Louis lay on the bed unconscious as the doctor checked on her, as the doctor placed the water drip back into her system, with a frown on his face he couldn't believe the fact that the water drip was removed when the water in her body hadn't reached a half a liter.

"What happened with her? Her condition isn't better but despite the fact, she still removed the drip and caused herself more pain," the doctor said scolding Hailey as she thought of what she would say, how was she going to tell the doctor because she was so aggressive she ended up in that situation.

The doctor dropped his stethoscope, his colleague had come to attend to her and now, he had a displeased face, how he could say it, with courage he sighed a heavy breath.

"I don't know how I should say this but with my prediction, I don't think she would make it, the pain with which she had experienced before and now, she'd removed the water drip that was supplying her consciousness and hurt herself, it would be hard to say that she's going to recover."

"Oh my gawd, if she's unconscious then?" Hailey stated in worry.

The door finally opened as a man dressed in a business corporate outfit came to the office with heavy breath and his face, sweat rained on it.

He'd been running from where he was since the time he received the phone call.

"Sir, I'm here," he informed as Moses raised his head His cold aura occupied the room, and Dash gulped his saliva feeling goosebumps from his stare, couldn't he be more nicer? He'd run a meter just to be welcomed with a face that was expecting answers that would solve his problem.

"Have you gotten something for the case?" Moses asked as he stood up from his chair and then he gesture to Dash to sit on the couch opposite the one he was going to sit on.

"Sir, the case is quite a pricey one and it would be difficult for us and probably we'll be put on the faulty end if this is true."

"What if I tell you the allegation is true?" Hearing his calm voice, Dash nearly choked on his saliva, he never thought a woman would be at his house, that was the last thing he could think about knowing Moses.

"Though the allegations are wrong, I never assaulted her," he spoke indifferently as Dash reasoned, if he never assaulted her then why would the man make a setup for Moses Brunte?

"But Sir, what he's saying is you forcefully took her in without consent, is that true?"

"I have my reasons," he confessed like a child caught in the act.

"Sir, about the situation, oh my, Sir, I'm sorry but the case would be so difficult for us to win, I give you a twenty percent because what you did here was wrong, no offense taken." Moses knew though, he could stop the situation once and for all, if he wanted, manipulating the judge would be easy for him but then he wants to see what Mike was made of.

"What about, Louis, could she stop the situation?"

"I think so, if she's able to convince the judge about the matter, that's if she's willing to agree that she's been in a safe condition and you did nothing wrong," Moses nodded as he received a phone call, as he excused himself, he answered Hailey's call only to hear her speak with a worried voice.

"Moses, everything isn't fine here she'd lost consciousness and the doctor said that it might be difficult for her to make it."

Moses froze hearing what she'd said, his heart beat so fast for the first time after a long while, it felt like she was someone who could make time so slow in heartbreak.

His phone dropped as the wind passed by silently, Dash stood up from his seat in surprise.

"Sir, is there?"

"I'm coming," Moses said and then he rushed out of the office in a flash running through time and then within two seconds, he was in front of the door of his room.

He raised his hand to knock but then he felt reluctant, why was he feeling emotional now?

Was it because he wouldn't be able to discover who she was or because he might end up in jail if her death is spread?

Just now he knew his heartless sins, after all, she hated him so much so was it worth it, she would only make sure that he was going to end up in prison if she is to wake up.

He slowly fell but then the door opened as Hailey was about to head out.

"Moses, when did you get here?"

"Nanny Hailey, how is her condition?" He said with a swollen voice, Hailey didn't speak a word in reply as she opened the door to reveal Louis' condition.

Tube stuck in her nose and her wrist, the nurses and doctors attentively took their time to make sure she was okay, as the doctor checked on her, he asked the nurse to check her pulse rate on the system, still beeping though it was low, seeing her in that condition, he felt his heart clench in pain feeling guilty for not thinking through, he blamed himself for causing her to fall into the condition.

"Nanny Hailey," he was about to speak but he was interrupted by the sound of her pulse rate dropping and then Louis began to raise her body trying to catch her breath, the nurses and doctor immediately took measures as they took the oxygen mask placing it on her nose.

"Make sure is connected," the doctor instructed as the doctor took precautions trying to stable her breath but then it was getting worse, Moses stood at the door dumbstruck, and then, Hailey headed toward her as she tried to make sure she stayed stable but even with her power it was only becoming worse.

"Louis, you'll be alright," Hailey said in encouragement despite the fact, she was losing breath.

Meanwhile, Moses watched what happened unable to express it, he felt his feet were glued to the ground.

What could he do?

Embrace her and ask her to stay alive.

The feeling was new to him, after a few seconds he began to hear the faint voice that spoke in the room and Louis, she sucked in the breath she could receive and then with a puff and inhale, she opened her eyes to see the environment seeing the doctor struggling though she couldn't, already trapped in a world she doesn't want to belong to, she closed her eyes breathing her last breath and then the pulse rate system began to beep in a straight line.

"She's gone," the doctor declared with a sad expression as he removed the materials they connected to her body.

Moses stood at the door speechless despite the fact he heard what the doctor said, the whole scenery was a remembrance for him, the same declaration that made his life turn cold, the same event.

Just as the doctor was about to remove the pulse rate connector, he had his hand held just to see if it was Moses who held his hand.

"Place it on her, she would still need it," he said calmly as the doctor arched his eyebrow in confusion, what was he saying? Though the next minute, Louis's finger shifted, and then the pulse rating beeped

once again stating she began to breathe.
