The head of the CP agent few passed the face of Roma and got squashed on the bark of a tree.

She stood indifferently. Internally, she was sweating hard. But outside, she was very calm.

Maki's strength was unnatural. But she was not invincible. There were more than a dozen CP agents along with two vice admirals and four rear admirals. Roma decided not to bring any ordinary Soldier, as they will be nothing more than canon fodders.

None of the marines moved without the order from Roma but, the CP agents immediately surrounded the trio.

Roma decided to talk first. Her order was to bring Roxx in. Only, Roxx. She even has gotten the permission from the elders to use Marine funds in order to buy Roxx if possible.

"Who are you ? And why are you helping a traitor ?" Roma asked. She tried to be as polite as possible. She knew that hostility was not an option.

"Maki. And the old guy here is my temporary crew mate. So I can't let you take him. At least not until my journey is over."

Roma decided to use money in this case. The opponent is not someone they can handle. And she has not killed anyone except for that CP agent, who was trying to arrest Roxx. And since Maki told her their name, Roma believed that she can extract more information from the opponent.

But the leader of the CP group was really stupid.

Before she could start negotiation, he decided to go forward and ruin everything.

"Who the hell do you think you are bitch ! You should bow before the might of the world government ! And you ! You useless admiral ! Why are you talking to a criminal with such respect !"

The CP agent pulled the safety liver of the rifle, ready to fire.

"Bow ? Why should I bow to my food ?.... Why am I even talking to a dog ?"

Maki said slowly . Her voice was not laced with conqueror's haki. But the air around her changed rapidly as she continued to speak. It was enough for the marines behind her to back away. But the CP agents were loyal dogs of world government. So they didn't backed away.

"Food ? What the hell do you mean by-" The CP agent couldn't even voice his confusion as Maki flicked her finger.

Roma's eyes widened from the display of power. She could clearly sense the attack with her observation haki. Maki has flicked har singers so fast that the year itself couldn't move with such speed. Because of that, a vacuum bullet has been created and pierced the head of the CP leader. It was not just the speed of her fingers but also the powers and durability behind them.

The attack was fast enough, that it seems no other CP agent was able to understand, what has happened when their leader dropped dead.

"I don't like dog meat. And I hate wasting food. So it will be better for both of us to go, in our own way. Do you understand bitch ? Go back to Mariejoice and lick the ass of those pigs. It will save both of us a lot of trouble." Maki said in a neutral tone.

But Roma didn't like it.

On one side her pride and self respect was telling her to teach the brat a lesson. While on the other hand, her survival instincts were telling her to flee.

But her underlings were unaware about the current situation. Especially the rear admirals.

Rear admiral Boxer immediately turned into his hybrid form and unseathed his sword. Boxer has eaten dog dog fruit, model boxer. It increases his sense of smell along with giving him all the typical zoan perks.

But it wasn't enough to face someone like Maki.

"*Weeeeeeee*crackle*rumble*"

Roma backed away going on her knees. She tried her best to stay conscious.

Unknown to Roma, Maki wasn't even using her full power.

Everyone else except for Roma, Kureha and Roxx became unconscious. It was not only a show of power but also control.

Roma has somehow managed to stay conscious.

"Stop following us." Maki said to Roma and walked away along with Kureha and Roxx.

I contemplated my decision on letting them stay alive. I could have easily killed them all. But some reason I didn't. I here no affection towards them. And knowing that they only serve celestial pigs, couldn't have made me guilty.

'Maybe deep inside I am still a human....'

"You did the right thing." Roxx told me from behind.

"What do you mean ?" I asked him.

"I might sound absurd, but those marines have no fault in seeing the world nobles as holy figures. When we join the Marines, apart from the natural rules and regulations one thing that we were taught properly is to never defy the world nobles. Despite their cruel actions, those figures must be considered as gods in the eyes of the others.

I know you hate the celestial Dragons. But you did the right thing by not involving the marines with those who have wronged you." Roxx explained.

"No I don't hate them." I simply told him.

"What ?" Roxx was confused.

"You don't get it, do you ? They have created a monster. They took away my humanity. Is it wrong that I want to eat them ? It should be natural right ? For a predator to eat it's prey ?" I told him and walked away. If the geezer thinks that he got me all figured out, then he is dead wrong.

Roma decided to play unconscious. Her motives were simple.

She didn't mind a demotion. But she just wanted to stay alive.

If a lion is not killing you, that doesn't mean, that he won't kill you.

The elders won't like it. But if she is truly not the bitch of the five elders, she needed to defy them. Even if it means betraying them.

Roma became a bounty hunter in North blue after her family got killed by pirates. Eventually she ate the logia type flare flare fruit and became a famous bounty hunter in the north blue.

Thinking back, she was doing it for her revenge.

But that changed when she accepted the invitation from the marines.

"I am no one's bitch. But I won't forget this humiliation."
