The game began with an introduction from Professor Oak, a wise-looking character with gray hair and a lab coat. "Welcome to the world of Pokémon. My name is Oak. People affectionately refer to me as the Pokémon Professor."

Leo read the text aloud for his viewers. "Pokémon are mysterious creatures with various abilities. Some people keep Pokémon as pets, others use them for battling."

The game showed images of different Pokémon, creatures of various shapes and sizes. "Wow, these designs are amazing," Leo said. "I can't wait to see them in action."

Professor Oak then asked, "Are you a boy or a girl?" There was also a third option: "I don't know."

Leo selected "I don't know," and Oak responded, "You don't know?"

Leo's character replied, "Well, I haven't decided yet."

@RetroGamer: LOL, that's brilliant! @GameMaster: The creator is a genius!

Oak continued, "Well, the point is to decide, so pick boy or girl."

Leo chose "boy" and moved on to name creation. After inputting "Leo," the journey began.

"Okay, let's get started," Leo said, moving his character around. He explored his house, chatted with his in-game mom, and then ventured outside. "This place looks cozy."

As he walked into the tall grass, he was stopped by Professor Oak and brought to his lab. There, he was given the choice of three starter Pokémon: Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle.

"Which one should I choose?" Leo asked, glancing at the chat.

@GamerX: Go with Charmander!

@RetroGamer: Isn't Bulbasaur a small version of the Pokémon in Pokémon Green?

@GameMaster: Squirtle for the win!

"Let's go with Charmander," Leo decided, selecting the Fire-type Pokémon. "I'll name you Flare."

With Flare by his side, Leo faced his rival, who had chosen Squirtle. "Our first battle!" Leo exclaimed. "Huh, it resists Ember? Well, the turtle is Water-type," The battle mechanics were simple yet engaging, with Flare using Scratch to defeat Squirtle.

After winning the battle, Professor Oak gave Leo a quest to deliver a parcel to the Pokémon Mart in Viridian City. "Alright, let's go," Leo said, making his way to Viridian City.

Once in Viridian City, Leo picked up the parcel from the Pokémon Mart. "Looks like I have to head back to Pallet Town," Leo said, making the return trip.

Upon returning the parcel, Professor Oak thanked Leo and gave him the Pokédex, a high-tech encyclopedia that recorded information about Pokémon. "This is awesome," Leo said, exploring the Pokédex. "Looks like I can see where to find Pokémon I've seen before. Super handy! Also, here are five Poké Balls to help you catch Pokémon."

Leo's journey truly began as he traveled north to Viridian City again, encountering wild Pokémon along the way. "Check out these Pidgey and Rattata," Leo said. "They're so different from each other. Pidgey is a bird, while Rattata looks like a purple rat."

When he reached Viridian City, Leo visited the Pokémon Center to heal his team and explore the top floor. "What's up here?" he wondered aloud.

He found the trade and battle center but needed more badges to unlock it (4 in total).

@GamerX: Hey, if there is online trading, maybe there are Pokémon you can't catch in Pokémon Red that you can catch in Pokémon Green and vice versa!

Leo headed downstairs and continued exploring. He spoke to all the NPCs there.

NPC 1: "Training your Pokémon is essential for victory!"

NPC 2: "Always remember to stock up on items before heading out."

Leo then opened the PC in the Pokémon Center. He saw options for Pokémon storage, inbox, and voidtrade.

@RetroGamer: Well, here's the in-game store. Was wondering where it was. @GameMaster: Looks like you need four badges to unlock it.

Leo: "Since it isn't unlocked immediately, maybe it will be different. Whales don't want to wait to get an advantage."

In Viridian City, Leo explored the Pokémon School, where an NPC offered to teach him about Pokémon types.

NPC: "Hello there! Welcome to the Pokémon School. Here, you can learn about the different types of Pokémon and their strengths and weaknesses." "What type would you like to know more about?"

Leo saw a different type chart with several ??? marks, indicating types he hadn't encountered yet. He chose Fire. "Fire types are strong against Grass, Bug, Ice, and Steel, but they're weak against Water, Rock, and Fire."

@GameMaster: Great strategy info!

@RetroGamer: This will be useful for battles.

The NPC continued, "Once you have three badges, I'll give you a special test for a reward."

Leo made his way to the western path. He encountered different Pokémon. "Look, a Nidoran!" Leo exclaimed. He threw a Poké Ball but failed to catch it and decided to beat it instead.

He reached the Pokémon League but was stopped by a guard. "You need 8 badges to enter the Pokémon League," the guard explained. "Collect them from Gym Leaders across the region."

"Got it," Leo said, realizing that this was the ultimate goal. "We'll be back."

Leo also went to the Viridian Gym but found it closed. "Damn, can't get that badge yet. Must be for higher levels."

@GamerX: Probably need more experience first. @RetroGamer: Makes sense, keeping the challenge up!

Leo headed towards the Viridian Forest.

A guide stopped him. "Here, let me show you how to catch Pokémon." The guide demonstrated the catching process. Leo realized why he had failed earlier.

Leo: "So, Pokémon have different types, and we need to catch different types to get better at this game. Each Pokémon needs to be trained individually by battling to become stronger. That's a great idea for a game."

