Chapter 26: Conqueror Haki and Domineering Spirit

Geelong Court Square was overflowing with hundreds of thousands of pirate slaves and fishman gangsters, from a high place it seems like a tightly packed swarm of ants .

"Hahahaha, the time has come for the new Dragon Palace Kingdom to rise!" Hody Jones spread his arms, bursting into laughter.

"Hody Jones, you will not succeed! You traitor! Our Dragon Palace Kingdom will never surrender!" King Neptune roared defiantly.

"Oh, really? Ha ha ha ha! Just look at these scales! Behold my strength!" Hody boasted. "I have been planning this for ten years—no one can stop me! Neither the cowardly and incompetent royal family, nor Jinbei, nor the Straw Hats!"

"Let me tell you the truth... Otohime, the beloved princess of the Ryugu Kingdom, was killed by my own hands!" Hody's shocking revelation silenced the crowd, turning the once noisy environment into an complete silence.

"You killed Princess Otohime?! Is that true, Captain?!" A fish-man gangster gasped, unable to believe the revelation.

Previously, the residents of the Ryugu Kingdom believed that Princess Otohime was killed by human pirates, shattering their hopes of forming an alliance with humans.

"Hahaha! I paid human pirates to set fire to the 'signature box' through sniping, taking advantage of the chaos to assassinate Otohime!" Hody confessed, his tone dark and scandalous. "Then, I killed the hired human pirate and pinned the blame on him!"

"You monster! I will never forgive you!!" King Neptune roared in rage.

Hody Jones conjured a droplet of water in his hand and struck King Neptune's chest, causing the king to groan in pain.

"She's nothing but a hindrance, isn't she? Shirahoshi!" Veins bulged on Hody Jones's face as he turned his gaze toward Princess .

"Hody Jones, you spew nonsense about revenge against humans as a sin! You preach unity with humans all over the island! Your plot nearly succeeded!" Shirahoshi lips quivered as tears streamed down her face. "I... I already knew."

"What did you say?!" The revelation left everyone in shock.

"Shirahoshi what conspiracy are you plotting? Are you implying that you knew I killed your mother?!" Hody Jones's eyes bulged in disbelief, his voice laced with anger.

"All right, Shirahoshi, no need to waste any more words on this lunatic," Muchen interjected, hopping onto Shirahoshi shoulders with a calm demeanor.

"Eh?! Lord Muchen, why did you come out so quickly?"

"Your Excellency Muchen?"

"Who is this human? How did a human get here?" The fishmen residents, who had been watching in astonishment, voiced their concerns.

"You are stubborn and foolish to rely on humans for help," Hody Jones sneered. "It seems dismantling this old kingdom and establishing a new one was a wise decision!"

"I am merely a kind-hearted bystander, just here to witness your misery," Muchen stepped forward, smiling at Hody Jones.

"Hahahahahaha, you foolish human. You will regret the choice you made. Humans should be crushed underfoot by us fishmen!!!" Hody Jones laughed maniacally.

The air crackled with tension as Muchen's overwhelming Haki spread out, overwhelming the pirate slaves and gangsters charging towards him. Foam formed at their mouths, their eyes rolling back as they collapsed to the ground one after another.

Jinbei, who had witnessed Muchen's Haki before, still found himself amazed as he saw it once again. "This conqueor's haki is truly formidable, Your Excellency Muchen."

Zoro's eyes widened as he observed Muchen's Haki. Sanji and the others want to know Muchen's origin .

"Hehe, impressive I knew he's strong ," Luffy grinned, realizing that he wouldn't need to use his own Haki.

"What's happening?! Most of them fell without any attacks!" The remaining fishmen gangsters stared at Muchen in shock.

"Deal with them quickly. I'll leave it to you," Muchen stated without looking back.

In a flash, Muchen appeared in front of Hody Jones, landing a powerful punch on him.

Boom!

Hody Jones was sent flying, crashing into a wall with a thunderous impact. Stone bricks shattered, falling from above him as he sat amidst the rubble, blood come out from his mouth.

"Captain Hody!"

Hody Jones emerged from the detritus, eyes blazing with anger. Summoning a drop of water into his palm, he hurled it at Muchen.

"Meet your doom!"

Muchen channeled his Haki into his fists and deflected the high-speed water droplets, causing them to collide with the ground and creating a massive hole.

"Hmm, so he's not dead. Quite tough," Muchen commented, reappearing in front of Hody Jones. His fists blurred, raining heavy blows upon Hody's body, shrouding them both in a haze of dust, obscuring their figures.

Boom boom boom...

The fishmen gangsters watched the scene, unsettled by the voices they heard but unable to perceive the figures within the dust cloud.

"Big Tornado!" Zoro unleashed his devastating attack, engulfing the fishermen's gangsters and sending them spiraling into the air.

As Zoro smirked, wielding two swords, he taunted, "Let this be a lesson to never lose focus in battle, or it may result in your demise!"
