"Ah..." I groaned softly, feeling a slight headache as I opened my eyes to examine my surroundings. "What...?" Before I could take a single step, I collapsed to the ground...

After what felt like an endless five minutes of confusion, I finally managed to stand up.

"What the hell happened to me?" I forced myself to look around, even though my vision remained blurry, and I could make out a vast blue sea.

The sky was clear, without a single cloud, which strangely reassured me. Some seagulls were circling the area, a sign that I was on a sparsely populated and apparently predator-free island. It didn't seem very extensive, judging by the distance the birds were flying.

After a few minutes of calm, the headache significantly subsided. Now, I wondered, "Where the hell am I?" I had no memories, just a constant thought that kept hammering in my mind over and over.

It was as if that thought had been there forever. "Well, anyway, there doesn't seem to be any sign of human life around here." Observing the sun at its zenith in the sky, I deduced it must be noon. I had several hours ahead to find food and water.

After exploring the small island for a few hours, I had covered almost all of its terrain. "The good news is there are no predators... at least on land. The bad news is I only found some fruit plants and no drinkable water. My only option would be to hope for rain at some point, although seeing the land so dry, I'm not very optimistic about it."

As night fell, I ate some of the fruits I had found, and one in particular contained a fair amount of water, so I would be fine for a few days.

Reflecting on what had happened so far, I realized I only had one option left.
