Freedom

After the beep of the pulse rate system stopped, Louis' soul came out of her body, surprised seeing her body out of the body.

"No, no, no, what's going on? Why is my body-" She tried to make her body come back to her body but then it passed through it.

"No, no, no," she murmured in trouble and then she began to fade away, she shook her head in panic, she couldn't just leave unable to go back to her parents and leave Moses defeated.

Fading away slowly, she began to whimper but then she saw the entire place also fade into a black background but someone didn't fade out, Moses didn't.

She frowned, she was fading away but why was he not fading away? She ran to meet him but then she wasn't the only one running toward him, the run became long as other souls were also running to meet him.

"Please excuse me," she struggled and then she was pushed down, she looked up to see the souls that were heading toward him, she was fading away and she didn't have time.

The voices of the other souls were begging him to return but despite the fact she could see that he was listening, she saw him pretend as though he wasn't listening.

Louis tried standing but then her soul was fading away but she didn't want the demon to save her, she called his name but he couldn't listen to her voice because of the voices of the other souls so she yelled once more.

"Moses, save me! Please!" She yelled and then Moses wasn't there anymore and then the rest of them began to fade away into dust and when it was her turn, she felt Moses hug her.

"You're not going, you still have to stay," Moses said concerned and then she opened her eyes to see that she was in the room though she saw the shocked faces on the nurses as they immediately began to attend to her.

Placing the oxygen mask on her nose, she looked around for Moses and there, she saw him standing at the side behind the doctor having an unexpressed attitude.

Fluttering her eyelashes she opened her mouth, he'd saved her, what she saw was it true? She'd thought he was the devil then why the other side of him

"How is she doing, doctor?" Moses calmly asked the doctor.

"She's recovering her health though she would still have to get some rest," the doctor turned to Moses with a dazed expression he couldn't hide the questions he had within.

"Sir, how did you know she was going to come around?" Moses blankly stared at Louis opening his mouth to speak.

"She would have needed it, she would have needed someone who could make the oxygen level still there," Moses answered and turned to leave but Louis held his arm as he turned to her.

"Louis, you would speak to him later, but right now, you need rest," Hailey softly spoke removing her hand from his then she approached Moses and the doctor to move out of the room but once again, Louis's aggressiveness wasn't taking it lightly as she removed the oxygen mask.

"Moses, I would like to speak to you," Louis said trying to catch her breath, the doctor was about to come toward her but she raised her hand to stop him.

"You don't have to do anything, I'm okay, I just want to speak with Moses," The doctor didn't want to budge to her demand but Moses insisted and then they left along with Hailey.

Closing the door, Louis was about to step out of the bed but then she was stopped as Moses held her hand making sure she was seated.

"You don't need to move, you haven't recovered yet."

"Ughh," Louis groaned as she slapped Moses.

"Please just stop behaving nice to me, your only going to hurt me once more. I never did anything but then you always want to see me in pain and, and that, did you appear there? Was I going to die?" Moses nodded slowly and then another slap landed.

"What took you so long, I thought I was going to lose everything without saying goodbye."

"But, neither would you have to say goodbye nor would you get to stay here again."

It felt like Louis was hearing a joke, it hadn't been three weeks since she got to suffer so brutally.

"You can finally get rid of me, you can make me go far away from you and even get me punished."

"What do you mean?"

"Your boyfriend had made a way for you, and now, I've realized how stupid I was, I caused you pain and I need to suffer for what I've done. You could take revenge if you want to." Moses stood up about to leave but retracted as she held his arm.

"How am I sure you wouldn't manipulate others to escape?"

Moses snarled.

"Why do you think I'll like to escape?" Moses said walking out of the room, in thought, Louis thought about what he said and then, a small smile curled on her lips, she was going to see her parents again.

She stood up walking out of the room into the hallway as she looked for someone excitedly, when she saw him, Louis ran to Kelvin surprising him with a hug after calling his name as he stopped to look around.

"Thanks, thank you so much," she said releasing the hug.

"Hey, aren't you supposed to be resting?"

"I don't want to rest, I just want to go home, it feels suffocating staying here with the anticipation of wanting to go back home. I just can't wait anymore!!" She said with joy but then her expression twitched.

"How did you get to convince him? He knows how to get his way around things like this then why?"

Kelvin was also in wonder as he frowned.

Knowing Moses' status, he could easily get away with everything even without releasing her but why was he releasing her? Could it be a trap or a new game?
