(Short Chapter)

"Why aren't we leaving yet captain?" beatrix ask me as we are currently on the docks waiting in our ship.

"We're waiting for someone" I simply explain without even facing her as i was looking at the distance.

"Who is it? a friend?" she ask again.

"He isn't my friend, yet." i answer her question

"As for who is it, him" i added as i point to a guy with hawk eyes who was in a small coffin boat.

"Follow that guy" i order ava to which she nod and steer the helm.

After 30 minutes or so, we arrive at a desolate shore as he was just standing there, waiting for us.

'Well it's not like were trying to conceal our aura from him' i thought seeing that he already knew that were following him.

"Why are you following me" he ask while holding the hilt of his sword.

"You're the famous Dracule 'Hawkeye' Mihawk right? the bounty hunter?" i answer his question with another question.

He seem vigilant as his hands clenched the sword hilt.

"And what does that have to do with you?" He ask as he got into a ready position.

"Hey-hey-hey, no need to be so wary about me, im just here to talk" i said as i lift my hands above my shoulder; surrender pose.

"What is it? Who are you?" he still didn't believe me.

"OH!, my bad how could i forgot to introduce myself, i am Heart Zayn, the Captain of the Red-eye Pirates." i state

"And im here to invite you, Mihawk, to join my pirate group!" i continue.

"You're inviting me?, a bounty hunter, to join your pirate group??"

"are you insane or something?!" he yell at me.

"yes."

".....I refuse!" he yell after a moment of silence.

"I also refuse!!" i refute him.

"???" (6x)

".....you refuse what?" he ask the question that even my crew wanna ask about.

"I refuse your refusal!" i answer which the corner of his mouth to twitch.

"THATS NOT HOW IT WORKS!!" He yelled again. Hayss he is far away from the mihawk on the canon in terms of calmness.

"...ok"

There was a moment of silent, again, then he had enough as he unsheathed his sword.

"ARRGHH! lets just fight" he said then got into his posture.

"well if you say so" i said as i charge at him, clenched my fist while adding momentum to it, i sent a punch to his guts.

He parry it with his sword, then send a counter slash to my neck.

I block it by adding a Armament haki at my neck. After that, i retreat a few step backward.

"not bad" i said, smiling, while he was stunned seeing my neck being covered by a black with white metalic substance.

"What's that?!" he ask stunned.

"Oh you mean this?"

I demonstrate it to him by using armament to my right hand.

"This is what the people from Grandline called 'Haki' "

"What does that do?" he ask again.

"Haki has three different type and this is one of them, Armament haki, a type of haki that could be use for offense and defense purposes." i explain.

"Armament haki could also use to hit a logia devil fruit user and some paramecia type" i continue explaining without a beat.

"....."

"did you get it?"

"....no?"

"sigh....you know what, just forget about it" i sigh and said.

"let's just continue!" i said then dash forward at him taking a punch motion.

"!!!!" he was caught off guard as he tried to block my but underestimate the power behind it, he got send flying 50 meters away from our current location.

We approach his location, he was stuck in a very huge wall of stones.

His nose was bleeding and he has many cuts and bruises all over his body.

We approach the him, he was unconscious while his sword was broken in half.

"well looks like i overdid it" i said as i took out a green potion from the inventory and pour it to his mouth.

"take this also, just treat it as a payment for your sword." i said as i leave a big cross-figure sword besides him. Its the yoru i purchase in the system.

"what should we do now captain?" Toru ask me

'hmm....it's not that i hate canon characters but i already know how strong they'll get in the future which makes its boring.' i speak to myself in my head.

"didn't you hear? He refused, so their is nothing we need to do for him more than this now" i answer

'Didn't you refuse his refusal!!' were their thought as they all sigh.

"anyways, let's leave, we still have some places we needed to go" i state

We head back to the ship, leaving the unconscious mihawk alone in the island.

"YOSH!! SET SAIL!!" i yelled

"where to?" Ava ask me

"to South Blue!!"
