104- Blood Metal

Ethan put Kaya on a bed in an old building, but this bed was made of gold.

All the girls are looking for what they like inside the treasures, even Zora saw some swords made of gold which made her curious but after a good examination she lost interest because it is an ornamental sword and not a sword made for fighting.

Ethan stood beside the Queen and then asked curiously, "Is there anything else here besides gold, jewelry, and rare metals?"

"Why do you ask this question?" The Queen frowned while looking into Ethan's eyes.

"I am just curious if there is a Poneglyph inside the Underground City." Ethan smiled at the Queen, it was impossible for Ethan not to suspect the existence of the Poneglyph especially when he heard that the underground city was built 900 years ago.

The Queen opened her eyes in shock, "How did you know that one of the Poneglyphs is here? Also, how do you know about the existence of something called Poneglyph? Information about it is very protected and not many people know about its existence."

Ethan's smile widened, "I know a lot more things than you might expect. Anyway, can you show me it?"

"Okay, but don't tell anyone about the existence of this Poneglyph in my kingdom." The queen signaled him to follow her.

After a while of walking, the Queen and Ethan arrived at one of the ten giant pillars, the same from which they came out and linked to the royal palace.

There are many statues around the pillar, the queen walked to one of the statues and changed the direction of the head, then walked to another statue and changed the direction of the arm, then walked towards the third and inserted the statue's eyeballs inside the head.

Then a passage to a secret room was opened inside the pillar. "Although the high-ranking nobles of my kingdom know about the underground city, none of them know about the presence of the Poneglyph here, except for the king or queen who receives the rule."

The two of them entered the secret room, as soon as they entered they saw that the room was shining a crimson color as if the room was bathing in blood.

Ethan noticed the shock on the Queen's face, causing him to wonder, "Is there something wrong?"

The Queen didn't even get out of her shock when Ethan spoke so she didn't answer him, when Ethan noticed this he didn't ask again and looked into the huge room.

In the center of the room was a great carnage and at the bottom of it was a dark-blue Poneglyph, and on top of the carnage was a blood-red metal that radiated a crimson light causing the whole room to turn crimson.

Moments later the Queen came out of her shock, and spoke while pointing at the red metal, "Although this metal has always been red in color, it has never radiated a crimson light before."

"Does that mean you don't know why this happened?" Ethan raised an eyebrow while inquiring.

"I don't know what's going on. The previous king didn't tell me any information about this." In the 900 years of her kingdom's history, nothing like this has ever been mentioned, which means that for the first time this metal radiates a crimson light and that's why she doesn't know what's going on.

This metal aroused Ethan's interest since it was placed in the same place with the Poneglyph. "This metal must have something to do with the Poneglyph below the carnage."

"Unfortunately no one can read the ancient script, so even if this red metal were related to the Poneglyph we wouldn't know anything about it." The Queen couldn't stop herself from sighing, then remembered that there was only one girl in the world who could read this, unfortunately she didn't know where that girl was now.

The Queen was shocked, then her face turned red in shame, she did not expect Ethan to be so bold and grabbed her in this way. She even forgets that Ethan asked her for the metal and her thoughts start to go too far and think about what Ethan will do with her next.

Ethan wanted to flirt with her only a little, but he saw her blushing and she didn't refuse him when he grabbed her by the waist, so he became bolder and pulled her towards him for a hug.

The Queen's heart rate increased when she saw Ethan's face close to hers. "Ethan, we shouldn't do this here. The girls will know about this."

When he saw that the Queen did not reject his actions but requested a change of location, Ethan's smile widened. "It's okay, we're in a secret room and the girls don't know we're here."

The Queen tried to object, or at least try to persuade Ethan to change the place, but Ethan kissed her, which prevented her from saying more.
