Chapter 3: Cloaked in Curry

Anya patiently waited for one of the three aces to come but none of them came forward to help Hyuna who was on the ground.To Anya's surprise Soyoon quickly rushed over to Hyuna.

Both Yuna and Anya quickly followed Soyoon's lead and walked towards Hyuna. When they reached the place where Hyuna was, a cold voice spoke , "You guys should now your place.Don't you dare try to poke your nose in my matter."

Soyoon who usually didn't interfere in other people's matters again surprised Anya and Yuna by saying , "Isn't this enough or today, Jiyoo?" and then she helped Hyuna get up.Then the four of them started walking towards the washroom.

Jiyoo stood there biting her lower lip looking at the four of them walk away.She then turned around and stormed off.After that the remaining students quietly gossiped about this incident with each other.

When the four of them reached the washroom Hyuna started to sob quietly as she tightly clenched her white shirt which was now covered in curry. Yuna started gently rubbing her back while Anya gave some tissues to her. Hyuna thanked Soyoon, Yuna and Anya while Soyoon repeatedly told her that she didn't need to thank them and that she should be careful of Jiyoo as she was not one of those persons who would give up easily. Hyuna surprised all of them by saying that she was not afraid of Jiyoo instead she was crying because She felt sad for her elder sister who had sold her earrings to pay for her shirt and now it was entirely dirty.

When Anya heard Hyuna's story she felt a bit sad for Hyuna but at the same time she wanted to tell Hyuna to cheer up because her knights in shining armour would soon be there to protect her.Anya had seen enough dramas to know that the female lead always faced many trials in the beginning but at the end of the story she would always have her happily ever after.So basically all she had to do was to endure for some more time before she can enjoy her life.Anya was thinking about this when she saw that Hyuna's neck was now a bright red colour.Anya quickly told them that Hyuna's neck was burned.She then decided to go to the nurse's office to get some ointment for Hyuna.

Keita and Suho had walked out of the cafeteria after that incident had happened.Minho had told them to go first and he told them that he had to go somewhere. Both of them were walking when Keita told Suho to wait for a second and then walked inside an empty class. Suho peeped inside the classroom and saw Jiyoo and two of her friends talking to each other. When they saw Keita walk in ,all of them froze up while Jiyoo nervously stuttered , "K kk Keita what happened? Do you need something from me?"

"You have changed more than I had expected.You really disgust me, Jiyoo." Keita's cold voice cut through the silence in the almost empty classroom.After saying this he walked out.

Keita then walked over to Suho whose eyebrows were furrowed as he said, "Wasn't that a bit too harsh.I mean yeah what Jiyoo did was nasty but don't you think you took it too far with your words?"

Keita looked at Suho his eyes resolute as he spoke, "She needs to learn how things work in the real world otherwise she would get really hurt one day and then she would have no one to blame but herself.She still thinks and acts like a 12 year old.I can't reciprocate her feelings so isn't it better that I cut it off sooner later? That way she can give up sooner and maybe move one faster."

Suho face broke into a grin as he remembered that his friend here had always been a little eccentric when it came to dealing with things like emotions.One would think Keita's way of handling such things was wrong but on another note it was always rational.He wouldn't put up a fake smile to lead someone else's feelings instead he would hit them with his hard words.His reasoning being "Its better to shatter their futile dreams now than to have them nurture it into something more deeper and serious just to have it smashed later."

Thats who Keita Ha was.How could Suho ever forget that?

Both of them then walked away.

Inside the classroom a stunned Jiyoo remained frozen.

"Disgust.He hates me now"Jiyoo mumbles.Her friends quickly gather around her and start saying that it is all Hyuna's fault and start calling her names. Jiyoo was still in shock when she once again bites her lips.This time a drop of blood trickles down her pinkish-red lips.She doesn't say anything to her friends and slowly starts walking outside the classroom.

She was walking down the class corridor when a hand jerked her from behind.

"Why did you do that?" Minho spoke furiously, his forehead drenched in sweat, a clear indication of the fact that he had been anxiously looking for Jiyoo.

"What should I do now, Minho.He said I disgust him.He hates me now.It's all that wretch's fault.It's her fault."Jiyoo mutters, her eyes red and her voice quivering.

Minho takes her hand and drags her forward."Your bleeding.You need to go to the nurse." Minho shouts furiously his voice also quivering but with anger and not fear.

Jiyoo allows her to be ushered by Minho.When they reach the nurse's office Minho calls for the nurse but she isn't there so he quickly opens the ointment cupboard and takes out some bandages and wound healing ointments. Jiyoo sits quietly on the chair as Minho slowly puts the ointment on her wound.He is almost done when Jiyoo says, "Why couldn't I just fall for you instead.Everything would be so much simpler then."

Minho looks up as he says in a tense tone, "It isn't too late now.I'm still here."

Jiyoo chuckles as she says, "Minho I tried I really tried but I'm sorry.I'm really so sorry."

Minho opens his mouth to say something when a clatter is heard.

Behind the Nurse's office door Anya curses silently as she anxiously hopes that Minho and Jiyoo don't come over .She silently apologizes for eavesdropping on their conversation but she really couldn't help it.She carefully hides behind the door when she hears footsteps drawing nearer to the door.Her heart's thumping loudly when ....