@GameMaster: Also, each Pokémon has stats like Attack and Special Attack, as well as Defense and Special Defense.

@RetroGamer: And they have abilities and natures too, adding more depth!

Leo: "Wow, there's more to this than just the elements. What else is hidden in this game?"

A viewer commented, "The collection of cute pets game that the world thinks will get the game of the year award has nothing on Pokémon."

Leo: "Yeah, the collection of cute pets game is just pay-to-win. Pokémon has real strategy and skill involved."

The forest was a maze of trees and bushes, teeming with Bug-type Pokémon and eager trainers looking for battles. "This place is a great training ground," Leo commented as he navigated through the forest. He encountered Caterpie and Weedle and caught a Weedle.

Leo: "Let's check out Weedle compared to Charmander. Different nature and ability. How many are there?"

When Charmander got poisoned, Leo used an Antidote. He also used Potions to heal both Weedle and Charmander.

Flare leveled up quickly, learning new moves like Smokescreen and Dragonbreath. "You're getting stronger, Flare," Leo said proudly. "Soon, we'll be ready for our first gym battle."

When Charmander learned Dragonbreath, Leo received a message: "Charmander can only learn four moves. Choose a move to forget."

Leo: "Hmm, this makes it more tactical. I'll keep Ember and Dragonbreath since they're special attacks. Scratch is a melee attack, so it covers different situations. I'll forget Growl."

@GameMaster: The tactics are insane, and we haven't even earned the first badge yet! @RetroGamer: This limitation will make it harder and more strategic.

Charmander reached level 16 and evolved into Charmeleon.

@GameMaster: WTF, the Pokémon can evolve? @RetroGamer: Damn, he looks more badass now!

Leo: "Whoa, Charmander evolved into Charmeleon! This game keeps getting better. Charmeleon looks more like the Pokémon in the Pokémon Red icon. Maybe he'll evolve into that badass dragon!"

As he ventured deeper into the forest, Leo encountered a Pikachu. "Whoa, check out this Pikachu!" Leo exclaimed. "It's so cute!" One of his viewers quickly changed their username to @PikaFan123 and commented, "OMG, that's so cute! I'm changing my name!"

After capturing Pikachu, Leo finally exited the forest and arrived in Pewter City. "We made it, guys! Pewter City, here we are!"

His first stop was the Pokémon Center to heal Flare. "Always gotta take care of your Pokémon," Leo said, as the Nurse Joy in the game healed his team.

Nurse Joy: "Welcome to the Pokémon Center. We heal your Pokémon back to perfect health. Would you like to rest your Pokémon?"

"Alright, time to explore the city."

Leo visited the Museum of Science, enjoying the exhibits and chatting with NPCs.

NPC 1: "Did you know that this museum has fossils of ancient Pokémon? It's fascinating!" NPC 2: "There's so much history here. I could spend hours just looking at these exhibits."

"This game has such attention to detail. I love it," Leo remarked.

Finally, it was time to challenge the Pewter City Gym. "Okay, chat, wish me luck. We're going up against Brock!" Leo entered the gym, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves.

The gym trainers were a good warm-up, but the real challenge was Brock.

@RetroGamer: What's Brock's favorite music? Rock! @GameMaster: His rock-hard willpower? LOL!

Brock: "So, you're here. I'm Brock, Pewter City's Gym Leader. My rock-hard willpower is evident even in my Pokémon. My Pokémon are all rock-hard and have true-grit determination. That's right – my Pokémon are all Rock-type! Fwahaha! You're going to challenge me knowing that you'll lose? That's the Trainer's honor that compels you to challenge me. Fine then! Show me your best!"

"Here we go, Flare," Leo said, as the battle began.

Brock's Geodude and Onix were tough opponents, but Flare's Dragonbreath attacks proved effective. "Come on, Flare, you can do it!" Leo cheered, and his viewers echoed his encouragement.

After a tense battle, Flare emerged victorious.

Brock: "I took you for granted, and so I lost. As proof of your victory, I confer on you this... the official Pokémon League Boulder Badge."

"Yes! We did it!" Leo exclaimed, pumping his fist in the air. "Boulder Badge, baby!"

Brock: "Just having the Boulder Badge makes your Pokémon more powerful. It also enables the use of the move Flash outside of battle. Of course, a Pokémon must know the move Flash to use it. Also, take this."

Brock handed Leo a TM.

Brock: "A TM, Technical Machine, contains a technique for Pokémon. Using a TM teaches the move it contains to a Pokémon. A TM can be used only once, so think carefully before using it. This one contains Rock Tomb – it hurls boulders at the foe and lowers its Speed."

@PikaFan123: Congrats, Leo! @GamerX: Knew you could do it! @RetroGamer: On to the next challenge!

Leo: "Wow, so Pokémon can learn moves by leveling up and using items. This game just keeps getting deeper!"

Leo saved his game and leaned back in his chair, a satisfied smile on his face. "Damn, I played for an hour already?? I don't want to stop!!

### Author's Note

This chapter needs some revision, but I didn't want to leave people without a chapter for too long. The next chapter will return to our main character, and we'll see what the results are. He will soon start getting involved in streaming and forum discussions to become famous himself, so stay tuned.
