Azuma accelerated to Eclair, Kenichi was distracted by the feeling Azuma's aura gave him, while Miu was busy covering herself.
Noticing Azuma, Eclair, stood in a defensive stance, "Who are you?" A bit of dread dripping from his voice.
Not answering, Azuma was nearing his prey, Eclair tried to kick Azuma with intentions of creating space between them. Not playing, Azuma only caught Eclair's leg, tightening his grip on his leg, applying more and more strength to it, until a snap and a scream were heard.
Whether the snap or the scream woke Kenichi from his thoughts was unclear, but he was able to look at Azuma, and Eclair, Azuma was raising him by the neck, his leg twisted in an unnatural way.
With an indifferent face, Azuma whispered to Eclair, "I really don't give a shit about you, but a mere master threatening my niece….. I would've killed you, but you are not worth it." Azuma gave Eclair a big smile, and continued, "Tell my brother I do not give a damn about who the strongest disciple is or their plans, but I will start killing if they piss me off."
Coughing, trying to talk, "You are….. Azuma....Fūrinji?"
Giving him one last smile, whispering to Eclair's ear, "Remember, I'm not Ryōzanpaku, I have no qualms with killing pests." Finishing, Azuma threw Eclair, through the same window Sakaki had been thrown.
After getting rid of the nuisance, Azuma turned towards the kids, who all had an expression of horror, believing Azuma had just killed Eclair.
With faked indignance, "What? It's not like I killed him, in fact." With a small pause, a thoughtful look on his face, he started counting. "Three….Two….One."
On the one, Sakaki landed through the window, carrying a scared-looking Eclair, the group, giving a giant sigh of relief, not really knowing that had they not been here, Azuma would have broken Eclair's neck.
As he landed Sakaki, who understood Azuma more than the kids, told him, "Thanks." Not bothering to continue, dropping Eclair on the floor, Sakai walked towards Gauche, who had passed out due to fear when Eclair had almost killed him, grabbing him like trash, Sakaki, and the kids started walking away.
As Azuma followed, he looked back at Eclair, "Remember to deliver my message." Not bothering to wait for an answer, Azuma followed the rest.
He told him to deliver the message to Senzui, by the looks of it, Eclair knew of him, meaning Yami had already spread his information to its members, not surprising.
Once they reached Ryōzanpaku, Kenichi and Kisara left, both lost in thought, finally being able to see a master level fight, they received a wakeup call, Kenichi understood that compared to masters he could do nothing at all but only watch motionless, while Kisara got an understanding of the power levels of martial artists, both deciding to leave Azuma's show in the back of their minds.
Miu didn't care that much, she had been in an even more dangerous situation as a kid, traveling with her grandfather, she headed straight to her mom, ready to tell her everything about her adventure.
._._._._._._.
Eclair had delivered the message to Yami, they took it somewhat seriously, that, until Mikumo intervened, reminding them that Azuma was not Ryōzanpaku, he had killed before and he would again if push comes to shove.
Not that she was trying to put Azuma in danger, she knew her son could handle himself, besides, when he visited he told her how bored he was, maybe with the upcoming fights he would get rid of his boredom.
Of all OSNF, all but two listened to his warning, Ogata and Jenazad not caring at all about it. Jenazad only laughed, while Ogata was already making plans, already having contacted Tenmon Li, a Yomi master to bring his disciple and daughter to Japan with the purpose of defeating Kenichi, at least that's what Ogata told the master.
The days passed, Kisara was starting to grasp Renewal's katas, she still had a long time to master them, but she did grow stronger, starting to reach Kenichi's level, not that Kenichi was not strong, but right now he was just learning five different martial arts, while Kisara was learning one, that already combined three. The boy would take a while longer before starting to combine them all.
Most of Kisara's training consisted of variations of exercises Azuma had done before, first starting with the rope exercises, the girl had excellent balance, but it wasn't enough for Renewal, she needed to be able to attack in any position, with either of her legs.
The good thing was that Azuma didn't need to teach her from the beginning, slowly changing her katas to that of Renewals, made it far simpler. Azuma had asked Shigure and the other masters if they could help Kisara from time to time. The masters accepted, they already taught Kenichi, so while the disciples spared, they could give pointers on Kisara's foundation.
Azuma took advantage of his free time to study his findings on Kenichi's fight against Ryūto, confirming his theory was correct, the danger occurred when Dou and Sei ki met, so he would need to find a way to take Dou ki to the inside, the most dangerous part of this, however, he needed to do that without it meeting Sei ki.
Finally concluding that he would need to strengthen his body, even more, reducing the risk Dou ki would pose on his body. Keeping his usual schedule of practicing with Shigure, he had started to get an idea for Sei ki thanks to Hiten Mitsurugi-ryū, following his implementation of Dou with Renewal, he would do the same for Sei, compressing and mastering Sei to its minute detail.
Azuma's days started to become a cycle once again, wake up, breakfast, practice with Shigure, training Kisara, training himself, having a meal somewhere in between, or eating with the masters, dinner at his home, rinse and repeat.
His comfortable routine is broken by news of an incredible sword out in the wild. Knowing what this meant, he prepared along with Shigure to go on a small trip. Azuma and Shigure had taken the sword hunts as small vacations/trips for them to relax and spend time together, however now that the couple had disciples, they would need to make it quick, as before they would take a week before they returned, the sword being captured by the first day, or being a fake.
Kenichi saw the couple leaving Ryōzanpaku, confused as to why Azuma had a sword on his back, "Azuma-san, since when did you fight with swords?"
Stopping in front of the boy, with an embarrassed look on his face, feeling Shigure's look on his back, understanding her look was saying the same -Why?- Starting with a small cough, "Well you see Kenichi-kun, I'm quite adept with Tenken." Signaling to the sword on his back, "But I have a cute girlfriend that is a master on weapons, so I've never felt the need to use it." Finishing he gave a step back, putting his arm over Shigure, who, hearing his response, took a small blush, resting her head on his arm.
Kenichi was lost on thought, understanding that he would never get used to his poker-faced weapons sensei acting like a schoolgirl in love. He started imagining Miu having the same look with him. With his head in the clouds, he failed to notice the couple had already left.
